We have a Renegade Classic 40' and it's great! Easy and fun to drive and it's been bullet proof in our first year of ownership. Storage has not been an issue for us we just had to get serious about what we really needed and USED!
Loved your video. We have a Renegade Classic, ours we have had a few years, and I must say so well built and we love it. You are correct not a lot of storage in the bays but ours is a toy hauler with a 10' garage so we can deal with it and it hasn't been a problem. The outside fridge we kind of thought we wouldn't like, but now can't imagine not having it - so nice. Drives so well, you don't get pushed around on the road or blown around which was the main reason we went with a Super C, safety. Great video.
Nice rig for sure! I would love to test drive one!!! Great insight from an owner as well!!
@@todayissomeday Well since you are in Florida if in your travels you are somewhere near the area of Arcadia that might can be arranged, just shoot us an email.
You guys do really great tours. Very thorough. Renegades are in a class by themselves
Thanks so much! We have really grown with our tours and I finally think we do a pretty good job of the basics.
You, Me & the RV Omgosh Stacy, you covered so much detail, spoke very well, this was an absolute awesome review of this rig, so very professional and to the point, really enjoyed it and your enthusiasm! 💖
About the rig: yes it is very beautiful, but I don’t understand how they are built to explain why they lack under storage so much, and i’m even more baffled considering two of three holding tanks are under the bed. This is looking to me like it’s a “super C” issue. Lovely big cargo doors but dittly-dee for under storage. So then the question is to these manufacturers, is it poor design, or lack of design for so little cargo storage? 🤔 cheers🍻
@@SpykersB Good question!! It is pretty and can haul major pounds but we would be out due to basement size! Well and the price of course! hahaha
@@SpykersB as I understand it, the Super C's like the Renegade use a Freightliner Cascadia chassis with a heavy duty frame to support the towing capacity. That frame is why you don't have the pass-through storage. The XL can pull a 30' stacker trailer easily with your car inside it along with all your other toys, BBQ grill, mother-in-law, etc. The big tank under the bed is just your fresh water and they did that to prevent freezing in bad weather. Your grey and black tanks are on the driver's side.
Randell Schmidt ahhhhh! “💡!” 👍🏼 thx.
So glad you did the Renegades. The Verona LE has an MSRP around $360k and is a non-custom model with all the most popular options. We love ours. Definitely out classes the entry level Super C's.
It is sweet to be sure!!
It’s very refreshing to actually see people that can hold your interest and not get bored during the video. It’s a chore to watch a lot of people on youtube.
Thanks so much
Loved your reviews of the 4 Super C’s. Best yet!
Thanks so much!
We have a Dynamax Isata 5 but plan to move up to a DX3 after a few years of full-timing. I've had class A's, 5th wheels, travel trailers and tents. I'll take a class C, especially a Super C, over all of them every day. Not just the safety aspect, but towing capacity as well. I was turned off the diesel pushers when I saw how low most of their towing capabilities were.
Love watching you guys, thank you for the content and I hope to meet you when we go full time next year.
I really like that it doesn't have that Las Vegas look to it like you said. Just plain nice and useful as MH should be. Great job!
Appreciate the thorough and completely informative review. Nice to stumble upon a gem once in a while while on the Interwebs! One of the most intelligent reviews of a RV that I've seen. And I've seen a lot!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Outstanding! Glad you liked the Renegade XL. If Stacy ever sees the Bath & 1/2 model she will lose it over the back bathroom. One option on the bed is you can get a Sleep Number bed. When I win the Lotto I will be getting one of these rigs. For Phil, the tandem rear axles are both powered, so less chance of getting stuck in the mud. The final thing that attracted me to the Renegade is having the diesel engine out front. If you need work or maintenance on it, you can take it to any shop that works on big rigs instead of an RV dealer. Thank you again for showing this. Hope you two have a wonderful 2020!
I would not have thought about that. Thank you for your input!
@@todayissomeday Plus any 18 wheel towing service can tow this but Class A's not so much! And with the engine out front, no mechanics need to come inside!
The Renegades are very nice on the inside, the outside storage is not so much. And they are all very expensive, the aqua hot alone is a very expensive option, maybe it’s worth it but I don’t know ,it runs on diesel or electric. Just out of my price range and no dealership within a 150 miles of me. If you want to see some really nice Renegades get on UTube and look at IWS,they custom build the Renegades and even better than the ones you went through. I like my Senaca, all the fixtures are stainless, storage inside works for us and the storage underneath is amazing.it has the same control panel and I installed USB ports beside the bed. It will pull 12000 lbs witch is way more than I need. I feel like I got the best I could for the price point that I wanted to be at. Thanks for the Super C videos every body else skips over them ! Thanks again I look forward to your next video.
