Rango, a pet chameleon who aspires to be a hero, lands in a drought-affected town plagued by bandits. He claims to be the saviour and makes an attempt to protect it. - Развлечения
Rattlesnake design is absolutely crazy!
early 🗣🗣
yeah its amazing
Rango is a one of a kind movie movie, btw Rattlesnake Jake was the original "death" for us kids back then, the film was amazing. I'd say a "polar" opposite film would be Happy Feet. if you'd be interested.
This is a true MASTERPIECE of a movie!
Bill Nighy really sells him too. The design itself is already a 10 but Bill elevates it above that to a 100
By far one of the most unique and visually gorgeous animated movies to date. Btw Rattlesnake Jake was a top tier cold-hearted villain that really deserves more recognition.
He has done the "death" character before Puss in Boots. Or at least he feels similar to him both in power and vibe
@@botondnyitrai3128back then he was the “Death” of that era
nothing is more badass than a snake with a straight up minigun on it's tail
He was not heartless. Jake had a fear of the hawk in his heart, and everyone knew it-it is really the beauty of the piece. His introduction as "might come to town now" frames his character as totally unleashed.
Fun fact: this movie was made with enhanced method acting. Essentially the VAs filmed the entire movie as themselves, and based the animation on their movements and facial expressions.
They did the same thing in fantastic Mr fox.
What I wouldn’t *GIVE* to see both of these films as the actors themselves and not the characters.
*RELEASE THE UNEDITED CUTS!*
@@godofevil9468You can see some footage I belive on the internet somewhere
That actually explains a lot.

"Try Me"
@@somedumbspammer4408”Try me…..”
The Spirit of the West is designed to be an homage to Clint Eastwood.
Who's voiced by Timothy Olyphant, who's best known for Deadwood, Justified, and The Mandalorian.
And Scream 2
And as Hitman
Reminder that Rattlesnake Jake is still one of the hardest villains of all time
(Also, unrelated, but I did not know Seb had a cat)
I still find it insane how well the cg quality holds up given that this movie came out in 2011.
Same
"Control the water and you control everything"
Dune much?
@@joniroxanne96beat me to it :
This film is so underrated
To explain the part where he realizes what the turtle did
The turtle was controlling the water and made all the land dry so he could buy it for really cheap and then bring the water back when he owns the land so he can make money of the land
Ohhhhhh
Rango is not just an amazing animated movie, it's an amazing western in it's own right. A beautiful pastiche which whilst pointing out tropes in the genre, builds upon them to create a seriously beautiful movie about self identity. A Chameleon who is known for camouflaging being forced to see himself for who he is. A Hero.
That's without talking about the animation or the unique way in which the voices for the characters was recorded. One of my all time favourites.
CORALINE NEXT!
YESSSSS!
You’re right, SebScreen. This movie was so unique that the animation was so far ahead of its time and it has indeed won an Oscar for it since it also tells a story that it takes to a journey of self-discovery that the elements around us defines who we are in the world.
This movie was certainly one of the weirdest, and yet most unique animated masterpiece I had seen. Truly, I think this one is sooo underrated.
This movie is an underrated gem!
And yknow, you might not realize it at first, but this movie has alot of similarities to Puss In Boots The Last Wish, which could explain why it's so good (not to mention the incredible animation) !
Rango and Puss equally face their own "grim reaper" (Rattlesnake Jake and Death), while undergoing their own growth stories where they let their reputations/legacies control their actions until they're forced to face their own weaknesses and stand against their biggest enemy in a show of character growth.
Rango and Puss were both equally obsessed with being "legends", before reality hit them in the face, and they had to become better people for the ones they love.
In the end, they both face their problems head on and heroically, ultimately earning the respect of the "big bad". Jake respects Rango, and Death respects Puss.
Even more-so, Rango and Puss throw the words of Jake and Death right back at them in their final showdown!
Rango: "It only takes one bullet."
Puss: "Pick it up."
It's pretty cool how both movies are so similar, yet so unique and enjoyable!
Best animation OF ALL TIME. IDC. We need more mature animations like these!
This movie played almost every time we walked into a GattiTown, so much so that I hated this movie for so long. But now it's just iconic. Anyway, now to beg for more reactions.
