The Adventures of Tintin (2011). definitely, it's awesome and right up your alley! Please, I would love it If you watched it. I've been watching your videos for over 2 years and you never fail to make my day better!
Fun Fact: What Hardscrabble said to sully about how a roar would make cry a child with fear of snakes can be seen in the previous movie. Boo was afraid of snake like monsters (That’s why she had Randy assigned), when she saw Sully roar she started crying instead of screaming. A little Backshadowing on Fearology 101
Fun fact: (I can’t remember which one is which anymore) Did you guys know that on Disney +, if you watch the movie on it, Randell will show you cupcakes of smiley faces on them though if you have the movie on blu ray or DVD it will instead have words on them EACH ( I can’t remember what it says on them) but then during the chase scene when trying to catch the pig, they will bump into Randell othering people cupcakes and it will say lame from the L A M E cakes that had those letters on and falling on his face.
I understand how Mike isn't supposed to be scary by monster standards, but a 3/4 foot eyeball with arms and legs showing up in your bedroom at night is terrifying and I refuse to think otherwise.
@@KangarooDude69 I'm referring to reality. Suppose tonight you wake up, no apparent reason, you're just awake. So you roll over to go back to sleep and standing right next to your bed is a giant green eyeball. Just as your brain is starting to process what is seeing this creature starts roaring at you. If you say you wouldn't be, at the very least, shaking with fear, I have to assume your imagination is broken because that scenario is a literal nightmare (not mine, but someone's).
yes, that actually was creepy/scary. It was also kind of awesome how they held them down with something to and scared them with the roar after. That could scare anyone since you already have the fear embedded in you but being tied up makes you feel vulnerable since you know you can't get away...
That scene was AWESOME to see in the theaters. It's not like the whole building really shook because of Sulley's roar but it sure felt like it. It was so epic.
This movie is soooooo underrated. It's along the same vein as Soul, when they remind you just because your life doesn't go the way you planned, doesn’t make everything you went through is worthless.
I know what you mean. My first year at community college, there were not as many 18 year olds right out of high school as you would've thought. It was mostly people in their 20's or 30's. Plus the occasional person in their 50's or more
ikr, that along with some other comments he made I thought were questionable at best. Didn't really vibe with his humour either, but to each their own ig.
they did recognise the abominable snowman in the first film cuz his banishment is infamous cuz the duo says something like "we dont wanna get banished like the abominable snowman"
They also didn't pay much attention to him, if you had a best friend that you worked with all day, everyday. Would you really remember the guy who you worked with in the mail room, after every promotion and all the years working as a scarer?
You were a third grader in 2013 and you're in college now? Edit: I typed that before doing all the math and now I'm having a crisis cause I feel old LMAO 2013 was 10 years ago 🥲🥲🥲🥲 my god what is time anymore
27:41 That scene is actually genius because it proves that not only did Mike proves that he's capable of scaring a bunch of adults, but he's also scaring the headmaster herself with his tactics. The friggin headmaster, one of the scariest, got scared.
This movie is really underrated especially since it has such an amazing original yet relatable message. How often do we get spoonfed with the whole 'you can do anything as long as you work hard enough or wish/pray/want it hard enough!" Cute, but in real life this simply doesn't work that way. You can study/work/try as hard as you can, if it isn't in the cards for you well...tough shit. Really, it's awfull. But not the end of the world! You might be destined to do something completely different. If only you try and search, and keep a positive mindset. This movie portrays this wonderfully and it's a much more valuable lesson to teach kids instead of the generic shit you hear all the time. Prepares them for real life eyh?
So often we do not judge a movie on its own merits. As Americans we seem to think that every movie has to be better than the last by a huge margin...so instead of trying to enjoy the movie on its own, we continually compare it to the first one. Frankly, I enjoyed this movie for what it was, Mike and Sully as young monsters trying to join the ranks of the Scare squad at Monsters Inc by first attending scare college. SO, we should enjoy what happens to them during their time at college and the story then NOT just keep comparing it to when they are adult monsters, and at the top of their game after working their way to the top at Monsters Inc...it is 2 different stories about the same characters as the protagonists, but different stories none the less. Judge them individually please.....
While I think movies shouldn't be oveerly compared to what came before, they should, in their own way try to reach the same level of quality. Let's take the example of the pirates of the caribbean trilogy. Each of the 3 movies tells a very different kind of story and all 3 are great in their own ways
I'm so glad you watched this one! To me, this movie is just perfection, one of Pixar's best. It's such a comfort movie for me, and the lessons/messages behind it are so perfectly executed. The characters, the humor, the animation, the character arcs and interactions, it's just flawless. Monsters Inc. will forever and always be an absolute top tier classic, no one can deny that. But I don't know, for me personally there's just something about this one that hit so close to home and meant so much more that I can't not adore everything about it.
This movie is so good this is one of the few times where the sequel is on the same level as the original. Also love the conspiracy theory of scare games and squid game😂❤
Dean Hardscrabble honestly checks all the things that make her my monster if she was even though her kid isn't me: 1. Human Centipede (Concept from the very tramautizing horror movie of same name and the movie in general but regular Centipedes were & are scary) 2. Stern teachers. 3. Female Dragons or moreso the kind like Corrupted/Adult Cynder.
Found your videos a while back and I just want you to know that you helped me through a shitty time and watching your reactions just make me so happy :)
Sheesh this movie is so nostalgic, here's a story me and my elementary classmates used to roleplay I am sulley, my best bro is mike, then the rest are their own chosen monsters. Everybreak time we have our own set of games and if a team gets eliminated first, their leader will be buying food for that one team that beat them which is pretty fun cause we win aton of times against the other three groups, but when we loose, as a leader I have to follow the rules that we set which means I will buy food for the team that won, but I'm actually glad that there's an alternative if you can't buy them food, each member of the winning team can give you a dare including the leader. Damn I miss elementary days, now I am in my 1st year college, damn time flies so fast.
The reason Raz was in the CDA uniform was so that Mike and Sully wouldn’t of been able to see what she looked like as they only know her from Monsters Inc.
I think they did know the yeti cuz they mention him as someone who was banished already cuz the interaction was like they didn't say each other's names but they didn't seem like they were strangers either but I do agree it would have been cool to see them acknowledge each other
Watching this, I kept wondering if Seb had ever done a review of "National Lampoon's Animal House" ? Seb - add it to your long list of movies to watch. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
fun fact: They did not forget they were shock. I mean would you be when you meet your first boss long time working before they got promoted. in a snow storm they must have catch up off screen.
So funnily enough Randall is always squinting even in the first movie. And that is explained here since he needs glasses. It also explains how he mistook Mike for Boo when he set up a trap in Boo's room. He also couldn't react quickly enough when Him and Sully suddenly directly bumped into each other when leaving the scare floor at some point.
Such a wonderful movie, teaching children that sometimes it’s better to give up and search for an alternative ways to get what you want in life, very important lesson
Monsters Inc as a kid and Monsters University as an adult Man what a duology (or a reverse one if so inclined) Still get chills when they pull the plan on the adults, still tear up a bit seeing Sully scare Boo by accident
What should I watch next? Smash like for scaring children
I recommend The Promised Neverland, if you're still doing anime (first season is only 12 episodes)
Angry birds
The Adventures of Tintin (2011). definitely, it's awesome and right up your alley!