We agree on the storage!! We need more.
You, Me & the RV Don’t get me wrong I love the Renegades, I don’t understand why they don’t have more basement storage. For that price they should be the full meal deal.
@@donbruder6838 Agreed!!
I forgot to tell you the Spper C’s drive Great, very comfortable and I really like having the front end and the air horn is cool. Thanks Guys You Rock.
@@donbruder6838 Thanks!!
Love your channel, but every You Tubers and their brother show us different models from the Tampa show that we can easily google on our own - so I tune out for a few weeks. What would be nice is to show us the show from a different prospective - how to navigate the show, how to deal with salesmen, how to trade in your RV, insider tips, how to pick up a used RV that someone is trading in at the show, etc. Just a few thoughts.
That would be about 10 videos! jk Thanks for the input that is a good perspective.
Very good video. I am surprised the RV industry hasn't brought options to the market for our pets. I would love to see you do a video on what mods people have done for pets. We trave, 44 ft 5th wheel, with a parrot and cat so one slide is an aviary. You both do a great job!
We will add that to the list of videos we are mulling over. That would be interesting for sure.
Well... if it had the bath and a half that would be it.. Great color. You guys did a great job. Love it!!! If they bring one of those to the Houston RV show it may be hard to pass up. Thanks for that video.
They have a ton of floor plans to choose from!
If you check out IWS Motor Coaches here on RUclips, they have a full tour of the 2020 XL in the bath and a half layout.
Tommy Hathcock look at the Verona LE LRB. Bath and a half. We love ours.
Pro tip: A lot of Super C+ owners upgrade every few years so there are plenty of these Class 6/7/8 truck conversions out there and most with all the extra little features owners like to add after the fact like 3M masks, tow bars or even trailers for a cheaper price than new.
Used all the way!!
Renegade makes a great unit with solid build quality. My one concern that I see with all Super C RVs is the lack of windows on the curb side. I want to see my campsite. That aside, I love the noncabover Super C on a Freightliner.
Great job showing off the XL...The wife and I have a 2019 VeronaLE 40LRB and love it. It’s our third Renegade although our fist two were sport decks that we used when our Son was racing. When our Son stopped racing for us and went to another team, we purchased a Prevost XL from Liberty and it was a love hate relationship. It was very frustrating trying to get serviced out on the road and when we stopped to have shops look at it...it’s like we were in a space shuttle, heck I think the space shuttles systems were easier than the Liberty’s. In the end we decided to sell it and get something a little more robust and after reflecting we had two Renegades race car haulers with zero problems we bought the Verona and are so pleased with it that I’m thinking maybe stepping up to the XL series in the next year..Thanks again for the well done review!
All I can say about this rig: "WOW!!!"
Great info and great motorhome, but for some reason I am not into Super C's. The storage outside is lacking some love for me. I am still in love with the Newmar Dutch Star.
It is very lacking and it is so important to us full timers!
Features of this unit seem very similar to an Allegro Bus which could have a similar MSRP for a tag axel and more basement storage with pass through. You also won’t have the engine noise in front of you.
@@todayissomeday And it's pretty shocking at that price point, too! And holding tanks under the bed in that range... urk! Words fail.
Thanks for the walk through. I am in my research phase and I'm leaning towards the Verona since it is Super C on a commercial chassis which is important to me for towing and maintenance (emergencies). Build quality looks exceptional which is important as I will be a full timer.
Currently crunching numbers and trying to get to a total cost of ownership number as well as an operating cost. I appreciate all the effort you all put into your videos. You have no idea how much this helps.
Glad it was helpful!

Don’t let Ruby see this video. She might get a complex. Great job on the tour. Maybe they will let take a super c on a demo trip.
LOL.....she has thick diesel skin!! HAHA. A trip in the Renegade would be SWEET!!!
Thanks for a great video, we have a 25’ Villagio by Renegade and we love it. This is our first experience and we are hooked. It has lots of storage for the size, especially being able to go to local parks for the day and enjoy having our home with us. On our bucket list someday a ShowHauler Truck 35’.
That is awesome!
I’m a retired veteran and have little money to buy one of these , I wish I did. I would travel the world in peace inside my luxury cabin and not in a tank with gun fire. Maybe someday I will win a lottery ticket . Great video and beautiful
Thanks for your service Jason! I wish we had the winning lotto ticket as well.
