The singer for Tokyo Ghoul's OP was actually the guitarist as well, crazy impressive. I recommend you listen to the First Take or live version of it as well. It was once regarded as the "anime anthem" because of how good it was, and the full version somehow makes it even better.
@@xAglet Dude, the only anime anthem that exists and will exist is the opening of evangelion “Zankoku na Tenshi no Tēze” and one that comes close would be “Pegasus fantasy” or “Chala head chala” but the tokyo ghoul one is not even close.
If there is one opening you should listen the full version of than its the Tokyo Ghoul one. The full opening of Tokyo Ghoul is something everyone should at least listen to once. I say full because anime openings are the short versions of the songs (1 minute 30 seconds) and the full versions are 3 to 4 minutes
You HAVE to listen to "TK Unravel First Take", thats the first take of the Tokyo Ghoul opening. You are gonna have shivers from how incredible the singer is.
@@AnimeKenTV Yes! I raise. TK is an amazing artist (also a guitarist and composer). Be sure to check out "first death" (end8 Chainsaw Man) by him. But it's worth the whole song at once. The opening versions are so short. First op of Tokyo Ghoul is very depressing, but this one may be more to your taste because it is very dynamic and complex. Overall, I recommend checking out TK from Ling Tosite Sigure's discography/YT official channel.
Apologies for the super long comment in advance :/ Honestly you'll find the industry part of anime songs fascinating. So, most studios are affiliated to a production company which then goes to different labels where these artists are. So yeah, most of the artists that perform these are actual popular musicians/groups. As far as I know, the production companies go to the label/artist and they pretty much tell them about the project they're working on; then the artists make a proposal of a song and sometimes the producers ask for some changes on the lyrics and stuff to fit the anime. They create a full song and the producers prepare a 1:30-min version that they can put as opening/ending theme alongside some animation sequence which are usually outsorced by an entirely different studio or animation teams not necessarily related to the production of the series which, I've also heard, can be very good entry points for new animators into the industry. There's also some minor instances of voice actors who are able to sing being tasked with performing the opening/ending themes since most, if not all, VAs are part of a talent agency that sometimes requires them to be multi-talented artists. Is pretty rare, but some VA-performed songs can go absurdly popular sometimes that it pretty much opens up the opportunity for VAs to engage in an entirely different industry 😂. An example that instantly comes to mind would be Renai Circulation, one of Bakemonogatari's openings performed by Kana Hanazawa (greatly recommended btw). Also, yes, some series can have multiple opening/ending themes. When a series gets decently popular, it is common for it to be renovated for a new season/story arc/cour (depending on the production). (Small parenthesis to explain this part) - most anime series are produced on a seasonal basis so you can expect a 11-13 episode season. When a series is scheduled to run for more than one season that's when cours come into place. Usually, a long anime season runs for two seasons (20-25 episodes) so, depending on the production, it is divided into two 10-13-episode cours that can be consecutive (with a 1-2 week break between each cour), or far apart (with an entire season or even longer in betweens, and commonly used for marketing purposes). Last but not least would be arcs which were most commonly used in production of long-running weekly series (the obvious example being One Piece). But recently, a lot of series have been dividing into "seasonal arcs" (idk how to call them) which are pretty much normal seasons but are named arcs just for marketing purposes most of the time. In the anime industry is a very common practice to have entirely new opening/ending themes for these different types of renovations which is pretty unusual and mind-blowing compared to the american TV industry where opening/ending sequences are are either 10-15 seconds long or non existent and pretty forgettable outside of some minor exceptions. As I mentioned, most anime are produced on a seasonal basis so, if you keep reacting to some more openings make sure to check out the seasonals about every 3 months (the summer season just started 2-3 weeks ago). Again, sorry for the longass comment 😂
Daaaang. Thank you for this detailed breakdown. I really appreciate the time you took to lay this all out. I really appreciate this. Thank you for the insight.
