Is their a way to check of its the canister or the sensor solenoid thats bad ?
Can you make a video for the 2013-2017 Honda Accord, 2.4L, 4 cylinder engine. Thanks
Would this fix code P145C and P0497? Also, is it the same part and location for 2008 4cylinder Accord? Thanks.
did u fix it ?
@@aerospaceandmathematics6446 yes, replacing the parts fixed it.
@@JC-ov5pt did you change bother to canister purge solenoid AND purge valve or just the canister?
@@aerospaceandmathematics6446 i changed both. There’s another youtube video I found helpful.
@@JC-ov5pt thank you brother
Do you have a video or steps on the self test?
Great video man. And what issue did this car have?
Are you saving a lot more gas? Or was this for a customer?
I have a 2005 Accord V6 and the odometer gauge is showing "check fuel cap". Will replacing this fix it??
Thank you for this, been looking for a video on this specific accord and engine.
Do you have a solution on how too get the bracket off the purge valve solenoid because the bolts are hard too get off
Try some WD-40
Does anyone know the part number? Can’t find the right number anywhere
is this an s2000 engine ? i have an 04 accord 2.4 l vtec ive replaced my purge valve solenoid still no help with code still has that small rough idle and fuel smell when first starting the only other thing i can think of is the canister vent valve solenoid but for the life of me can not find its location no vid help for this either smh
That’s the 2010 accord j35Z2 or z3 if it’s the 6 speed manual
What's the square ⬛ one under that solenoid you replaced
I’m also looking for this answer. Did you ever find out?
@@recbone1999 I don't remember what I was referring too did fix it 4hem my cats shit the bed 😭
@@chewdoobautomotivedetailtm2883 the square box under the purge solenoid, I can’t find any information on it to replace it. The one on websites is a different design
So when I finish installing it Thts it or do I do something else after installing it to really know if it made a difference
What was the issue in the first place?
Can they be cleaned
Replaced mine twice and both times lasted about 4-6 month and check engine light came on with same error. Any suggestions?
Checked gas cap?
@@itsyah yeah first thing I did. Ended up being dirt in solenoid canister
@@SHMlKEDid you purchase a new solenoid canister or cleaned it out?
@@tyswervo922 I wouldn't fix myself it's a pretty big job
@@SHMlKE did you purchase a new solenoid canister or you cleaned out the one that had dirt in it
What's that PART NUMBER ASAP PLEASE CAN'T PASS INSPECTION IN 7 DAYS
@anyone I broke the hoses and wondering what kind of hose I need to replace?
Rubber hose
@@Fredrocksem1990 incorrect. Go to any honda parts dealer don't just get any rubber hose.
That first hose that was removed. What's it called? I need it.
Could this be the cause of how fast my gas is used
Yes but just run a diagnostic with a scanner.
Known flaw for the check gas cap message on most odyssey and accord models and other ones too you can get a check engine light or not get it smoked if you have a check engine light for evap
I hope you reply quick! Is this worth replacing or a glitch? I'm picking a replacement up tomorrow and want to make sure it's worth replacing. If it fixes the check gas cap message that would be amazing too!
P2422?
I got code P0443 even after I replaced the that any help?
Online
Thank you Sr, very helpful your video.
Thank you for this helpful video. I’m about to change mine on my Honda now.
Can any one tell me what the black plastic box that this piece is connected to? I broke off the plastic nipple that the line attaches to.
Same, did you find out what it was called?
I think that's the charcoal canister
❤
Great !
Just take the whole car apart.
