Finally someone who isn't like "well it definitely has some track potential", people are so annoying when they talk about it like its a beginner bike or a scooter
Nooooo! Don’t give kawa the satisfaction of buying the orange 🍊 they don’t even look like a Kawasaki... like why did they put that stupid colour choice out there lol.
ive noticed you have ridden both the suzuki gsxr 600 and zx6r, im wondering which one to get, im 5'8". i like them both pretty much the same so idk which one go get. feel free to reply with your thoughts thanks!
Same here, man. I went for the cheaper base model just because that Nightshade Teal on it is pure sex. Unfortunately, I won't be home until later this month to pick her up (damned job). Used to have the old 00-02 J model and can't wait to tear up the mountains on this one!
@@sujay750 Agreed. Also, I've gone my whole life never needing ABS on a bike, and fail to see why I would now. It's either an industry/insurance gimmick or people just don't know how to feel out their brakes.
I want one so bad, I do hate that he says the engine breaking is bad though. I have a Ninja 650 and I can’t stand how strong the engine braking is. I really hope it’s not as bad on these.
Is the 636 a zx6r or am I wrong? I'm a newborn in the bike world. And will be buying my first bike this summer. I'm looking into 4 options such as the ninja 650, ninja zx6r, honda cbr 650r (I think that was the name), and the Yamaha yzf r6 in 2020 model for all 4 bikes.
Im also looking into the same options as my first bike. Lots of my buddies that ride (responsibly) say that I should start on this ZX6R as opposed to a 650. The 6R has power modes so you can lower it to abt 80% power until you're more comfortable with going 100. Long story short, you won't outgrow it easily.
Tbh I would start with the 650 ninja , it’s a good beginner bike and you won’t outgrow it for quite a few months. Maybe a year on the 650 have a few scary moments on that don’t be fooled it still dose 125mph and gets there very f’ing quick but the 636 isn’t beginner friendly IMO
Yeah dude, you really can’t beat the 636 if you want a legit sport bike that you can also use for an every day bike. The R6 is it’s only real competition in the super sport 600 class. In my opinion the 636 wins because of the lower price point and it’s versatility. The R6 is more of a dedicated track bike. It’s doesn’t really perform that well in the low/mid range rpms and the seating position is gonna punish you on long rides.
@@sambeezy007 I think if your not used to that aggressive style and it’s your first ride on one deffo would hurt. If your riding 3+ times a week on the 636 you should be used to it and it should not be a problem. Getting better posture on the bike helps too.
It's a lot of power for a starter. Not only that but it cost $10,000 so if you drop it its really going to make you cry. I would start on an older bike for those reasons, maybe an older ninja 650
You’re better off getting a 400 so you have some extra power when you get conformable, people start off on 600s and do fine but I highly don’t recommend it I’m glad I got better at riding before getting mine. There’s alotta power
If you have the money and you can get insured get the 600. Take baby steps with it and you'll be good. The 400 is still a nice bike but has it's limitations and you'll most likely want to upgrade very quickly
Started with a 400 and upgraded to a 636. My 636 isnt for beginner because of the seating position and Power. I recommend a 400 or a 650 (Twin) instead.
@Lexacy Thanks for letting me know. Thought for one horrible moment you were going into the bike dealers and buy this as your first ever ride. Stay safe, enjoy your machine when you get it. Don’t think you’re gonna be disappointed
Great review dude, subbed you!!
Thank you man! Stay safe out there
Best review/reaction ever. Thinking about buying one but still recovering from my bike accident last December
Lol that is kool. The Kawasaki Representative who gave you a run down on the zx6r was at my demo day last year. Really chill dude.
Finally someone who isn't like "well it definitely has some track potential", people are so annoying when they talk about it like its a beginner bike or a scooter
I rode it yesterday at the demo in new Braunfels and I fell in love with it. I'm now looking into getting one. Lol
You totally should ;)
I own a 19 Zx6r and yeah the quick shifter punches you in gear love it!!!
I myself owns a 6r, I agree with everything that he said in this video, keep it up. God bless bro. Ride safe.
Yep I definitely will be buying this bike soon just been shopping around for a new bike.
i really enjoyed this vlog 👍🏼
Just got me one today 🙌🏾
How you like it?! I think itll be my go to next season

Best review EVER !!! i'M 6'2 ALSO BRO !!
I like it that it slows when you let off the throttle because it's good for long down hill grades.
@jawline - zx6r or gsxr600 (2019)? Which one do you prefer and why? Thanks man
new subscriber here. keep it up man.
I’m trying to get that orange zx6r early next year and it looks beautiful and it looks like the ride is perfect

Epic video 👍
600’s love them but throw them around, whereas 1000cc bikes make me more respectful mantra

Very nice bike
hows's your back after a long ride?
Man im getting one soon and cant fudging wait, owning a 400 now
My brother just got one and hes loving it.
I've got a 650, owned it for a year and a half and I'm in love with the ninjas. Can't wait to grab 636 in few months!
So does the 400 allow you to shift without pressing the clutch while holding down the throttle ?
I have a 2018 400 and I have to pull in clutch to shift up and down. However, you do have the anti-slipper clutch which is nice.
Jealous. When I did my demo ride we took mainly back roads and through residential. Never got a real chance to open up the zx6r to even hit 7k.
diamondheat9 feel u there dawg😂
Good video! I’m trying to decide between the zx6r, the cbr600rr, and the cbr1000rr...

This bike is awesome. I still don’t know if I would have this bike because of the sitting position, but...
if youve got a good core strenght it really isn´t too noticable, just test ride it somewhere and ull see