With apologies, some minor corrections: 1) VA's singing the opening and ending themes is quite common, even in modern anime. There are numerous examples available, but here's an easy four: _Neon Genesis Evangelion's_ ED has 26 variations from different combinations of the VAs, most of the _-Monogatari_ openings are sung by the arc's focus character VA, _K-ON's_ OPs and EDs are sung by 2 of the VAs, and finally pretty much anything Takahashi Rie is in has the OP and/or ED sung by her. That said, at one time it was very common to just pick an existing song and use that for the opening, regardless of whether or not it really had anything to do with the show. E.g. Coppelia no Hitsugi by Ali Project, used for the OP of _Noir_ but released 2 years before the anime was produced. This practice has mostly died off, starting around the mid-1990s, and most of the songs are now purpose-built for the shows. 2) "Cours" is a French word that means "course". A loanword in Japanese, it's a broadcasting term with the meaning of "quarter year", and while it does equate to climate seasons, it does not correlate well with show seasons. Cours are always 3 months long, and so normally run 10-13 episodes, but a season in the show sense is usually an unbroken broadcasting run. For example, _Neon Genesis Evangelion_ (26 episodes), _Attack on Titan_ S1 (25 Episodes), and _Sword Art Online_ S1 and S2 (25 and 24 episodes, respectively) are all a single show season but 2 broadcasting cours, and similar to western shows these each represent distinct sections of the story. Shows like _Silver Spoon_ and _Spy x Family_ , meanwhile, have 2 single-cours seasons. Notably, though _Silver Spoon_ does not have a split in it's story, so it may be more properly considered a split-cour season, an increasingly common variation in which a single season of a show is split in to two or more cours with an entire cours in between each broadcast cours, commonly cited as a production measure intended to relieve pressure on the production studios, though that wasn't yet the case when _Silver Spoon_ was made. There are also shorter shows, but these are OVAs (Original Video Animation) rather than broadcast tv; the Japanese equivalent of Direct-to-Video but without the corresponding poor quality and cash-grabbiness that the Direct-to-Video represents in the US. Where things get weird is in the other direction: more traditionally formatted stories often have seasons that run more than two cours because they are set to follow complete story arcs, this is more common in older shows due to the story origins: Recent shows have taken to adapting light novels, which often contain complete story arcs in just a few volumes, leading to the seasonal arcs mentioned above, where as older shows were most commonly adaptations from manga that was published a chapter at a time, weekly or monthly, following either a story-of-the-week style format or something more akin to a soap opera. In fact, the vast majority of older anime were attempts to boost manga sales, and typically only adapted around half of the manga's story so you'd have to go buy the tankoban (collected chapters of the manga published in book form). This, incidentally, is why some anime contain so many filler episodes: the anime was greenlit "too early", and was running ahead of what the base story had published. Examples of shows with these longer seasons include _One Piece_ , with show seasons that have run back to back continuously since 1999 and have variable lengths ranging from the shortest 12th season at 14 episodes to the longest so far 20th season at 197 episodes; _Dragon Ball Super_ , which also ran continuously with seasons corresponding to story arc and ranging from 9 to 55 episodes; and also _Naruto_ and the first 16 seasons of _Bleach_ . Lastly, some shows skip all of these distinctions and simply run continuously without any regard for cours, seasons, or arcs. _Ranma 1/2_ and _Full Metal Alchemist_ both ran this way. 3) (This isn't an error, just an expansion): it is effectively routine to get a new opening and closing sequence and accompanying song with each show season, and sometimes more frequently if the show has shorter story arcs (like many light novel adaptations) or the producers just felt like changing it more often (e.g. _Chainsaw Man_ has a different ending theme for each of its 12 episodes) although not every show does this ( _Sazae-San_ , which has been in continuous production since 1969, has never changed its opening or ending theme).
You will definetly dig what the band Coldrain has done for anime openings. I would check out: Fire Force opening 2 - Mayday Rainbow opening - We're not Alone Ninja Kamui opening - VENGEANCE Super excited to see the future of this channel, you are a super cool dude.

