    • @johnrambo1349
      @johnrambo1349 Год назад

      No. How the hell is that doable. The plenum is house at the beginning of the barrel and is block off so air doesn't escape. If you just want more air volume why not just put a freaking bottle underneath the barrel like they showed in the video. Smh

    • @KevinWood44
      @KevinWood44 Год назад

      Higher rings are just as accurate, as long as everything is correct your ballistic software it makes no difference.

    • @kr6dr
      @kr6dr Год назад +1

      @@KevinWood44 of course it doesn’t affect accuracy. It requires compensation for the higher arc between zero points. Time spent calculating hold-over/under is less productive when a quick shot is needed.

    How timely for this video. I was just thinking about buying an FX Panthera and talking with a FX dealer and asking about adding a front bottle. I guess they could not confirm this upgrade till FX's official announcement. The one question I have is that you guys keep referring to the 6mm and 8mm hammer weights that you can install but do you really mean to say that they are 6 and 8 grams weights. Oh just another question do the dealers have the 8mm hammer weights in stock to add when buying the Panthera and or is the weight user installable. Another video to make.

    • @FXAirguns
      @FXAirguns  Год назад +1

      We’ll put out a video in the installation. 6mm and 8mm refer to the length of the head of the hammer weight. And yes dealers should carry this as it’s a common part that works with many of the FX rifles

    Good morning Ernest! Just got the Panthera 600 in .25 as my first FX to get into benchrest with. It came with the reg set at 125 and power wheel at 23. With the pellet liner, I was shooting FX 34 grain pellets at 970😮 Borrow ed a chrony and settled at power wheel setting 17 now shooting at 886. I’m new to PCP’s, and want to make this as efficient as possible. Should I turn the reg down so that I can get the power down and increase the efficiency? Looking for a recommendation on to properly start tuning this. I’m thinking my speed should probably be in the 860-875ish range? What are your thoughts? Also the liner has a twist of 1:24, is there a slower twist I should try and are they available. Didn’t see another option on the FX website. Thank you for your help.

    FX is constantly evolving with technology in airguns. Will they ever create at this time in their evolution as an airgun manufacturer, produce an airgun for the sub 500$ airgun for its community ,or is it all about profit. Don’t get me wrong…FX is top shelf, and has a lot invested in their company. Many of us would love to own one however compared to a Ruger 10-22 that does the same and more for well under 400$ , and all metal, and wood reliably for decades if not centuries…when if ever will FX with all their technical advancements offer the average shooter something in a price range of a similar rimfire that the majority can afford? A 2K $ pellet gun is amazing in what it can do yet it is still just a pellet gun. I don’t care if your shooting slugs or pellets …it is a hell of an investment that does not hold value like a firearm. To buil 15:19 d such a company requires great invest and superior technology, management, and love, and on this level however will that same platform work 30-40 years later like a fire arm? Value for dollar comes to mind and I would much rather have 500$ wither away than 2K$+. Please…I’m not being disrespectful at all. I swear. I love airguns and the shooting sport and will fight to defend them. I’m asking a question that many others may not be comfortable asking in fear of offending those that invested so much for the sake of making money as fast as possible for something that is close to you. Will FX Ever offer we the shooter something like the Nova Vista/AirVenturi Avenger or a Gaunlet 2 kinda thing for under 500$? IMHO the Avenger and Liberty along with the Gaunlet set a certain standard for ALL airguns/PCPs. You all would be doing the airgun community a solid for years of loyalty to make such an airgun. I would love to see what Sweden has to offer per labor rate as say Macau China at Nova Vista and what they could bring to the table for the same money. Challenge on but doubtful it is excepted. Share holders in the end have more say than the consumer. A fast nickel is better than a slow time comes to mind Sir Fredric. I hope you except such a challenge sir. God bless and stay safe y’all. Keep your powder dry and tell no one where you hid it!

Thought the same thing but now believe that FX is right to discourage hackers who may not know how to torque a screw properly from going into a potentially dangerous area - for people's safety and for theirs against litigation. Point in case, recently I had to help a friend remove a broken 3/8 inch BOLT that he had over tightened, the other three bolts were stretched over 1/16 inch! - don't know about you, but I would not feel safe standing near a Panthera he had worked on!
