The funny thing is that he was in a hotel room during this call watching the original version on MTV. He was paid $75,000 to do this remix, it was the first project he had after his separation from manager and associate Gene Griifin.

@virgoice Lady is an amazing musician. I give credit where credit is due. I think she tries to hard to be 'different' and it gets in the way of what she can really do. And Lady can actually sing, unlike a lot of other 'pop' stars. Jane child was very avant-garde and ‘crossed’ over as well, which is something that Madonna has not even done nor has Lady yet to do. That was the point I’m trying to make. Lady still shines and an amazing talented person, however, we already have a “Bjork.” ☺
