ughhh i love ninth house. it's so good. it's my favourite book from leigh bardugo. the second book is good too tho i enjoy the first one better.
Damn actually listening to the Ninth House review, now I want to read it. Ugh.
You could say that Bardugo’s writing is quite Familiar…
Plus it’s great to see there are more progressive schools of wizardry that don’t hate Trans people.
Only thing Hogwarts and Yale have in common is weird poop stuff.
I've had The Familiar on my tbr ever since you mentioned it but now I'm thinking of starting Ninth House first instead. Which would you say is better to read first? Does it even matter?

No new tour soon but I might post pics when my office is fully redone (still rearranging stuff).
I think both books were very different so one doesn't really effect the other. But I enjoyed Ninth House way more so if I read that first, I think The Familiar would have been more disappointing.
Ninth House really felt like a seinen anime/manga both in terms of plot structure and how it almost excessively shows off its adult rating. Still a fun read.
Yeah that's a good comparison. Pretty sure they are making a live action show but it would be really cool as an animation or graphic novel.
