If you want a one off that is a banger though Domestic Girlfriend opening is one that made me watch the show

Not metal at all but ive been kinda blown away from oshi no ko openings and closings i think most people from what ive seen love them and its only 4 songs so you could do them in one episode if you wanted.

You definitely need to check Fire Force op. 2 (Mayday). 1st is more popular, but 2nd is much heavier and just cooler in my opinion

14:20 it is usually not the case with a bunch of Japan singers. They are literally monsters, some are even more capable than autotune itself. A little side note: I think some are even using the autotune not for voice tweaks, but just adding some "electronic sound effects".

If you liked the opening to the anime Kokkoku “Flashback” then I recommend the same artist's opening to the anime Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture “Running In My Head”. It has a slightly different vibe, but Miyavi's guitar playing style is very recognizable.

It's been so long since I last saw TM Revolution's actual name it took me almost the whole song to realise the singer didn't just SOUND like him but that it WAS him. Speaking of, you should check out his band - abingdon boys school. They did a few anime OPs and EDs, personally I recommend the Soul Eater ED "STRENGTH" and the Sengoku Basara OP "JAP", although in almost every case the full versions of their songs are way better than their cut down to 90 seconds versions (actually kind of rare for anime OPs and EDs where you normally just get another verse and chorus, maybe a bridge or a guitar solo). I don't think you've reacted to any full size versions of any of the OPs/EDs you've listened to, might interest you to see how different some of them end up being, maximum the hormone's stuff is in the same boat where their full songs are usually way better.

"Watemote" (shortened JP title) (US: ~ It's your guys' fault, that I'm not popular): is about a "loser" girl, now going into high school, thinking that she's going to become the cool popular girl... however, she's got EXTREME Social Anxiety Disorder (she's anorexic: even physically vomiting under social stress-anxiety, not physically developed normally as a female for her age, because of it) and an extremely dirty-naughty (at the "male-level-like") mind too (which doesn't help with her already extreme difficulty with trying to socialize), while having a high standard of wanting to be a classy cool popular s'xy girl, and thus, without being, acting, and dressing like a sl't/"easy"/sleazy floozy b1mb0 girl... (Darkness in Konosuba is another anime character with EXTREME social anxiety disorder, and also with a very dirty mind, but it's not seen as depressing like it is with Tomoko Kuroki in Watamote, as it is drowned out by her masochism and the comedy around it with regards to Darkness in Konosuba) this is an extremely depressing story, as the story ends how it began (yes, a spoiler, there's no fairy-tale happy ending, but a real life reality ending), she remains a "loser" girl, nothing changes for her, she's stuck in her role and place within society, it likely won't ever change for her, even after highschool as an adult, unless she's one of the extremely lucky ones, she was taught a harsh lesson, no matter how hard she tried, she is who she is, a "loser" of society, the bottom of the food chain of the "iron cage" of society and individualism, no matter what she does or doesn't do, this is who she is, always was, and always will be, from birth to death, unless she's one of the lucky ones, the 1 out of a billion, that is promoted in the media, making you think its common and real, when in reality, this is the 1 out of a billion, and not the billion-1 that are stuck as peons/serfs/peasants, as "losers", of society and as individuals also, due to her extremely dirty mind, yes, there's a ton of ecchi/fanservice/lewd scenes and etc in it, and also with how depressing it is, it's definitely not for everyone, though if you've ever been in a similar role, then you will like the anime, as "misery loves company" and "you're not alone"... seeing her struggle and trying so hard to only fail to become a somebody, and not a nobody (yet she remains a nobody at the end, just as she began at the start of her story) -------- anyways... this is why he opening is so good, from the vocals, music, and visuals, of her trying to break her "iron chains of society and individualism/genetics/dna"... of trying to go from a "miserable loser slave girl" to a "happy popular respected celebrity/aristocrat woman/lady"

So Fairy tail does have power metal or influence in it's OST, not so much the openings. Although Strike back and a few of the other 26 openings are heavy rock or within that realm. The current airing season (or continuation) has an insert song called Beyond the quest which is power metal used when the fights are going on. It's worth a listen, along with other OST inserts like Dragon Force or Fairy tail main theme. Edit : if that didn't sell it than the lead vocalist Noora Louhimo for Beyond the Quest is from Battle beast, a Finnish heavy/power metal band.

You might like the servamp opening and the openings for sayonara zetsubou sensei ( although the SZS ones are probably best watching lyrics videos for some as the openings visuals themselves can be risque at times)

I would recommend the 2 openings of "Oshi no ko" (they are not metal but I think they are pretty good), the first opening is called "Idol" and the second opening is called "Fatal". I also would recommend the 2nd ending of Oshi no ko because i think it is pretty metal