One thing about anime Ops that doesn't get explained is that the reason there are so many is because anime is handled in cours/seasons of usually around 12 episodes, so usually after around 12 or so episodes if the anime is longer (like FMA Brotherhood at 64 eps so 5 ops) they break up the cours by opening and ending songs. That is why you see some shows having over 10 or more ops just due to how many eps there are. If I could recommend a show from what ops you've seen I would say Demon Slayer or FMA Brotherhood are fantastic places to start, they are usually among my list of anime to introduce people to the medium. FMA Brotherhood being the one I recommend more just because it is already done, it really high quality with a GREAT ending probably one of the most complete in anime, the dub is fantastic for those who don't like subs, and it does a good job with introducing people to some tropes really well.
I recommend you to listen to: - Fate/stay night: Unlimited blade works opening 2 - "Brave Shine" by Aimer - Domestic Girlfriend opening - Deadman Wonderland opening Can't wait for the next video, peace
loved your reactions, definitely subscribed, cant wait for more. also each op does have a full song but its cut down to 1:30. and some shows do have multiple ops depending on how long the show is
@@AnimeKenTV yeah, anime tend to on average introduce new ops every 12ish episodes or every season, they also have ending songs that change with the opening songs. some songs are made specifically for the shows and some are just genuine songs
Mashle S2 OP and Oshi no Ko S1 OP are regarded as the best anime openings of 2024 and 2023, respectively. I'd recommend those as they are absolute bangers. Oshi no ko's even made it onto the #1 spot on the Billboard top 100 excluding the U.S. and #7 if the U.S. was included.
Oh hi! New subscriber here, you just picked three of my most favourite openings to react to here, and I don't really love music reactions very much, but I just absolutely loved your reaction! Thank you! :)
I would encourage you to check out the Unravel (Tokyo Ghoul opening) cover by Ado, especially live version. Although it's very faithful cover in terms of instrumentals it evokes totally different emotions. TK (original singer) is great, but I personally think Ado just suits the song better. She also made the opening for Spy x Family season 2 "Kura Kura" and songs for One Piece Film: Red. Lastly, I'd recommend checking out full versions of opening songs, they're usually better.
I reccomend Ado. Is not about anime openings (per se), but just an amazing japanese singer. A few of my favorite songs would be: Crime and punishment Gira gira RuLe
Really wish to see more openings in every video you'll post in the future. I don't mind long videos at all. If you ever wish to just find some more recommendations, I'm here!

i love the guitar of the american "anime" called RWBY, songs like "this will be the day", "armed and ready", "bad luck charm" and "i may fall" are just ON POINT to rock n roll ❤️🔥🇧🇷
I did not see it in the top comments so I will say that with op (opening song) there are also ending songs with each anime. They are more winding down songs so not usually as hype.