Great video guys. Love that little nook space next to the bed... looks like it might be large enough to put a C-Pap machine....would be a perfect spot. Sometimes it's the little things that really make a difference in terms of comfort and functionality. Hubby and I will be buying an RV in the next few years after retirement so doing some research now. Unfortunately we are not in careers where we can work from the road. However, it just gives me more time to research and dream of what's to come! I never really considered a Super C...always had my eye on a Class A, but a Super C is definitely going to be considered as well
No such thing as to much research! I think a Cpap would fit perfectly!
Hey Guys, saw you at the Gas Stop booth in Tampa. Great to see so much interest in Gas Stop and your channel!
Keep up the good work.
Make it a Great Day!!!
Nice coach however, a booth dining, a dishwasher, a kitchen window over sink /stove and ceiling fans in L.R. & bedroom & a half bath would be my dream coach.
Very nice! Maybe when XRP blows up we can afford something similar! I just want the washer & dryer right now!! (no room though) Thanks for sharing! Love those tank sizes too! wow!
Ht Tina😊
We are going to order a Renegade 45' Classic on a Peterbilt Chassis. Cannot wait 👍
Very beautiful rig guys! Thanks for giving us a great tour!
Love the Super Cs. Stacy, the bedside nook you showed would also be a perfect
place for someone's CPAP machine (and the plug right there). Cheers.
Spot on.....great call!
We have a Renegade Explorer 2900 It’s a 2012 with 40,000 miles on it. Love the Freightliner front end
To solve all your storage needs, you could consider getting a 30,000 lb. rated stacker trailer to tow behind that Renegade. Though it might be a bit extra (understatement), it would allow you to store your Jeep (or Range Rover AND golf cart/ATV) inside. Of course, you would probably need to reserve two sites at most campgrounds to fit it all. LOL!
Safe travels!
That would blow my camping budget!! hahahaha
I love your videos. I have followed you for a while and taken advantage of your travel tips. I would have liked to seen the entry point Renegade, my budget doesn’t allow for the high end. I am looking to up grading from a traditional “C” in a few years. Safe Travels!
Thanks for your support!! We really appreciate it.
Great video! We love our Renegade!! We have the 40’ Verona LE with the bath and 1/2. They are built so well! Picked ours up from a seller
(he added a ton of upgrades) who only had it a few months, so got a great price. We love how it drives. We came from a 40’ Tiffin Phaeton...we do miss our all under belly storage, but that is the only downside we found.
That is the perfect way to snag a great deal!!
You, Me & the RV I am thinking Tiffin will come out with one...a bigger Wayfair?
@@BriggsontheRoad We were wondering if they would as well. Only time will tell!
LOVE the three windows around the headboard! We have that in our RV and it’s hard to find, if we were to buy a new RV. I wish more RVs were made with the windows around the headboard. This is one hellofa RV ... very pretty!
They were super sweet!
Hello Peggy 😊
I think I will buy one of those Renegades; WHEN I WIN THE LOTTO. 😂. 👍
Same here!!
Yup, me too
Same here it's a beautiful coach . For the price was there a dishwasher in it ?
Lotto is not available in all states and there are other games with the potentially larger prizes.
Great Video! We love the fact that Phil wore the hat we gave him! It was a pleasure to meet both of you at the RV show on Thursday. We hope we have an opportunity to meet up with you again in the future.
Loved the hat! It was perfect timing. Thanks you so much!
Wow - this unit is gorgeous!! That cabinetry and flooring is right out of the Entegra playbook - which you know we love. Glad you added this tour to the collection 👏!
Thanks. We loved it too!
Beautiful coach . The cabinetry is gorgeous .
Thanks for the showing. I’m a Verona fan wishing . But this one is tops.
Most Super C 's I've been in and I would have considered one if it wasn't for the price. The ones I've been in are well built. You could swing on the doors. They all had the piano hindge . The next youre in a Super C check out the hinges on the doors. There won't be a sagging door. They're just built tough.
Thanks for the awesome tour! Basement and floor plans are what kept us from buying a Renegade Verona vs. our Phaeton. The Newmar is unique in the Super C class because it solves the basement issue and the Cab is independent of the RV portion of the rig. This level of Super C seems so well built and much sturdier than the Class A, they can use heavier materials because of their chassis and engine design.
Basement storage is very important to us full timers!!
Lotto, plus 7 days (for the bank to clear the check) then a Renegade Valencia 38BB. Remove the bunks and set up an office area. Then three years on the road, to start.
Nice!!
This rig is exceptional. One thing a super c has over a class a is the airbags. I would never have a class a due to the lack of airbags. We have a mercedes based class c (winnebago navion) and love it.
