Now ofc I didn't check out a ton of dispensary I just stopped by one on the way home.

The funny part is I quit smoking Marijuana when Hemp was legalized, That means me and everyone else who started using hemp were NOT using street dealers. That’s amazing right? Well not to Republicans in my state because they banned almost all smokable hemp products (which by the way leaves no smell even closely compared to marijuana)

To answer your question about who needs 12 plants, look up the process for taking plant clones. You need to take a lot of clones to get good offspring. Limiting the quantity of plants is pointless. Some plants can grow to be as large as trees.

1. That is NOT the reason behind the 12 plant limit. Not even close.
2. One can clone from the same lone plant as many times as one prefers. (cloning 1;01)
Each offspring, considering ideal living conditions are met, will be as good as it's parent each and every time. Can even do that with more than one genetic line.
It only starts to become a problem if one clones a plant which has already flowered, although that has been proven to be possible for at least 3 following generations without much change, presuming cloning took place very close to the beginning of the flowering stage.
And it is 6 plants per individual, 12 per household (more than one 21 year old residing within the household). If there is only one legal adult in the home, more than 6 plants could get the person into legal trouble.
12 is not an "arbitrary number". THC is still classified as a drug, regardless of legality. THAT is why 12.

I know it probably has to do with Federal law, but I find it so silly that I can have a basement literally full of Jack Daniels or guns for that matter, but I am only allowed to possess 2.5 ounces of a marijuana. Now, I know nobody is knocking on my door to check my stash (and I don't use marijuana often enough to have that much on me at one time) but it is still so goddamn absurd!

Just grow your own weed. put crushed limestone and elemental sulfur in the soil and a table spoon of molasses in along with each nutrient feeding for max buddage. microbes will break down the sulfur into sulfuric acid. The soil will work better the longer everything is melded. a 4x4 growtent can get you a pound of weed every 4 months.

I am not talking about CBD or Delta 8 I am talking about THC-A flower that see for sell . When you grow cannabis the THC does not exist until you convert the THC-A by using heat. ENTIRELY incorrect. THC is found in the plant while it is alive and growing or sitting in a bag, no heat needed as you incorrectly claimed. From the roots to the tip of the leaves, THC is there. Hence why eating the plant produces similar effects to smoking the plant.

@@theduder2617 You have to use decarboxylation on the flower before it can be consumed. Otherwise you will not feel anything. Decarboxylation is heating up THC-a.. and changes the molecule structure converting it into THC.
With THC-a hemp plants, they are normal cannabis plants. They are harvested early and tested early before developing very much THC during the curing process. So when it is tested, it comes back as what can be defined as hemp. After it is packed.. it slowly dries and some of the THC-a is naturally converted, then when it is heated up and smoked more THC-a is converted into THC. Vaping at a low temperature will convert the most THC-a. I can attest to this from actual experience.
You can extract THC from leaves and stems, but it takes a lot of it because of how little THC they have in them. I feel like you may have some misconceptions about cannabis.
So yes, the farm bill accidently legalized cannabis via loophole. This is what happens when politicians write bills and do very little research on the topic.
