Same, although I like Madagascar (second one is better 😅) they aren’t the most QUALITY animated movies, but the cast is hilarious and it only gets better as an adult watching it.

5:27 Yeah, hippos are REALLY strong and tend to be quite aggressive. In Africa, the most dangerous/deadly animal is NOT the lion; it's the hippo. Alex has every reason to be intimidated by Gloria. The sequel is DEFINITELY worth watching for that reason: They go to Africa. The third movie might be a little more bonkers, but I still think it's good and worth a watch! (There's also a movie about just the penguins, which I think Seb would love.)

damn. i did sooo mutch butane gas and MDMA before i ever did LSD or shrooms so i have never experianced Ego death and will never ever be able to experiance it. the butane and MDMA combined with sleepless nights on speed made me see some crazy shit like shadow people. i loved the shadow people so i just wanted that experiance every time but then i stopped seeing them. no mather how fucked up i get no mather how much of anything i take i am no longer able to actually fool my mind in to putting me in a situation where i'm not in controll and fully aware. i'm high but still got that shread of sanity and logic left in the brain that just refuses to leave.
att one point it got so bad i was awake for 8days then consumed 10 pills of MDMA 250-300mg each pill. wish i had done LSD before my brain got to logical :(. i do see shit on acid but it's not really tricking me or scaring me. i always know it's just the acid and that i'm high. last LSD trip was crazy though. took 15tabs and then smoked a joint. it made youtube videos lag like crazy. like the guy in the video would say something then he would reset and say it again then say something from further ahead in the video without context and then he would say the context to that word. like for example. hi hi, nice mine is blue, what colour is your phone? instead of hi what colour is your phone? nice mine is blue

Fun fact : did you know that king julian was only supposed to have two lines but the voice actor thought it would be funny to give him a jamaican accent and more lines. the director's thought that would be a good idea so they re-wrote the script so that's why king julian is one of the most important character in Madagascar.😊

I am a chef and I hold cooking classes with kids at different levels. I had a food testing class for siblings. A four year old and I were discussing which fruits we liked, I said "my favorite fruit is bananas", he replied "I like apples" then his almost three year old brother said excitedly "I like to move it, move it" we all busted out laughter 😂😂😂

@@JOJ0606 The Blues Brothers is lost on most younger folks. They have no idea who any of the cameos are. A few will recognize Aretha Franklin or James Brown, maybe Ray Charles but the rest, not a chance and that is most of the fun with the Blues Brothers. Without knowing all of those artists it's an okay movie but not great.

There are certain spots along the earths orbit that have a bit more clutter of random space rocks so whenever we pass through those we get increased rates of shooting stars for a few days. During one of these meteor showers if you’re out in a rural area without a lot of light pollution, once it’s good and dark you can see a shooting star per minute or two. If there’s any light pollution or if the sun has only recently gone down then it’s only the very brightest of them that are visible.
If you ever come to the USA, come visit us in North Carolina....the NC Zoo is the largest natural habitat zoo in the world. All the animals are either ones that were raised in captivity and couldn't survive in the wild, or were injured at some point and were put here to live with the best medical care. ❤ The zoo also has a wildlife rehab center to those animals that have been injured and can be released back into the wild when they are healed 😊

A penguin’s life is nowhere NEAR boring. YOU imagine having to swim miles in rough, cold waters, making multiple deep dives, searching for and collecting enough food, swimming miles back to your colony, swimming the gauntlet to avoid orcas, leopard seals, or literal giant petrels that will tear you a part.. oh, and then IF you survive all of that, try climbing back to your colony without being smashed into tough rocks, slipping and breaking your neck- with a full belly.
Then, you must find your chick and mate by calling into a crowd of hundreds of thousands to millions of other simultaneously-calling birds. Once you find them, hopefully your partner hasn’t left the nest and egg to be predated on by sheathbills, skuas or caracaras. After that, you have to either swap places with your partner and stay with the chick or do the exact same thing until your chick(s) are big enough!

Loved watching this movie as a kid growing up, I highly recommend all 3 movies to watch as all of them never lose their stride to me. First and second was phenomenal, third was still really good even if not on par with the first two. Saw the third one it theaters when it came out.

@@nathancruz9172 same. My only minor nitpick is that the third movie started to dance more around being more of a kids movie and just slightly losing that flow the first two movies had. Still has the charm for sure and lots of the jokes still land, but I was a bit surprised if the direction the movie took to appeal to much younger audiences. A bold but I guess refreshing take on the series.

This is a movie I watched all the time with the kids I nannied! It's hilarious 😂 I really hope you finish the trilogy and do the other two. I love this one the most but the other two have some great laughs as well though

My dad has been to Kenya several times for pastoral duties, and the locals told him hippos are WAY scarier than lions

Penguins can be surprisingly aggressive though, especially when defending nest or fighting for mates. Even though they live in colonies, penguins have to be careful where they step. Fights get surprisingly bloody. Not so cute on many levels

This movie is absolutely bonkers and has almost no plot whatsoever but it’s still pretty good. I noticed something interesting during Marty’s birthday is that the cake has the number 10 very close together and it kind of looks like the letter “n” used in mathematics to stand for any number. I wonder if that was intentional or not but it’s hilarious either way

Recommend checking out The Wild. Its almost a reverse version of Madagascar until the second film came out then it had more similarity to the Wild. Great cast and its a film that got me into Coldplay.

You should definitely check out the sequels. They're even better than the first one with the 3rd movie being my personal favorite.
The best part of this franchise thou is definitely the Netflix series, All Hail King Julien. It's a prequel series about King Julien's reign as king and it's absolutely fantastic. It's a political satire that half the time is written more for adults than for kids. It satirizes everything from the Trump administration to Starbucks.
If I ever become an abandoned skeleton I'd be honoured if king julian used it as a sceptre