Hey man, great reaction. Really loved your breakdown of the songs and how you reacted to each one. Couple of opening suggestions which I find musically really interesting: Erased op1 (op being opening in case you are unfamiliar), Jujutsu Kaisen op 3, Frieren op2, Chainsaw Man op1, One Piece op 26 and Call of the night op1. These are some of my personal favourites and I find them to be fairly popular (except for the last one). Keep it brother! 💪
Some anime Openings I recommend: · Noragami Aragoto OP ("Kyouran Hey Kids" by THE ORAL CIGARETTES) · Heavenly Delusion OP ("Innocent Arrogance" by BiSH) · Kengan Ashura Season 2 OP ("RED" by SiM) · Apothecary Diaries OP ("be a flower" by Ryokuoushoku Shakai) · Chainsawman 2nd ED ("Time Left" by ZUTOMAYO) >>> this one is not an Opening but ending theme, and it's really good in terms of the instrumentation IMO
Soul land opening is just ABSOLUTELY AMAZING -> "Brake the Cocoon" by Angela Zhang (this is one hell of an intro song) Log Horizon is also amazing -> "Database" by Man with a Mission and "Inuyashiki" with same band making the music - "Hero" by Man with a Mission
anime series total lengths: OVAs/anime-films-movies: 1-4 episodes/OVAs very short: ~ 3-6 episodes short: ~ 12 episodes medium: ~ 24-30 episodes long: ~ 50-60 episodes very long: 100+ episodes a "season" can be the 'short' (~12 episodes) or 'medium' (~ 24-30 episodes), depending on the anime series' total length size and/or whether it's old (you see more of the 'medium' = ~ 24-30 episodes for their seasons, usually only having 2 seasons in total) vs new anime (usually broken up into the 'short' = ~ 12 episodes, for its seasons, though maybe the 'very long' anime series, it might have its seasons broken up into the medium = ~ 24-30 episodes) each "season" usually has its (a) own (new): op and ed (an episode is usually ~30 mins, but sometimes an episode is ~60 mins or ~15 mins)
OVAs can be whatever episodes, some has 12 just like a regular season. Original Video Anime just means that it's not aired in TV. However, most of the time it's just a side story content so it usually has short episodes.
Excellent first video! Looking forward to more! And I'm assuming you've been told this 1000x by now in the comments, but each "season" (usually 10-13 episodes) tends to have a new opening song with new visuals.
5:13 the amount of openings normally depends on the number of episodes the anime has. Most anime have 12 episodes but ocasionally there's some with 24 or so and the opening changes on the midway point. Also every season has a different opening.
Also you should react to another song by the same artist that sung the Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood opening, her name is Yui. The song is from the first ending of Bleach, and it's called Life is Like a Boat by Yui.
some artist specifically make songs for animes but even than, the are shortened to fit the opening. means you would find a full version to almost every anime opening out there. And if you like any opening I recommend listening to the full versions, ;) can't even count, how many different full versions I've got in my playlist, while Eve (also made a few opening and ending songs) is definitely my most favorite japanese singer and songwriter^^
When the show goes to a series of episodes the opening and closing songs change the numbering is just there for easy reference. I like the “Diver - Nico touches the walls”
this is ur first video and started killing it, there is a journey and you will not regret the wonders of music in anime openings and endings i cant wait for you to check the other ones and attack on titan and vinland saga im hyped
The artists create a full song for the anime and then it gets edited down to a minute twenty. But yes they do have a full length version. Usually, each season has one or two different openings depending on whether the season has one or two parts.
47k views in your first vid? Huge Congratulations man. I love watching reactions, and I think you succeed because your versatility, doing a quick reaction while you make a few comments is what people love to see. Greetings from Argentina
Songs are generally made for the specific anime. Sometimes they have extended versions. Anime in general often change the opening and ending songs per season. Tokyo Ghoul was popular, but didn’t follow the source material. So it kinda went the wayside. Check out the underrated Noragami opening 1, Fire force first season opening and closing and blood blockade battlefront opening 1.
if you want your mind blown, react to ado unravel live performance, its a cover of the last song you reacted to but imo it is the best version of the song and hearing it performed live will blow ur mind
most anime use a different opening and ending for each season. Longer shows might use a different opening for each story arc or split the story arc into multiple openings. Long running shows with progressing plot do this because the opening sequences tease relevant future plot points and characters and need to be updated as the story progresses.
I always wanted to hear a pro commentary on how Tokyo Ghoul's theme builds up. And I mean NOT the whispering part, but that...idk... triplefold approach, as if the melody opens ups a few times wider and wider, in just a few seconds foolling you multiple times, that it's already crescendo and just keep banging harder again
I would check out the Overlord openings, all 4 are really good and have great guitar parts. The most technical opening I've heard is the one from Land of the Lustrous. I'd watch it if you want to be blown away by insane rhythms and parts working together, but I don't find it as catchy as most others even if it is insanely impressive.