Movies I need Seb to watch:
-Penguins of Madagascar
-Ice Age 3
-Nanny McPhee
-Barnyard
-Daddy Day Care
-Are We There Yet?
I’ve been waiting since October 2022 for Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed🥲
@@DanielLopez-gx3fj You're so right. Adding to the list. Edit: wait he's already done it
Austin Powers Goldmember has just been completely forgotten too.
"I can just feel the texture" Literally every thing in this movie XD
A hidden gem in the animated scene. Rango has always been my favorite animated movie since I was kid
Rango makes you thirsty and ratatouille makes you hungry
I love this movie , I love the introduction of rattle snake Jake
I saw a comment asking for this a while ago and I've been holding my breathe since. Love this one
This movie is a bizarre underrated masterpiece and I’m so glad you watched it
You should watch Fantastic Mr. Fox as well
I love watching the behind the scenes (recording) for Rango and Fantastic Mr. Fox as much I love watching the movies
The setting of this film is actually based off a real like place in California, I believe. Back in the day, Las Angeles was growing at a very quick rate, quicker than it could handle, and it started to run out of water. To solve this, a group of people went out trying to find a water source, and eventually they came across a lake. They then built the famous California Aqueduct that runs across the state. However, over the years, the lake began to run dry. The lake has returned if I am correct but the idea of a body of water going dry to support a city is one similarly shown in Rango.
one of my all time favorite movies!! so happy you’ve finally reacted to it
Grew up watching this film. I used to have a bootleg version of the movie on dvd.
Ever since seeing this movie on a trip to Italy, this movie never ceases to grab my attention. Love it.
No way are you reacting to this. Love this film. You should check out the behind the scenes of the actors filming it, they all act it out on a sound stage like they did for Avatar. So good.
Honestly my favourite animated film
Rattlesnake Jake in my book is one of the best animated villains by a longshot. Everything from his imposing size, strength, cunningness, eyes, and perfect choice of voice make him an excellently designed character in my book.
Bruh I was just checking your channel out wondering why there wasn't a video for 4 days, also please watch Flushed Away you're gonna love it
i think i need those owls to narrate my life.
They probably added Raul Duke ( Hunter S.Thompson) in becasuse Johnny Depp playes him in the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
also if its been a while and you dont really remember the movie you should react to it
By far one of the most visually stunning films, and the fact it came from Nickelodeon and Paramount is insane. It holds up so well. Rattlesnake Jake was also such a fantastic villiain; I loved his design so freaking much.
MY FAVOURITE MOVIE EVERR!!!!!!! just amazing

OMG WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CAT!!!😍❤️❤️
"Thespians?!?! That's illegal in seven states!"
In The old United Kingdom, it was illegal to be an unemployed actor in town because people were never sure of the actor's identity, as a person.
The making off is something else: the actors actually played the entire movie on a sound stage with minimal amount of props!
No... you don't have to abandon the self, or become an icon to be remembered forever to satisfy or help the collectivve. It's what you do that makes you a hero.
Yeah absolutely, and the film knows that too.
I think they were just taking the p*ss out of westerns one final time, for subtracting from their characters with goofy unrelated sunset shots, that poorly try
to solidify their characters as “iconic”.
Obviously though, the film sees how Rango’s actions defined him throughout the movie, so he falls off of the bird whilst making his “iconic” parting speech.
Because like you said, the actions matter, not the appealing “iconic sunset shot”.
The way that as soon as I saw the notification I immediately pressed it because I love Seb
24:37 there’s no way he called it perfectly 👀🤣🤣
Hi Seb, awesome vid bay the way. Did you know that Johnny Depp acted out this whole movie and then they animated it?
Yes finally thank you SEB, legendary movie 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love this Movie
So unique
Johnny Depp did a great job as Rango
Not only one of the best animated movies ever, but one of the best WESTERNS compared to live action as well
One of my favourite movies in my time it is still a classic in my heart
This is the most accurate description of A Classic - unconventional, uncanny and underrated.
Great Reaction, bro … I’m sure this stuck with you for days after filming.
16:20 That guy looks like Captain Hector Barbossa from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean
The best parts are bits where Seb's cat is in the camera!!!
