    GREAT honest video! I think a lot of naysayers, think this bike is supposed to compete with 600 & 700cc middleweights in price and performance. Nope! It's basically a throwback to the early days (60s, 70s & 80s) when small cc race bikes reigned supreme on the race track. Kawasaki saw this as an opportunity to make a limited run of these bikes for a select few who know who it is made for. Is it for a beginner? It could be. They may not make this bike for long, which would make it a collectable in a few yrs, especially if no other manufacturer competes with Kawasaki in this engine size. Currently, no other manufacturer does. Adding this bike to your collection is perfect but don't get it, thinking you'll keep up with CBR 600rr, ZX6r, GSXR 600/750, R6, Aprilia 660 ..etc

      @@sebthegoat301 If you are a new rider, get a smaller CC (250 or 300) used older bike to practice on, for a few thousand bucks ($2 -$3k dollars). If you already know how to ride and this is your 1st bike, get it! It has enough safety tech to help somewhat newer riders. My son now owns one, along with several other much faster bikes. I rode it for the break-in period (500 miles).. and it was pretty docile to me but verrrrry maneuverable, and handles excellent. I also have several faster sport bikes so it was very comfortable and easy to ride in my opinion.

      CBR400RR and a likely CB400RR are coming to compete with this. I'd be very surprised if Yamaha and Suzuki don't make a 300/400/500cc inline 4 to compete with Honda and Kawasaki. Also CFMOTO is making a 500cc inline 4. I think it will be out soon

    • @PopsRacer61
      @PopsRacer61 2 месяца назад +1

      @@MrRainbowSprinkles ..a lot has changed since over 7 months ago when I commented on this! Honda's 400 is definitely coming in 2025.. they just filed for a patent on it's name, a month ago. And CF Moto and other Chinese bikes under 500cc will be coming in 2025 also. Check back in 2026 and you will probably see more changes..

    I always wanted a small cc inline-4 bike for YEARS. Ever since I’ve seen the CBR250RR in videos back in 2008. These are great bikes to mess around on. Not everything is about speed. I definitely want one.

    Just got mine a month ago. First bike I’ve owned and I couldn’t agree more with this review. Sure, I wish it was a little cheaper, but it’s a blast to ride. So worth it in my opinion. I know with a tune you can unlock a lot of power but I don’t even think it’s needed. Could be because I’m a starter but I’m very happy with it as is. It even sounds amazing!!

    This bike turns into a different bike at 11k. You just need not to be afraid to wind it out. It's like a 2 cycle up in the top end. I love mine in stock form. I'll get it tuned to get the extra 25 hp out of it.

      My son had one delivered to my house in July. I rode it around for a wk until he came and got it. I love the bike, it almost feels like a toy (which I kinda like about it). I already own a '18 Ninja 650 & '23 CBR 650... so there is quite a difference between them. My son also has a '09 R6 that I'll be restoring to showroom condition this winter, so he wanted something like the XZ 4rr for the streets and occasional track day!

    Nice review. The top-end power is there, just neutered for the US market with electronics. The ZX4R will accelerate like a true super sport between 10K and the redline with an ecu tune. Add the quick shifter and you will be one happy rider.