You should react to the music video for the song Nameless Name by Togenashi Togeari, which an inserted song in an anime called Girls Band Cry, the music video is a different version of visuals than in the anime itself, but it is the full song contrary to in the anime. It's a girls band anime full CGI, so it's really different than a lot of anime which are mostly 2D animation.
Check out the openings from the animes Rainbow - You're not alone, Fire Force - Mayday and Bastard!! - Bloody Power Fame. They're all from the metal Band coldrain.
90% of anime intros are actual singles promoting both artist and anime so full songs exists on regular artist album in full version often promoting the anime, and anime almost always have artist promotion in square L brackets in roman alphabet so it is easier to catch in the credits plus often you get sponsor break in tv broadcast "kono bango ni wa ...." where sponsor is the record label providing the song, either sony music or pony canyon or someone else
Tokyo Ghoul's Unravel was released July 23, 2014 which makes the song 10 years old now, but when it comes to Anime Song Tier List, it's always on the Top 5/10 spot and has never been dethroned. Highly recommended you listen to the full version of the song 😊
Yes! I heard about Vineland and want to try and drive a few be sitting Manga reading. I love Viking stuff and it was recommended to me as a Manga must read.
There's so many amazing anime openings and endings. There's everything, like sometimes great songs in not so great anime and not so great song in great anime. I recommend that you check out the full versions of the songs, because there's usually a lot that can't fit into 1:30.
Yes, multiple openings is a common thing in anime. Usually every new season gets a new opening. Sometimes there are two openings per season to separate the story arcs. Arc separation via opening also applies to the series with a lot of episodes. For example, Naruto Shippuden has 500 episodes and 20 openings. However in these cases this can also be done simply to entertain viewers. As for recommendations: Vinland Saga, Cowboy bebop, Trigun (both original and Stampede) Jujutsu Kaisen, JoJo's bizarre adventures and Attack on titan
@@AnimeKenTV some of my fav song which I think you may like are Brave Shine (Fate stay night ubw op2) Let Me Hear (Parasite op) and Kaikai Kitan (jjk op1)

Every anime usually has a new opening and ending every season, which is usually 11-13 episodes (1 cour). Some shows that are longer (2 cour) at 24-26 episodes end up having a new opening and ending on the next episode after the 1st cour to keep with the theme. On some rare occasions, some shows do this on 6 episodes / mid season if the story is progressing fast. @4:45 - the songs are usually full length songs, however for the shows they take like 1:30 - 2mins worth of it kind of like real tv shows only using riffs / chorus of songs. You can pretty much find out any song from an opening / ending and you will find a full length song by an actual metal / pop or other artist that has a music video like any other song.
Most anime opening are the shortened version of a full song, highly recommend you react to the full songs. Some of those songs were specially made for that anime, some aren't.
I think you will really like Naruto Ending 5. most newcomers that react to anime songs don't usually hear/react to endings unless they actually watch the shows and that's a shame couse there are a lot of great ending songs that never get reacted to. so I really recommend to give more ending a fair chance (not just the one I recomended)
Well if you want some recommendations: I personally think the full songs are always the best, but I'll limit myself to stuff with openings (shorter versions too) here Diver (Opening 8 of Naruto Shippuden) Artist: NICO Touches the Walls Absolute zero (Openin 1 of Wind Breaker) Artist: Natori Yoru wa Nemurerukai? The opening versions are so short. First op of Tokyo Ghoul is very depressing, but this one may be more to your taste because it is very dynamic and complex.
Overall, I recommend checking out TK from Ling Tosite Sigure's discography/YT official channel.
Some good metal op are
Vinland saga op 1, 2 & 4
And “Under the tree” & “The rumbling” both by SIM from Attack on titan.
Nice!

Apologies for the super long comment in advance :/
Honestly you'll find the industry part of anime songs fascinating.
