finally somebody uploaded the better version of the intro, i thought i was going crazy remembering lonely boy being the intro song but because all the other youtubers where using streamer mode
Gotta say, steamer mode has some really good songs, like for me, In A Blink is better than The Perfect Drug, but on the other hand, I like Lonely Boy better than The Beacon
Hear me out… i liked the Streamer mode originally sound track but oh my fucking god Lonely boy goes so damn hard if it were a Rockstar, (see what i did there) they’d shred their guitar so damn hard it falls apart
don't you dare to turn on the streamer mode it will ruined our licensed music to mute because that would not fit the mood of hi-fi rush because i'm not a livestreamer anymore.
2:43 - Woah, that's a _very_ subtle detail. The whole cutscene doesn't follow the song's beat, but for a brief moment the robot moves to the beat of the music just after the MP3 player pulses. It's _only_ during that moment too.
I think chai's footsteps at 1:01 are also synchronized to the beat, but that's just a standard effect in a lot of similar scenes in animated media to make footsteps sync with the BPM of the background music, it's not exclusive to this game.
@@JNSStudios2 it seems to follow the song in the same way most other media with licenced background music does, syncing certain actions with swells in the music and stuff like that.

I love that Vandelay technically created Chai with the mp3 heart, thus kicking off the events of the game lol.
Ironic
Well deserved game award win. The Audio Design was fire.

Facts 🔥
An opening with streamer mode off is awesome
i hate streamers when they turn off the licensed music just to ruined our day of music
@@notkimpine To be fair, they kinda need to in order to prevent getting their streams struck down lol.
@@notkimpinethe original ost is fantastic too
I still couldn't believe he was 25. I thought he was 17 or a teenager.
he gotta be an orphan cause there’s no way his parents would let him out in the wild like that
@@mocanutmilk Nah hes just like that. Childlike and free
Hes literally me
As a 30-year-old, a.k.a. someone who was 25 recently enough to remember but distant enough to see it clear, they're basically the same.
As a 25 year old myself i'm about the same as i was at 17 but with more hair loss
We need more games that look and feel like music videos
Hi-Fi Rush Need For Speed The Run and My Summer Car Radio CD1
This game was a banger
Really should finish this game

BLACK KEYSSS WHOOOO
This song isn’t bad…. Not a bad song at all…
But…
The Beacon is the one that gets you going….
imo Lonely Boy gets me going just a bit harder
Meh the beacon is a better opening song.

I’m 90% sure this cutscene still follows the rhythm, but it certainly doesnt feel as emphasized as it does for the rest of the game.

Tango were too good and pure for Microsoft.
And that why they got bought out
I like how the intro to the song was drawn out as they were talking.
I had watched this damn cutscene too many times because the audio didn't work right.
I hear this song for years and I didn't know it was in Hi-Fi Rush, if fits the game so well!! Made me even more interested in the game
