I would say that the anime is good. Most of the monsters in this show is CGI but its good CGI they look really terrifying. the first half of this show has random CGI scenes but after it got on hiatus the random CGI scenes were gone and the people who says the CGI monsters are trash i am pretty sure they havent even the watched the show or they just hate CGI outright. the characters especially the MC i like him

Generally speaking, I like the anime a good bit. Some of the early episodes have jarring CGI, but I was okay with that. The story itself is great and the characters are consistent throughout the anime (so far).
Animation isn’t great… but I’m loving the story. Has me contemplating getting into the LN series eventually (but my “to-read” list is already quite long).

I parry everything - a same season anime with Failure Frame has an awesome opening song too. And the ending song is even better.