Yeah this is a hell of a good explanation to get a good grasp of everything
With apologies, some minor corrections:
1) VA's singing the opening and ending themes is quite common, even in modern anime.
I would check out:
Fire Force opening 2 - Mayday
Rainbow opening - We're not Alone
Ninja Kamui opening - VENGEANCE

Ah that makes sense
well said, Full metal alchemist brotherhood is the perfect entry to the anime world.
@@fernandaoXD It is usually the first one I will recommend, it is just too perfect to get people started.
You have a great attitude going into this, really fun to watch im here for more 😁
Thank you so much 😁
The singer for Tokyo ghoul op is also the guitarist btw
You should check out more of his stuff like psycho pass op1 and op3 and chainsaw man ending 8

I second this List, it got a good Variaty of Artists with Miyavi, Queen Bee, Kana-Boon, Bish, Survive said the Prophet, King Gnu and Vaundy!
Heavenly Delusion OP hits so hard, I wouldn't mind the ep8 version of the ending which is so good in my opinion also.
I recommend you to listen to:
- Fate/stay night: Unlimited blade works opening 2 - "Brave Shine" by Aimer
- Domestic Girlfriend opening
- Deadman Wonderland opening
Can't wait for the next video, peace
Nice! I’ll add them to the list. Gonna have a lot of reaction videos lol
Domestic Girlfriend is SO good.
loved your reactions, definitely subscribed, cant wait for more. also each op does have a full song but its cut down to 1:30. and some shows do have multiple ops depending on how long the show is
Thank you for the support! Welcome! This is so cool. #1 Sub!
And thank you for the information. I didn’t know that.
You will completely LOVE Minami - waiting for the rain. It's an OP but I forgot the name of the anime. I became a fan of her ever since.
The Anime is called "Domestic Girlfriend" and yes Minami is a Treasure.
amazing editing btw!
🙏
I reccomend Ado. Is not about anime openings (per se), but just an amazing japanese singer. A few of my favorite songs would be:
Crime and punishment
Gira gira
RuLe
Really wish to see more openings in every video you'll post in the future. I don't mind long videos at all. If you ever wish to just find some more recommendations, I'm here!
Awesome, thank you 🙏
I haven't noticed anyone else say it but I really appreciate your editing, it makes watching the vid even more enjoyable. Can't wait to watch more, earned a Sub!
I love channels like this that give a musicians perspective on these kinds of things. You got a sub from me 😁
Thank you! Welcome!
Done subscribed bro. Keep on doing these reactions. I'll support you😊❤. Love from Malaysia❤
i love the guitar of the american "anime" called RWBY, songs like "this will be the day", "armed and ready", "bad luck charm" and "i may fall" are just ON POINT to rock n roll ❤️🔥🇧🇷
I did not see it in the top comments so I will say that with op (opening song) there are also ending songs with each anime. They are more winding down songs so not usually as hype.
Paradox - Survive Said the Prophet
Under the Tree - Sim
👍
Hey man, great reaction. Really loved your breakdown of the songs and how you reacted to each one.
Couple of opening suggestions which I find musically really interesting: Erased op1 (op being opening in case you are unfamiliar), Jujutsu Kaisen op 3, Frieren op2, Chainsaw Man op1, One Piece op 26 and Call of the night op1. These are some of my personal favourites and I find them to be fairly popular (except for the last one). Keep it brother! 💪
Some anime Openings I recommend:
· Noragami Aragoto OP ("Kyouran Hey Kids" by THE ORAL CIGARETTES)
· Heavenly Delusion OP ("Innocent Arrogance" by BiSH)
· Kengan Ashura Season 2 OP ("RED" by SiM)
· Apothecary Diaries OP ("be a flower" by Ryokuoushoku Shakai)
· Chainsawman 2nd ED ("Time Left" by ZUTOMAYO) >>> this one is not an Opening but ending theme, and it's really good in terms of the instrumentation IMO
Man i love this reactions, keep doing this :D.