SO HAPPY ONE OF MY FAV RUclipsR REACT TO RANGO
Me encanta esta película! el humor que maneja, ese diseño tan realista que se vuelve incomodo de ver y la música! ♥ amo ♥
Hands down, one of the best films from my childhood. If you take film requests then may I suggest 'The Adventures of Tintin: The Sectret of the Unicorn'; another great film. Love the videos and keep up the hard work.
Yep, the adventures of tintin, truly an underrated over the top gem. Having grown up reading the tintin comics, it was so nice seeing it given a good adaptation
Crazy how CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones is in this movie in a way prob most people didnt even know how to
Wow I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid! I saw it when it came out in theaters when I was 7. I liked it back then but a lot of the jokes definitely went over my head
Rattlesnake Jake is played by Davy Jones actor Bill Nighy
This is the most Depping Jonnhy has ever Depped
Lol one of the best movies and has so many pop culture references even one to a role johnny played before
One of the very few non DreamWorks or Disney/Pixar movies to win the best animated film award.
This was one of my favorite childhood shows
This is definitely an unique film. I love it.
When I first watched this with my kids, It gave me the same feeling that Little Rascals or Shrek gave me when I was a kid. Such an odd emotion and I don't have words for it either
I really wish more animated films took chances like this one. In the end it remains one of my all time favorites.
My absolute favourite childhood and current film. An absolute masterpiece!!! :D
"Hell, I've seen things'll make a grown man lose control of his glandular functions! You spend 3 days in a horse carcass living off your own juices - it'll change a man. Oh yeah." 😂😂😂
Hector Barbossa, yup.
grew up watching it and love it
THIS WAS MY CHILDHOOD
So glad you could react to this. Personally, I think this is one of Nickelodeon's most unique and greatest achievements.
I Hope the guy who asked for it for YEARS shuts up now 😂😂
What happened to the zohan, I was looking forward to it and saw it gone?
Just got off work and I’m bouta roll one up and watch this. What a treat
Yurr !take a hit for me big broo nd ill do the same
“Go to hell.” “Where do you think I come from?”
this movie was made 13 years ago and its CGI still looks incredible
I love your reaction!! This movies is one of my favourite films. And your cat is so adorable ☺️
28:00 The increased water pressure means it doesn’t take much more force
Actual hidden gem of a movie right here, definitely would watch a sequel if one came out!
24:32 He knew exactly what just happened to me 😂😵🧑🦯
You should watch Beetlejuice it’s a old classic made by Tim Burton and has Michael Keaton
'They need to believe in something, and now...they believe in you.'
Lovely upload seb! Thanks for this one!
Hi seb I'm glad you enjoyed the movie
Made a good point about Nickelodeon films always slappin. Unfortunate they don't make anything anymore really
16:20 I know a Barbossa when I see one!
Especially on this scene... 16:35
This is the first and only animated movie made by ILM.
They are doing the next Transformers animated movie, after more than 10 years. Can't wait.
11:33 Sebby if you like strawberry liquorice, try green apple flavour!! Ita amazing! like I hate liquorice too and those two flavours are mawah!
this notification surprised me after reel rejects' one
i Do' See's This' Movie Before
Is So Many Time On DVD 📀
We' Never Know This Is On Nickelodeon'
One of the best westernes.
One of the best movies from Paramount
I watched this for the fist time as a young child right before my open-heart surgery, it is no in my top 5 films of all time!
One of the reasons why this movie is visually appealing is the asymmetrical aspects. All of the faces and shapes are crooked. Nobody in this movie is "symmetrical".
damn i was just watching reaction to this movie a couple days ago! rango's a MASTERPIECE
I think the bullet started the crack under the pressure of the water, and then the water pressure kept increasing hence the breaking glass. It makes sense to me anyway.
I remember watching this film at the cinema as a kid. I thought it was quite weird and unique, but the animation is beautiful and it's refreshing in comparison to most typical kids films. Also some funny moments I never picked up on as a child lol
Rango is a brilliant movie genuinely one of my favorites the animation is absolutely incredible for 2011
Rangoooo is so underrated!!
jst till 2024 i realized how good this movie looks and somehow looks better than newer ones
