I feel like I just didn’t LOVE any of the characters or get attached to anyone in it. I rooted for people but not really invested in them. It is well written and still a good story but more for a read that I COULD put down. I still have like 2 chapters left

Does The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo have vampires/vampire type magic at all? I saw someone mention in a goodreads comment that it might.

It doesn't. I feel like I can kind of see a loose connection to that, but it's not vampires/I wouldn't go into it thinking about them.