Thanks for sharing!
Really like the subtle lighting! Super c's are sweet!
Ok ! Your videos are wonderful..... I must say I BELIEVE I HAVE FOUND MY RUBY !!! with this rig...... Thank u 😊
Very nice Calvin!! It is one sweet RV!!!
Beautiful rig, and an excellent tour! Stacy, you could have a new career there if you ever decide to get off the road ;-)
Maybe one day! LOL
Great video. Phil, you forgot to mention what engine and transmission the Renegade has.
Way our of my league but you did a great job showing the features of the Super C.
Ours too Gregg....LOL
Your tour are always honest and straight forward.......Super C..Super awesome
Thank you!
How about that! Ask for a review vid on Renegade and you guys deliver! Thanks so much and yes that Super C is Super Sweet!!
We aim to please!! 😉
You two are a hoot! Love your intro - I am collecting my cans right now!
LOL......thanks!
Great video.
The class C is a nice rig.
That rig is capable of pulling a large trailer so the lack of basement can be utilized in the trailer .
We have a 40 ft class A diesel pusher and we still need our 28 ft. Trailer for all we take with us. Lol
We like to travel light....but that is great addition for extra storage.
Nice tour. We didn’t see these, and actually had never heard of them before. Not a fan of the shiny cabinets. They need to catch up with the classier designs of the other high end lines. Imho This still screams Old School RV designer to me.
It had pretty clean lines so it wasnt too bad. I have seen much worse.
You, Me & the RV I agree, not loaded with gold trim & doodads that channel Elvis’ Graceland.
Reminds me of marine varnish. Á la, uh marine stuff, and stuff.
WOW! What more can I say. Great job!!!
Thanks!
Nice walk though you two. You guys know more about these rigs than some of the salesmen I’ve dealt with. My only concern is why they’ve done away with the rear ladder to the roof. If you have solar you definitely want to get up there and clean the panels from time to time. Otherwise a beautiful rig.
We looked at Jayco Seneca and Renegade Super C's before we went with our Fleetwood class A. So many nice units out there!
We agree! It has to be the right fit for you!
as of this date most Renegade come with the Battle Born lithium ion batterys as many as 9 per RV, and still have the regular chassis battery
That is awesome to hear!!!!
I have looked at lot of RVs I am definatly getting a Renogade when I'm ready to buy.
Good call!!!
Thank you for coming to see the Renegade line and allowing me to be in your video. I’ll be sure to like and subscribe ! Anytime you two want to come check out North trail RV center please let me know and I’ll be glad to give you a tour !
Thanks a ton John! Glad you were available! Anytime North Trail needs someone to drive a Renegade cross country.....let us know! LOL
Thank you for this tour! Wow that's a sweet ride.
You are so welcome!
Hello Mary 😊
We have been thinking super C’s for the last few years and love the build quality of the Renegade and the towing capacity. We used to have a 40’ Allegro Bus that we loved but switched to a toyhauler 5th wheel in order to take our side by side with us. We wanted to downsize and was also looking at your Ruby or the Newmar New Air which is the same size as Ruby. You will need to look at Newmars Super C it is very nice as well. Thanks for your great videos and love this RV lifestyle but can only dream of full timing. We have done about halftime on the road for the last 6 years since my wife likes to have a regular home.
We missed the Newmar Super C! We will try to find it for next time. We LOVE the full time lifestyle! Getting out when you can is better than not getting out :)
Awesome love your videos but this one is a whole new level honest one of the best reviews entertaining informative please keep this side of your Chanel also
Thanks! Will do!
Thanks for the tour but I don't think it's for me, not only can't afford one I don't like the stone, way too much weight for something I don't want. The problem with their line is that the towing capacity for anything under $180,000 tops out at 5,000 lbs. For me the Nexus Wraith hits the sweet spot between price and features. Oh, and it has lots of outside storage. But please keep the good stuff coming.
This one had a hitch rae of 30K. Pretty impressive there, however, that storage was lacking!
It's a beauty but a bit too much brown. Thanks for the great tour though, you're both great at it! Renegade needs to throw you some commish for this wonderful review :)
The wood was awesome!!! It could use some lightening inside for sure.
One thing that many people don't consider is how much easier it is to tow a Class C if a breakdown occurs (as compared to finding somebody to tow a Class A). Every class of motorhome has its pros and cons; I'm just point out one of the pros for the Class C when those "bad days" happen.
Would only purchase I Renegade after looking at hundreds of others
Should have showed the Renegade ikon. I love my Ikon it's the perfect RV for me. I pull a 24' stacker trailer with my retired cop toys in it.
