We've done about 2000 miles in it now, very good car. Considering getting an x3 m40d for myself now. The m40i startup noise was way too much for me for a daily and the power is up too high in the rev range for this type of car imo@@car_babble
@@car_babble I love mine but then I’ve always liked stiff suspended cars many drivers don’t. Its low point is driving over speed restriction bumps and there’s plenty around where we live. Its high point is the handling and performance it’s mind blowing. At 70 years of age I’ve been brought up on high performance saloons. Family members “forced” me into an SUV my eldest son sourced this motor for me it keeps a smile on my face.
@@shaimasalah1 Yes it is very thirsty as a retired couple we no longer travel to work so our mileage is quite low to counter the cost. The UK 🇬🇧 road tax and insurance is also a nightmare. Oh and maintenance 🚙 😭
Great review , Did they not have the option to get them with comfort seats ? Also I'm not to sure about volvo seats I don't know the new generation cars which come about 2015 onwards but I've been I very long trips on xc90 2007 and the seats are not comfy at all. If you are after comfort, definitely, lexus is the one to go, for the seats are amazing million times better than volvos. I think you should do revue on lexus Rx .
You make a good point. Suspect can get the comfort seats but you shouldn't need to tick an option to get decent enough seats in the top spec. Not had Volvo's that old but my 2014 V60 had epic seats. Would love to review the Lexus RX. Any Lexus in fact! 😊

Iv’e got one 69 version it’s just great 👍 over the years i have had many starting with a 1600 ! up to a 540 tourer ! this suv is excellent
I have the 3.0 d this is the best engine, the wife recently attained over 60mpg on a long run.

Upgrade to a 23 plate X3M competition it’s an incredible motor make sure it’s got Michelin Pilot tyres on it though and the ultimate pack. 💨
