great looking ride, for the most part...although, I saw a reviewer show the air conditioner not working with the remote engine start up, not sure if that's just a glitch in theirs or not, on a (supposedly) hot day too. I don't like the instrument cluster on this car. I guess they were going for a sporty display look, but it's overboard in my view, video game like. sure, it's customizable---however Every configuration is cartoonish. for a flagship sedan that tops out nearing a hundred thou, as I'm scrolling through I want an elegant looking instrument cluster option in there.
+Nawh Yawl I guess it's personal preference, but all competitors have the same style LCD display. Maybe the BMW 7-Series is closer to the look you want.
Cadillac is my favorite, but I feel like it needs to step up its game a bit with the CT6 in order to complete with the Mercedes S class, Audi A8, and the Rolls Royce Phantom series. I know people buy Cadillacs for different reasons than they do other luxury brands (I do) but I'd like to see what it can do working at its full potential
MotorPress.ca good deal I never liked the idea of brakes implying themselves. especially if you're going to overtake someone in the next lane and somebody's in front you. like if you're in the middle of switching lanes and the brakes slam right in front of someone.
Dirt cheap compared to a Rolls, Bentley, Ferrari, Lambo, etc......so don't bad mouth a great car because YOU cannot afford it....go buy another used Hyundai and save your money.
Beautiful design but too big for a modern luxury sedan. I would compare this car to the old Cadillac 75. Anyone driving this car as a driver is going to be mistaken as a chauffeur often.
Not anyone, because some people *are* chauffeurs - such as myself. 😂 I think it looks fantastic, and I *need* it to be large. The fact that it has a small boot is a real downer though. Anyway I'm in Australia so I can't buy one - I hope we import them at some stage.
The Lincoln Continental will never compete with the CT6 because it is fundamentally a FWD chassis. If you don't like the Caddy and you want to buy American (sort of), you're better off with a fully-loaded Chrysler 300 - for like half the price.
Absolutely stunning design.
I just turned in a Chrysler 300 for one of these. I get it on Tuesday. Can't wait
Wait 3 to 5 years and you can get this nice caddy for 30 to 35 grand instead of over 100 grand and it still will be a nice car.
Totally agree but someone needs to buy it new for us to get it used :)
I get it yesterday for $32,000. It was 5000 miles on speedometer I believe I did a good deal
amazing! Congratulations 🥳
@@MotorPressReviews I get hybrid . It’s perfect
I'm about to buy one
Complainers cant afford it.
Nice car
I want one so bad...😍
It's a beautiful car for sure.
Is this car still plagued with transmission problems??
Yes it is and GM has no idea how to repair all of the faulty transmissions other than replacing them under warranty.
thanks Jason. great review
+doctorikon glad you enjoyed it!

this thing has a bid better fuel economy than a brougham with a 307!
can you turn off the automatic brakes?
+Scotty Perrillioux I think so.

+Scotty Perrillioux it happens to me all the time in press cars. F***ing scary as warnings start flashing.
MotorPress.ca damn that is scary. I hope it never becomes more than a scare. stay safe
+Scotty Perrillioux many thanks!
34 speakers for the Bose, not 38.
Lost count after 8... :)
This car would be perfect if it were not for the transmissions
You ranked the Continental at 8.7.... this one 9.0... interesting
Yup, CT6 is better.
it will be better next year never buy a car when it 1st come out learn that the hard way
+Brandon Gary both my 2011 BMW 535 and 2008 Mini Cooper S Clubman are first year cars, no problems at all.
MotorPress.ca I'm talking about the technology on the car
+Brandon Gary I am not saying that it hasn't been the case, I am just saying that I ve been lucky :)
Some minor tweaks here and there and exteriror touch ups. But on the other hand, there will be a ct6 vsport coming out. Now that will be killer

colderbeer 👍 nice
Hyundai's are nicer than Cadillacs.....A Cadillac is just a plastic Chevy in drag.

+James Varela well said. I am with you on that one.

Cadilac nice car exterior but interior no
Laid Bencheikh well.. ct6 interior is younger than dts interior
이택건. Yes corect
433L boot? Pathetic!
99,000 I'll take the Lincoln Continental for all the same shit jst about
+Ja'Vven La'Pierre Continental review coming late May. You might be on to something :)

I like exterior. But interior.. terible. A lot of grey cheap color surfaces, places where dust will be looks great.
