"Back to Life, back to Reality". Needed now in 2021 more than ever!
Back to life has always been a quiet anthem in my life. Every time I repair myself after something rigorous or harsh...I will forever recite Back to life and Keep on movin. Rocky himself couldnt have said it any better. True songs.
Would you like to watch my freestyle dance? It's my first time !
Amen
So god damn true!

The story behind this song is incredible. Lead singer died for several minutes and crossed over. While this sounds like a dance track she wrote it as her grateful prayer after receiving life again. Powerful!
A thousand years from now, starships will blast across the cosmos with the crew bopping along to this song piped through the speakers. This music will never ever die.
That is an oddly comforting thought

And I just saw a video of the singer of this song saying that a near death experience caused her to write this amazing song. Said she literally died and came back to life and realized the creator had a purpose for her. No wonder this song speaks to your soul…..
Just came from that video
Just watched the same video
I saw that video clip too!

35 days without a drink! This makes me smile. Grateful as hell to be sober.
I hope you're still sober! Congrats. I know the feeling 💕💕💕

Good job you guys, I'm coming up on a year and a half sober, don't really miss alcohol. Keep it up.
@@jegr3398 Day four again, but I'm here and each time I'm less attached like you would become less attached after each break up with the same toxic partner until one day you're officially done.
Congrats.
This is timeless. Could release today and blow up the charts.
The charts are pretty boring right now so this would be like a shock to the current music system. Lol
I just hope they don't remake it with some lame new replacements
No way. kids don't have the musical taste.
nope. this song wouldn't be popular today. it has absolutely no Auto-Tune, and the women are not only wearing clothes but some of them are displaying actual musical talent. we just can't have that today.
@@thebeardedseeker5633 you've made me laugh out loud. 😄
STILL A MASTERPIECE
I was a young man living in south London when this came out. Now I’m old and living in Australia but it seems like yesterday. I blasted this just now in my car and it still sounds so fresh and relevant. Simply wonderful.

absolute truth to say the least ❤
when we had soul in our soul
Yep
Being black and from the u.s. I always really enjoyed this band because there was something different about them. I mean now obviously I know it's because they're from the UK but they also had like some really connected Afrocentricity to them. It felt very genuine and authentic and not trendy like some of the Afrocentric groups that we had here
Oh, and I know the entire band wasn't black but you know what I meant LOL
Now it's codeine for sum....😲😲😲😲😲😲
Great description !
Miguel Jackson Now we don’t even have a soul.
For those of us here in 2024 i have a fun fact about this song to share: She wrote this song to God after a near death experience where she coded. When she came out of it, she wrote this song to God to help process why she was still alive because she said the place she went to was so beautiful.
Although I was in college when this song originally came out, I was today years old hearing the backstory of why she wrote it. So I had to come and listen to it again, and now that I know, the song is even more beautiful than ever!!!
The lyrics back that
the blacked out woman in the video is death watch it again