I agree. It's not the actual appearance for me, it's all of the unknowns that would come from it.
Bro has the lowest scare setting
@@KangarooDude69 I'm referring to reality. Suppose tonight you wake up, no apparent reason, you're just awake. I had a Mike Wazowski piggy bank and that shit was terrifying
Randall’s iconic squint in Monsters Inc being the result of him just needing to wear glasses is funny as hell.
Might also explain why Randall couldn't tell it was Mike and not Boo that goes into her room before kidnapping him, along with it being dark in there.
This movie sends a great message to kids: not everyone can achieve their dreams, but they can still find purpose and be happy doing something else
Very true.
The scene with the adults always gives me chills, I’ve never seen something in a children’s animated movie executed that well.
yes, that actually was creepy/scary. It was also kind of awesome how they held them down with something to and scared them with the roar after. That could scare anyone since you already have the fear embedded in you but being tied up makes you feel vulnerable since you know you can't get away...

Disney really went for horror and cranked it up a few notches in that scene, so masterful and one of the best i’ve seen in an animated movie.
That scene was AWESOME to see in the theaters. It's not like the whole building really shook because of Sulley's roar but it sure felt like it. It was so epic.
Absolutely Sully and Mike going into the human world is the best part of the movie.
This movie is soooooo underrated.
It's along the same vein as Soul, when they remind you just because your life doesn't go the way you planned, doesn’t make everything you went through is worthless.
I want him to react to soul. This movie was great
@ZendexYT damn really? I probably watched it and don’t remember
The scene where sully fills the entire room overload with scream energy from the adults is so awesome just pure chills everytime
No kidding man! I love to see such a well executed plan generate results.
I feel like people forget that any adult can go to college
I liked that kind of representation, it's something you don't see often in media but happens fairly often in real life.

same. As soon as I saw it, I made that conclusion as well. The lesson was also priceless and timeless.
The fact they also made this film for the people who watched the first as a kid who were now entering university. I was one of those
Yep. Definitely better than the first.
they did recognise the abominable snowman in the first film cuz his banishment is infamous cuz the duo says something like "we dont wanna get banished like the abominable snowman"
i do believe you, but do they say it before or after they meet him?
Let's be honest, Mike in real life would be legitimately creepy, like randomly in your room screaming at you.

They also didn't pay much attention to him, if you had a best friend that you worked with all day, everyday. Would you really remember the guy who you worked with in the mail room, after every promotion and all the years working as a scarer?
