All references point to it being kind of a gorilla, but the most I can find on Garangolm says it's heavily referential to Frankenstein's monster. So I'd say omnivore, but since it has a property that allows symbiosis with Garangolm and his environment it could be mostly herbivorous. Again all speculation, I'd love to hear other ideas.
@@gojizard704 this actually has more precedent too, since congala and emerald congala eat mushrooms too. Though very capable of eating meat. They stick to that.

('thankfully', also not fit military level. that oceanic robot. just like the passed video ones in this channel here). also, yes', plesiosaurs, but due to (Lore-wise): having tideripper units' inspiration coming from the Mythical loch, and with its synthetic tail being that of like some large, organic whales' instead of a plesiosaur's. so, yeah.
regular jagras are baby great jagras tho, they're the same species
