How? Explain it. What was so ahead of her time or look for 1989? What TF….her song was about love her only hit I mean. The others were all about boring stuff too. Just not grasping what was so ahead of her time in ANYTHING?

      Is she still performing...

No but not too long ago she contributed with a music video game called Just Dance 2016 and 2017 as well working with charities. And judging by how she was dressed, white business suit, her makeup and bracelets, she is still eccentric and beautiful even though she has aged a bit.

Even though she has freaky hair she was really quite beautiful and WHAT a talent! Jane did things her own way and ever really kissed Record Industry arse. And YEAH once Prince said something nice about your music you know you've got it! RIP Prince!

Thank you. She is so amazing. I just love her so much. She's been such an influence on me as a teen. My heart breaks when I think of her not making music anymore.

Ummm this was IN 1988 so it’s not like she was talking about some new form of music…….

  • @6Haunted-Days

And she was principled cuz she was born Super rich….so….you can be high and mighty when you Have that. But she only had that one hit so I’m sure she didn’t mind no one hearing or caring about her music after that.

😂🤣up and coming? Honey her 2 mins of “fame” came and went by the time view was aired …..such drama….I loved her one hit….but being born rich Ana’s having one hit….does not some megastar make. She couldn’t sing that well….and just listening to her now she’s really full of herself…..her big hit was about falling in love. Oh so groundbreaking 😂 anyways…..yea she came she went in a few months.

Yes but the legacy of this song still lives almost FOUR DECADES LATER. Prince loved her: Chaka wanted to work with her, so your assessment of her means nothing. DWFIL is one of the greatest songs of the 80s. It is, was, and will always be a classic banger.