Keep the rubber on the road.
Safe travels and God bless.
We did go through the Ikon....WOW! We asked the reps which one was the best seller and they pointed us to the XL.
We’ve seen one of these at the rv show. So nice! 🤩
Saying it again, you are very good doing RV reviews. PS I did understand the 20 lbs (20,000) I support you Phil...
LOL......thanks for understanding!
Another awesome video... This Super C is gorgeous. Still playing the Texas lottery Phil and Stacy so if we win you win. It would be so awesome to travel around in one of these doubt I would wont to get out of the driver seat. Dont see too many Super C’s on the road well at least I haven’t noticed them. Another great job showing us the awesome rigs out there. Thank you two so much! Safe travels you two.
Thanks so much!! I wouldnt mind winning the lotto myself. I guess only those who play win....dang it!
No worries. We play for you ,me and your new RV.👍
@@melduncanakamelnetteliving9892 :)
Love it! We used to own one but too bad so many high end RV resorts will not allow Super C’s otherwise we would still have ours.
I didnt know that. Thanks for the info
Newman has a new super c! Wow!
We have not seen it yet....we are looking for one to review.
Ok Newmar ! Shmuck!
As usual a great show.you guys are great.
Thanks Michael!
I love the lower cost models too. You get so much. The tank capacities, the engine torque, towing capacity and the workmanship. Awesome!!
Agreed!!
And the aqua-hot option!!!!
Great tour of this awesome Super C. Nice they have lower priced versions, too. Nice shower! Haha. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Can’t deal with carpet ! Newmar Supreme Aire has flat floor slides and no carpet . However if Renegade gets rid of carpet I would get one !
Love the cabinet lighting
One does not need to buy the Ikon for luxury, every model has its iwn level of luxury features. As mentioned in your previous video, they are some thing!! i love the Renegades.
LOVE, what you guys doing!!! Now days many companies area coming out with possible hybrid vehicles. Have companies like Renegade consider company like Hyliion for the conversion system in order to save on fuels? Thanks for your consideration!!!
Thanks for another tour of a new RV, IS this your new side line 🤣?
I wish!
I think that's a 3 person shower. 🤣🤣
Beautiful coach. Your camera really picked up the beauty of the interior wood finish. BTW at 4:56 you can see the small diameter black tank discharge hose that can be used instead of the big hose. Thanks again for the video!
Great video guys! Very informative. Awesome channel! I just subscribed .
Welcome!
Would love to see you do more RV tours....your relaxed honest approach is refreshing ❤
Thanks Richard!
Thanks for the great review. We have a similar Renegade since 2017 with the 600 HP Cummins and it by far the best driving coach we have ever had. We chose renegade because we liked their quality and they allowed us to tweak the floor plan for things like larger windows, tv’s in places that give every seat a comfortable view as well as custom floor options that included wood tile heated floors. If you ever in the Denver CO area, I would be fun to meet up👍
Sounds like a sweet rig! Denver is on the list for sure!
It's much more cost effective, not cheaper! Cheaper is a naughty word in sales!
Thanks for the Super-C reviews! Nice options for upgrade from 24' class C.
You are very welcome!
I'm starting to think a Ruby trade-in is looming on the horizon!
No way!!! We will drive her into the ground!!
You, Me & the RV ya right! 😂
@@todayissomeday if you do that eventually it won't be worth any thing in the future .
The XL45QS is the floor plan I’ve been looking at. Thanks for your views on it.
Glad to help
You could bring some of your GOWNS, girl. I’ll take 2.
The Renegade Classic w/overhead bunk is my dream coach.
Great video guys ! GO NAVY
Thanks! Go Navy!
Now if I could just get a Classic built to spec..... 🤔
Hmmmm......
You can. Visit IWS and look at their signature series.
Loved the Video, I like the Renegade line, what are your thoughts on the Ikon Model?
They are really nice and expensive. The features are awesome......30k hitch! WOW! Very luxurious!
Super c for me .!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
My goooooodnes. That’s a Taj Mahal. No outside storage tho..... but woweee 😎
Right!!
Bonjour to both of you!
Very impressive rig. But I prefer the 45' class A motorhome from Tiffen.
Good choice!
What can you not access when the slides are in? This is a major is to consider when choosing. I have seen some were you have to open the slide to get in the fridge. Beautiful rig. One more question is do you have to get a air brake endorsement?
We were not able to close the rig at the show. I am not sure of the air brake endorsement.
I love the safety, handling, and power you get with a class 8 truck chassis.