Soul land opening is just ABSOLUTELY AMAZING -> "Brake the Cocoon" by Angela Zhang (this is one hell of an intro song)
Log Horizon is also amazing -> "Database" by Man with a Mission
and "Inuyashiki" with same band making the music - "Hero" by Man with a Mission
anime series total lengths:
OVAs/anime-films-movies: 1-4 episodes/OVAs
very short: ~ 3-6 episodes
short: ~ 12 episodes
medium: ~ 24-30 episodes
long: ~ 50-60 episodes
very long: 100+ episodes
a "season" can be the 'short' (~12 episodes) or 'medium' (~ 24-30 episodes), depending on the anime series' total length size and/or whether it's old (you see more of the 'medium' = ~ 24-30 episodes for their seasons, usually only having 2 seasons in total) vs new anime (usually broken up into the 'short' = ~ 12 episodes, for its seasons, though maybe the 'very long' anime series, it might have its seasons broken up into the medium = ~ 24-30 episodes)
each "season" usually has its (a) own (new): op and ed
(an episode is usually ~30 mins, but sometimes an episode is ~60 mins or ~15 mins)
Wow! This is a bit complicated. I’m sure it’s easier to follow the more you’re into it?
OVAs can be whatever episodes, some has 12 just like a regular season. Original Video Anime just means that it's not aired in TV. However, most of the time it's just a side story content so it usually has short episodes.
Excellent first video! Looking forward to more!
And I'm assuming you've been told this 1000x by now in the comments, but each "season" (usually 10-13 episodes) tends to have a new opening song with new visuals.
Thank you! Yes, the comment section has been very helpful in helping me learn
Vinland Saga OP1 and My Hero Acadmeia OP1 have some sick guitar stuff!
5:13 the amount of openings normally depends on the number of episodes the anime has. Most anime have 12 episodes but ocasionally there's some with 24 or so and the opening changes on the midway point. Also every season has a different opening.
I'm here for the start of your channel!
SUBSCRIBED. Looking forward to your content.
Thank you
Also you should react to another song by the same artist that sung the Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood opening, her name is Yui. The song is from the first ending of Bleach, and it's called Life is Like a Boat by Yui.
i definitely subbed, i love the vibe and content. Keep it up man
some artist specifically make songs for animes but even than, the are shortened to fit the opening. means you would find a full version to almost every anime opening out there. And if you like any opening I recommend listening to the full versions, ;) can't even count, how many different full versions I've got in my playlist, while Eve (also made a few opening and ending songs) is definitely my most favorite japanese singer and songwriter^^
Interesting
When the show goes to a series of episodes the opening and closing songs change the numbering is just there for easy reference. I like the “Diver - Nico touches the walls”
You should check the opening from "Rainbow"
this is ur first video and started killing it, there is a journey and you will not regret the wonders of music in anime openings and endings i cant wait for you to check the other ones and attack on titan and vinland saga im hyped
Love to see people getting into anime & I loved the vid
Thank you 🙏
The artists create a full song for the anime and then it gets edited down to a minute twenty. But yes they do have a full length version.
Usually, each season has one or two different openings depending on whether the season has one or two parts.
Great video, checked your channel for more to binge and I was really surprised that this was your first! Keep it up!
Baselines are overlooked so often in these but honestly JPop and JRock have some crazy cool funky baselines
i highly recommend you look up "Crying for rain" by Minami. One of the best anime OP of all time her vocals are insane.
Crying for rain, unravle, let me hear. Are three very popular ones that are a good jump off point
I’ll have to check these out as well.
ALRIGHT ILL GET BACK INTO FMAB
being a metal fan you HAVE to listen to the final opening for attack on titan its call the rumbling it goes so hard
Will do
Love seeing your music analysis
Thank you :)
if you want your mind blown, react to ado unravel live performance, its a cover of the last song you reacted to but imo it is the best version of the song and hearing it performed live will blow ur mind
I’ve seen this recommended a few times, will have to check it out
most anime use a different opening and ending for each season. Longer shows might use a different opening for each story arc or split the story arc into multiple openings. Long running shows with progressing plot do this because the opening sequences tease relevant future plot points and characters and need to be updated as the story progresses.
