Really appreciate the detail and the rationale on all your choices. And that Gen Loss into Big Sky sound is 😙👌 looking forward to the lightspeed/protein videos!
love this! Dude, for the hurricane, i was inside diving deep into a new board build and my new Benson Monarch. Just needed a natural disaster to get some time with the gear. 😂
That's a great board with fantastic pedals. 🙌 Thank you for sharing this walkthrough and your thoughts about the pedals and the setup. 👍👍 I am always in awe, how the Chase Bliss Gen Loss changes the sound in such a magical way. 💙 And the Mood MkII is a kind of its own. 💜
Just getting around to watching this monster, but I'll say I'm really happy to see someone using a Walrus drive pedal. They get looked over so much but they're all surprisingly great!
haha monster indeed. I really dig the walrus drives, that's how I came to know them originally. I just traded for a Walrus Red that has yet to come in, but i'm excited to take that beast on haha
I actually am planning on doing a bit of a run through on my process with those because I really did not like them when I first got them and I've heard others with similar experience. I think it'll be it's own video talking through the settings but also how i set things up with my board and DI etc. to make sure everything runs smoothly!
@@signalpath That is awesome man! Looking forward to it. I like mine, however, I know 100% its not at its full potential. It's still a bit of a struggle to get the volume's even, etc.
Dude this is awesome. Can I ask you the position of the MOOD mkii? Do you have a reason for having it before the microcosm (weirdness) delay and reverbs ? I am curious how MOOD mkii would work after the cosm? Maybe as two looper types it’s doesn’t matter? Wondering how MOOD fits before or after delays & verbs tho! 👏
Where do you have your Gen Loss in your chain? Just got one (it's pretty unreal) and I currently have it after everything but my Big Sky. In your example when you kick it on when doing a drone with the BS, it sounds like the Gen Loss is after the BS effecting the fully wet reverb. Is that the case, or does it sit in the chain where it sits on your board? Thanks for the help. *Bonus question: Is your BS drone set in Cloud or a different engine?
Hi Ben! the board has changed around a bit since I made this video, but it it's almost always before all the time based effects. I've tried it after reverb before, but I prefer to use reverb as the unifying trait that ties together all the textures I'm using. It does work great at the very end, but for my purposes it tends to live earlier in the chain.
on the gfi settings you are using it not in paralel at the point of you demo it ! +. is not parallel , its actually one into the other ...hmm im confused !
It’s an old trailer trash 30x18 I bought off the original owner and I assume the case came with it! Great board, it’s done a few thousand miles on the road and still works great
It has a live in flight case! Probably weighs in around 60 lbs at the moment, but really just gets used for studio stuff, I'll rip stuff off and build a board that fits in my checkable pelican for travel stuff, though that's rare these days
Liked and subscribed. Good content. Suggestion: maybe it's just me, but you said the word "kinda", over and over to the point where I was totally distracted....
and therein lies the risk of the stream of consciousness haha Thanks for checking it out! To be honest this was just a bit of fun to see what talking about the board in the moment would result in, but typically the things I post here are both talking-light and much more prepped. Thanks for the note!

that was definitely my favorite part of this one too. It's such a strong pairing, such an emotive sound
love this!

thanks my friend! Gen loss really is special
absolutely stunning setup my guy. I can't imagine your daisy chaining more than 4 pedals at a time😨
Stunning sounds and great explanation! 🙏🏻

Awsome vid, thanks! Building a board with similar pedals but ponder on a switcher or more pedals. I need a midi lesson!😂
So great! Would love to see your settings on the Ruby and Dream.

Thanks so much Friend greetings from Philippines negros island tambobo bay
Fantastic video :)
Any chance we can get the POG presets somewhere?
Many thanks!
Man the presets are probably lost to time at this point haha, I'll have to do a video going back through how I set up the POG soon though.
Beautiful set up!! I don’t know if you have a Duophony But I’d love to see a wet, dry wet, set up with the dream and Ruby!
My demo for it is coming soon!
SUBSCRIBED AND LIKED!!
Cuánto potencial en esa cadena! 🎸🤟🏻

@@signalpath Excellent. Thanks for the help with this. It sounds so incredible in your examples in any of your videos where you feature it.

Actually that's not quite correct when the symbol is "
Is this a Jetsetter by C&C (Caseman)? Been trying to find these in the states, if so.

How do you carry that rig? Which case?😅looks great and heavy

Have you looked at the Walrus Audio M1??
Just saying it's cool. Would be missing the audio wouting tho, unless you put it thru the RJM
