I agree Carolyn. We moved to Florida in 2017 and want out of here for many reasons. Virginia is a retiree friendly state; and, I agree with you on your reasons for considering Virginia, too.

When you say you have stepped outside your bubble? We all have a different bubble. My bubble lives inside a major city. When I step outside I see homelessness, tents, rubbish, hunger, and disrepair. The new norm is living in broken down vehicles while freezing or with heat stroke. Food Lines. Lack of shelters, funds or programs. All of this was written out of the mouths of Wealthy Politicians. Left, Right, or Sideways...that's what I see when I step outside my bubble. I see that there is the Government and then I see that there is The People. They are no longer United.

Trump is not a dictator. You are literally quoting media and it’s sad. If Trump was a dictator, he’d still be in the White House. Make it make sense. We do need to come together and be united though. They hate Trump because he isn’t one of them and he can expose their corruption.
Homelessness has been an issue for many many years. It is an economic issue. Unfortunately there will always be those people that want to live with no constraints. There are mental health issues and there are freedom issues at hand. If we are trying to say that one President is responsible for the homeless and the despair that would be unfair and untrue. Greed has put us here.
I didn't realize how many states used the same names for their town/city until I started traveling.

I used to get a lot of migraines and my doc suggested I try taking magnesium supplements, so I just picked up some off the shelf at WalMart. The first month I had slightly less headaches, the next month it was less, by the third month the number of migraines was half what I was having before. I was really surprised but happy, because my insurance didn't cover the only prescription med that worked for me and they were not cheap. Thankfully my migraines almost went away after I hit menopause. Now I only get them occasionally.

Trump is horrible he wants to be a dictator ( but he is a dick I do agree with that) I do believe that his group is a cult who doesn't what to hear what he's says. The migraines I had were associated with higher estrogen levels - they only started going away when I went through perimenopause. Then they stopped altogether. Also like another lady in here I would take more magnesium supplements because we’re actually lacking what we used to have because of our diets & lack of minerals in the soil. I feel for you because I remember having them every month.
Also, I’m in total agreement with you re the political situation. Most of my family and friends aren’t but I woke up many years ago. Good for you for speaking your mind - that’s more important than it’s ever been, IMHO. ♥️

Omg. I eat gluten free mainly because I have a wheat allergy. I just ate one of those pitas with my dinner. Yum. They do need to be heated up somehow. Either in a toaster oven or just in a pan. Without heating them up they don’t have a good consistency or texture and they break really easily. One of the downsides to gluten free, but I am so grateful for such an abundance in products. Oh Carolyn honey you made me laugh with the I'm so old with it being dark lmao, i turned 60 this year and nestled into a neighborhood by 7 to relax and sleep. I'm also a morning person so i totally relate. Mix it up to stay young ❤❤
Virginia has nice roads, but for anyone traveling through, know that they also have lots of camera speed traps. You'll get the ticket in the mail a month later without ever knowing that they took a picture of your license plate. 🙄 Great video Carolyn. The blue ridge parkway is great in theory but it's long and gets tedious after a while unless you are going to make lots of stops. (just my opinion) I love the idea of never backtracking. Most people don't get it when I say you never go back the way you came.
That's better than having to stop I guess. Getting pulled over is irritating

Thank you for speaking up about the former president. These are frightening times and I wish the younger voters would listen to us baby booms whose father and uncle fought in WW2. They fought for us so we could live without a Hitler ruler. This is not a conspiracy theory about ww2 and the awful things that happened, and THEY DID HAPPEN and we could easily be in situations of Aushwitz right here on American soil..... he is letting us know what he plans to do....

I just noticed the seat cover on your drivers seat. IT is beautiful, where did you get it? I don't like those trash can levers either, I am always afraid there is a bug or spider up there. I travel in a 24ft Class C Minnie Winnie without any slides. These are truly scary times here and abroad.

The times being so different but the same in politics. VA to TN transit were gorgeous with scenery and historic buildings.

I have a slide and that is how they line up on the bottom.It looks like it's not even but that's just how it lays.
That being said .Slides do come with there share of problems.The key is to hold that button in until you hear those motors stop working.Usually around 3 or 4 seconds after slide is in coach.
And do not do use slide on low battery they are hyper sensitive to low voltage.

I was looking at a farm in Maine; quiet, River running under the barn and through a waterwheel. Was all set to look at it, when I discovered Tucker Carlson was buying the property next door. I walked away without seeing the farm.

Prescriptions - I had the exact same issue but I think I was in SD or WY, I forget, out west somewhere. The laws in that state wouldn't allow as many refills as the state I got the prescription in. And it was just thyroid meds, not like a pain killer or highly regulated drug. Bizarre.
We went New York state to Arizona every six months for twelve years and now New York State to So Carolina with our prescriptions at Walgreens with zero problems with refills being honored. Is it a New York state problem with medication refills or just a Wal-Mart problem?
hmmm. I wondered if it was Walmart, but they said it's a NY law. Interesting.
Totally agree about slides. I couldn’t find a class C without a slide when I purchased mine. When you boondock in out of the way places with no cell service you don’t want to get stuck with your slide in the out position. 😳 That’s what concerns me. You can’t drive to seek help. You can’t call…or you have to walk to find a signal. Sure I know your rig could fail to start. And you’d be in the same boat. But you can get towed as long as your slide is in.

Very nice video. Tennessee was one of the states my significant other ken and I wanted to visit but he died Jan 28 2022. Now my camper sets there and that’s it. Cancer is one thing I hate and he only lived 6 months after being diagnosed.
Sorry to hear. The same thing happened to my husband but it was 8 months. Miss our trips in our class c and our sailboat.

That really sucks that the pharmacy Rx does not cross over easily between states! That is the start of between-state politics and gerimandering affecting our lives as US citizens, at least disabling us to travel freely in between states in our own country.

I live out of my truck for 2-3 months straight every year to explore this beautiful country living in NF and BLM. I often pick up subtle details in peoples videos like yours that help me better enjoy the outdoors and nature. Life for me is better when I do things that make me happier without making others unhappy. Be happy, healthy, and don't run out of money.

Just wanted to note that I appreciate you speaking up. I know it's not easy and will result in ridiculous B.S., even though it's 100% verifiably true-no matter what "side" you're on. I'm not a fan of anyone these days, but I've always appreciated (pre-2016 era) that no matter your side, people have been willing to speak up about how bad their "chosen" person is. Does Sadie have any more episodes of car sickness? NY has too many rules about all sorts of things. There are SO MANY national forest, COE sites, water management sites,etc that you can get quite a bit of privacy. An annual national park pass might be worth it. I found state parks are way too expensive in most states.
My possible unique history. I started migraines in the 90’s. I had two children at home, working a 40 hour, a four hour and another income booster. Began migraines and back issues. Prior diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my spine. Went to a chiropractor who did this tapping on my neck. Spine disc collapses and had surgery. Migraines went away and started again in about 2005. Had neck surgery again in 2010 or so. I have not had a migraine again, knock on wood. C4,5,6,7 fused, plate and screws.

How does a billionaire become the leader of people who have nothing and won’t get anything in return for their support? It’s lack of education poor education make’s gullible people.
