    I have a 2005 Accord V6 and the odometer gauge is showing "check fuel cap". Will replacing this fix it??

    is this an s2000 engine ? i have an 04 accord 2.4 l vtec ive replaced my purge valve solenoid still no help with code still has that small rough idle and fuel smell when first starting the only other thing i can think of is the canister vent valve solenoid but for the life of me can not find its location no vid help for this either smh

      That’s the 2010 accord j35Z2 or z3 if it’s the 6 speed manual

      @@chewdoobautomotivedetailtm2883 the square box under the purge solenoid, I can’t find any information on it to replace it. The one on websites is a different design

    Replaced mine twice and both times lasted about 4-6 month and check engine light came on with same error. Any suggestions?

      Rubber hose

      @@Fredrocksem1990 incorrect. Go to any honda parts dealer don't just get any rubber hose.

      Yes but just run a diagnostic with a scanner.

    Known flaw for the check gas cap message on most odyssey and accord models and other ones too you can get a check engine light or not get it smoked if you have a check engine light for evap

      I hope you reply quick! Is this worth replacing or a glitch? I'm picking a replacement up tomorrow and want to make sure it's worth replacing. If it fixes the check gas cap message that would be amazing too!
