You can't beat the beauty of Colorado. I'm an almost a native here, my kids and grandkids, all natives. I moved here when I was 7, I'm now 55. There's nothing like the Rocky Mountains. Oh, watch out for Bigfoot there!

Here in Colorado, we blame the altitude for everything! Stopping and saying “My, what a lovely view!” is a good way to hide the fact that you’re stopping to gasp for air.

I thought u would have my heart rechecked before i would stay in 9200 for an extended period of time, and stay for a couple of days at 6000 before going higher, although i am healthy. And how about the distance to a stroke unit? Far away? Have they a helicopter? (I live on 1200 feet (only) and we have excess to free of charge heli transport to the three main hospitals around. (It is inclunded in the standard health insure everyone has everywhere in europe. ))

SADIE!! I just love watching Sadie. That play bow, Mommy, come play with me .......and watching her run, awesome! To respond to your comment on all the footage but wondering about not talking, go for it and just release the wonderful videography. I like seeing your drive videos on the forest roads with your Class C. Since I'm currently downsizing with plans to purchase a Class C, I was led to your channel. So, the footage of how you are using your rig interest me. I'm going back to view/like your old videos. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels.

Near Wolf Creek, Colorado. Notorious for semi truck drivers who have no clue how to drive the mountains. 41 of them have died on Wolf Creek Pass. It isn't bad. Not like Cabbage in Oregon, the "Sisters" in Wyoming (straight up and down), or my personal favorite: US 550 from Durango to Montrose, Colorado. Did it during the winter with a 53 foot empty trailer. The Colorado State Patrol has to stop the up bound traffic to allow descending semis to use all the road to get down. Lots of avalanche sheds over the road to protect it from getting wiped out. This is one of Carolyn's best videos because it has all the elements of great boondocking. Solitude, some chill in the air (a relief from the 100 degree temps we're suffering when her video came out), and her sheer joy of being in nature away from the rat race. We go off grid to rejuvenate. It's contagious. I must admit even though I've been across most of North America in a semi truck it's not the same. Trucks have to deal with traffic and rarely get the peace which comes with being completely in nature. Carolyn has camped for more than two decades. So she's very experienced. But it's not about how long you've done it but how well. She will be the first to tell you if you enjoy her videos you have "the bug", the inner desire to venture out into the unknown. OMG, waking up to sleet. The chill of early morning. We've made a world way too medicinal at the expense of the pristine.

Oh the memories of Colorado. So beautiful 🥰. In my 1970s hippie youth days, we vacationed every year in Colorado until the late 80s.
The Rocky Mountains, Denver, Boulder, Vail, Aspen, Silverton, Durango and more. We camped in a tent and froze to death almost every night. One July we woke up to 2 inches of snow. Absolutely crazy cold.
We went on the Narrow Gauge in Durango/Silverton. And Colorado was the state I almost died in, literally. We came within inches of falling off a mountain because we took a gravel road up a mountain in our VW Karmann Ghia to see a beautiful lake we saw on a map 🙄. There were insane hairpin curves. Going up was okay, but going down was too steep for our little VW. I'll never forget that day. It's like it happened yesterday, it was so scary. The things I did when I was young, I would never do today.
Thank you for the memories. Colorado is one of our most beautiful states. West Virginia is also absolutely gorgeous, but I've only driven through WV, never vacationed there.