A really good metal intro for anime is Yousei Teikoku "Kuusou Mesorogiwi" from Mirai Nikki. Symphonic/Goth Metal.
Welcome to the rabbit hole. Once you start reacting to it, it'll never stop.
Rumbling by SIM
Its heavy/death metal opening from anime attack on titan...
That sounds awesome
man you should check "Deadman wonderland" opening. as a metal musician you will LOVE it
Nice 😊
Damn, welcome to the rabbit hole! :D
It's always fascinating to see reactions of someone new to the anime, subbed :)
There are multiple openings for each arc/seasons :))
Parasyte: The Maxim is an absolute banger.
Its called Let Me Hear by Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
I would check out the Overlord openings, all 4 are really good and have great guitar parts. The most technical opening I've heard is the one from Land of the Lustrous. I'd watch it if you want to be blown away by insane rhythms and parts working together, but I don't find it as catchy as most others even if it is insanely impressive.
Nice! Added to the list
"The whispering fooled me" lmao
if you liked the full metal alchemist opening, I think youd like the song "Red Like Roses Pt. 2" from the RWBY soundtrack
also the ALL the gundam ops they go as far back too 80s when it started and each one are FIRE its a long videos but WORTH IT
Will add these as well lol
You should check out the Vinland saga openings (4 in total)
Yes! I heard about Vineland and want to try and drive a few be sitting Manga reading. I love Viking stuff and it was recommended to me as a Manga must read.
I would recommend you Bling Bang Bang Born by CreepyNuts from anime Mashle. It's very catchy and unique.
Thank you 😊
There's so many amazing anime openings and endings. There's everything, like sometimes great songs in not so great anime and not so great song in great anime.
I recommend that you check out the full versions of the songs, because there's usually a lot that can't fit into 1:30.
The most Metal opening I've listened is from "Akagi", an old anime about Majong really good
If are guitarist then u has to watch Heavenly delusion OP for sure!
Sweet! 🔥
As for recommendations:
Vinland Saga, Cowboy bebop, Trigun (both original and Stampede) Jujutsu Kaisen, JoJo's bizarre adventures and Attack on titan
Dang! 20 openings! lol that’s a whole video for sure
@@AnimeKenTV Technically 29, cause the original Naruto has 9.
Im really lookin forward to your videos ;)))

@@AnimeKenTV some of my fav song which I think you may like are Brave Shine (Fate stay night ubw op2) Let Me Hear (Parasite op) and
Kaikai Kitan (jjk op1)
Hope you check them out 😄 (I subbed)
This is the first guy to sell me the whole "I've never watched anime. Never been into it" shtick and I completely believed him from the get-go. He just has that vibe lol
Well if you want some recommendations:
I personally think the full songs are always the best, but I'll limit myself to stuff with openings (shorter versions too) here
Diver (Opening 8 of Naruto Shippuden) Artist: NICO Touches the Walls
Absolute zero (Openin 1 of Wind Breaker) Artist: Natori
Yoru wa Nemurerukai? (Opening 1 of Aijn) Artist: Flumpool
Contradiction (Opening 2 of Durarara) Artist: ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D
Uragiri no Yuuyake (Opening 1 of Durarara) Artist: Theatre Brook
Lost in Paradise (Ending 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen) Artist: Ali, Aklo
Flashback (Opening 1 of Kokkoku) Artist: MIYAVI
Gospel of the Throttle (Opening 1 of Drifters) Artist: Minutes Til Midnight
I do have more if you want, but I didn't want to write down a list of like... 80+ songs randomly.
Anyway, have a nice day.
Wow! Thank you 🙏

Never heard of that, I’ll have to check it out. Thank you for the recommendation
