Fun fact: in the books , the tooth fairy is named toothiana and the little fairies around her are actually Her , so what ever shes feeling , they also have it but suck at suppressing it. Which is why they always swoon for jack cause tooth like him but the little fairies cant hide those feelings lmao

Isn't that much movie accurate, specially Jack's Backstory, but the books are amazing

When I was little I believed in the Sandman over Jack Frost. I live in Florida so it rarely snows here. My parents told me the Sandman gives you good dreams and that's why you wake up crud in eyes
That's why when u was little I believed in Jack Frost over sandmand. I live in Minnesota it shows sooo much and is very cold here and the saying is don't let Jack front get your nose which means getting inside before your nose freezes
I lived where it snowed and everyone knew of Jack Frost so it all depends on where you grow up and your parents teaching you

See I grew up where there was a lot of snow but knew the sandman over Jack Frost - Mainly because of that old song from the 50s (Mr. Sandman). My parents played a lot of older music as I grew up so I knew that song and asked them who Mr. Sandman was and they explained it. Think my first introduction to the concept of Jack Frost was actually the Santa Clause 3 movie 😅.
In fact, I think it’s the perfect month for this movie. This is definitely more of an Easter movie since Christmas is already over by the time the story takes place and Easter actually happens. XD
12:32 I know you're reacting and it's not that serious, but I have massive respect for this script. The sense of wonder is so important in daily life, wonder is why I often watch shows and reactions. And the VA's soft tone while explaining what a center is, is so soothing and beautiful. Just wanted to add that, carry on.

I love this movie but here in France, we don’t have Jack Frost nor an equivalent of him so when I first saw the film I was a bit confused. Also we don’t have the Tooth fairy, we have La petite souris (the little mouse) which I’m glad they included in the film 😊
As for other animated films, I would suggest you watch "Epic" (very underrated) and "Legend of the guardians - the owls of Ga'hoole"

Sandman is the best. He doesn't talk because he is supposed to represent sleep and dreaming, you wouldn't expect him to come in blowing trumpets like Santa.
I love this movie so much. I really wish Dreamworks continued with the series.

Jack's voices in English and Spanish are so different in tone that one sounds like he's 14 years old and the English one sounds like he's 25.

Chris, Alan, Hugh, and Isla Were perfect in there roles. This movie is based on “The Guardians of Childhood” books. 8:23 True. 17:45 Me and My siblings had a tooth pillow. I loved Chris and Hugh and Alan in this movie.

Seb to clarify why Easter is a holiday it’s not just about hunting chocolate eggs. It’s initially supposed to be about the resurrection of Jesus Christ after he died on the Cross. What the Easter Bunny said about Easter being about Hope and New Beginnings isn’t entirely too off from the actual meaning of the holiday. Jesus resurrecting Himself is supposed to be a symbol of how He died to forgive all of humanity for being sinners, that He washed away our sins so that we may begin anew; to have another chance; to make new beginnings. All the egg hunting and Easter bunny stuff is simply a fun way to celebrate the holiday, just like how Santa and presents are a fun way to celebrate Christmas (which is also truly about the birth of Jesus Christ). But it’s easy not to know about it if you’re not much of a religious guy; not judging just saying.
You actually watched it just in time for Easter!

this is literally my favorite holiday movie and best Santa depiction for sure, I wish they would continue the series! It truly was ahead of it's time as a avengers type movie for kids

Finally someone is actually watching this around Easter instead of Christmas! I don't understand why people keep insisting it's a Christmas movie just because Santa is in it, when it's literally Easter in the movie😭 Anyways, I also can't relate to the Easter bunny much, wasn't really a thing in my culture I believe? In my childhood there was an Easter rooster, you had to leave a hat at the end of your bed and it came to lay some chocolate eggs in it during the night! No idea why it was a rooster that was laying eggs, maybe to make it more special?
Also, fun story I have about tooth fairy; I was having a sleepover at my cousin and when we were already in bed one of my teeth finally came out. I was in that age where I kinda knew tooth fairy wasn't real but also kinda still believed it. So I put the tooth that no one there knew had come off under the pillow... and in the morning there actually was a 2€ coin there?? To this day I'm confused how that was possible because I know for a fact I didn't tell anyone that the tooth actually came off since it was late at night already, that event defintiely made me believe in tooth fairy a bit longer

This was my FAVORITE movie as a kid.
I always get annoyed when people say this is a Christmas film. I watched it in the cinema for my 9th or 10th birthday at the start of January because it came out around the start of December. Which is really odd. But it's like 11/12 years old now and people are always watching it at Christmas saying they love it and it's one of their favourite Christmas films. It always annoys me. Sure there's snow. But dude it's set at Easter. I only ever watch it around this time of year. But I've not watched it in couple years.
But damn I loved this when I was young

I remember believing in the sandman for a little bit when I was young, but I was actually scared of him, the thought of someone putting the uncomfortable crust in my eyes was eerie to me, but I like this version of the sandman.

PS I really think that most of my movies were cool too other than piglets big movie, and Pooh’s Heffalump movie and also the book of Pooh stories from the heart, even though I got inspired to make my own version of that one just because mine would be so cute that it makes people say aw

This is one of my favorite Christmas movies ever. Such a great message and a super underrated animated movie.
There are like 4 other Jack Frosts. One is evil, and the other is a kids dead dad becoming a snowman for Christmas for his son. Never seen the evil one because I was like 3. You also have the jack frost from that stop motion movie bust he goes by Snow Miser. AND from the Santa Clause 3. Anyways this movie is technically the first (but actually the 2nd) time they show Jack as a good guy.

The movie Hansel & Gretel that has Howie Mandel as sandman… absolutely everything! That’s how I knew about the Sandman when I was younger. I think it’s the movie that made me love fairytales as real life stuff.

Rise of the Guardians will always be my movie!! I just love it 😊 this movie is my favorite I can never get tired of it. Even now I’m older(not too old)but still an age people don’t watch it that much but I will forever watch it even when I’m 90😂😂
As a kid I was always confused as to why Pitch is so scared of Sandy, then I realized Sandman is the embodiment of dreams and was the first guardian that was chosen. Also he's the guardian connected most to the kids so it makes sense why he's very powerful.

This is easily one of my favorite animated movies, along with Onward and Big Hero 6. Cast was great, especially Jude Law. Super underrated and is a perfect movie to get a sequel. They even teased a couple of other potential characters and then just never went anywhere after.
"who the hell believes in the sandman" ...me, or well i used to there was this kids show on tv that i used to watch every single evening before going to sleep with sandman stories (germans/austrians probably know)
however i had never heard the name jack frost until a few years ago when my internet explorasions expanded and i heard of this movie, thats when i first realized jack frost is a thing, or well actually i thought its jhst this character from this movie but then when i watched it j realozed hes more haha
so definitely depends on where and who you grew up with

Hamleys is amazing. Almost 2 decades ago I went there with a friend. WE were strolling around the place and at one point I said that we should look for a place to have something to eat. I thought it would be a late lunch, but it was already 6pm. We've spent 5 hours inside and did not notice it until we got hungry. I love the insanity that is Hamleys.

Here in the Netherland we have a themepark that's all about fairy tales, Efteling. So I grew up with plenty. I actually remember the mice instead of the tooth fairy. We didn't have Jack Forst, but Sandman (Klaas Vaak over here), Santa, The easter bunny and boogeyman we do grow up with. And SinterKlaas who isn't santa.
