I am incredibly new to photography. Fashion photography is probably one of the disciplines within it that I find myself the least likely to go towards. And yet every single video I've watched on this channel has been utterly engrossing. Incredible presentation, and incredibly skilled people.

This series is far more interesting and fun than I anticipated as a non-photographer. However, as an artist and painter, you've taught me more about the dynamics of lighting than I learned in classes.

I like a lot the 1st minute, the video, because I like the way Bec moves her hands and articulates her fingers. I like to see the hands/fingers close to the eyes, because they both are the mirror of the soul. I like the video at 7:45, Model and Photographer, together, in action. I like when they both look at each other, designing the pose/lights. I like her pose and eyes at 13:04.

5:28 it is really important that if the model is nailing the shoot that they remember what they are thinking and feeling in that moment. This can be a tool to deploy later on demand. What the feeling is does not have to be shared with the photographer.
7:00 secret photographer click code for white hot smokin shoot! We seem to have a dental click answered from Bec with a ejective alveolar click.

G’day Peter & Bec, love watching you both working. Now, its easy for me to sit back & make comments so I won’t. However I was watching this shoot & when you sprayed the wall it was great, it lead me to thinking that if you made up a corner (wet walls running away from Bec) it would provide a brilliant aspect. I’m no photographer mate , although you could fashion an aspect like what I’ve suggested and make it sing. Love your work guys.

Excellent work, I use to shoot back in the days of 35mm film and had to process it to see the results that were very costly burning through rolls of film. How times have changed and the equipment has changed over the years. Would seem to be a costly venture now days and with retirement around the corner maybe a hobby again.

Peter, Bec!!! I love your work and it's an inspiration to many shoots. I just need to mention, that your background isn't black. So, to new portrait photographers, make note to how dark Bec's outfit is compared to the backdrop. Peter uses great lighting to accentuate the difference. Amazing photographs with different shades of black.
