You me and the rv
I really like you guys videos because the way you present them you kid around with one another you’re always happy you just do a great job
Thanks so much
Thank you so much for doing this video Because of storms I have restarted 6 times
You are so welcome!
Hi folks I think Renegade makes a better product.
A lot better product Renegade all the way
Matt's RV Reviews just got competition. Excellent review.
LOL.....We have met Matt.....his reviews are far better than ours.
Good review! Be safe!!
Thanks for the video
I’m liking the superstar 8.9 liter for sure
Like that the stairs have sensors to stop from hitting a curb and an automatic step cover also the water miser in the shower, 3 things missing in the Renegade and Showhauler...but an ashtray..?..lol..
Why are some (most?) Manufacturers still building RVS with the same old same old outdated interiors these days. It’s just frustrating. There is very little creativity in play compared to Europe / Asia options.
I like the stain color they chose for the wood.
I remember driving one day, on a narrow bridge and dropping the red hot lighter and the darn thing ended up behind my butt, it was either pants and/or seat getting burned so I reached out and I had a nice spiral burn on my finger for a few days, needless to say I hit the jackpot in my reach out for the darn chromed out slippery lighter.. no car accident however
Pro Tip:
On the cab seats (If they swivel) Using the 3rd position setting as the living-room.
In other words - turn it to the living room set-up and set the 3rd driver as in that position.
It usually takes 3 or 4 steps to turn those seats. Use my tip - it's just a matter of selecting the 3rd driver to swing that seat around.
Great tip!
Great video, good to see y’all again! Question- what do y’all think of the Jayco Seneca?
OKH
We reviewed that one back in Jan. It was not bad for the price point.
I would love to see more of a country color scheme light and bright, I’m Dolly and Leo and I will start or adventure in 2024 can hardly wait 😊enjoying your videos, thank you 😊
Good educational video guys good Job 👍🏼🖖🏼🙂
Thank you 🤗
Thanks for checkin'out the Newmar 3746. My wife and I are looking at several makes of the Super C for dependability, equipment, and weight capacity onboard and towing. Having to look at units 2 to 3 years old with low mileage for affordability--but thats quite alright--most of them arent even broken in yet.....
You bet
No outtakes?? 😳. Thanks for another great video. Get those AC’s cranking next time!
Outtakes??? Us?? come on ! 😂😂😂
We're looking at a Newmar Supreme Air. Thinking about going from a 43' Allegro Bus to the Newmar. Personally I think they are much safer to drive, but man they are high $$$$$$$. Thanks for the video.
I bought my 5th wheel from the TransWest dealer you looked at this Class C in. It was a trade in on one of their Class A models.
An ashtray and lighter! Don't hate. We smokers still exist, of course I practice smokers etiquette but it's cool to know it's there. The ashtray can always be used for change, so there's that...
I did not find your reference link to 4 corner weighing? Did you forget? Great video!
Yes, I did! I added it but here ya go: blog.todayissomeday.net/4-corner-rv-weigh/#.X0p_0C2z2L8
@@todayissomeday I followed the link and then scrolled down to find the video on four corner weighting thanks for the video!
Hey y'all, thanks for a great tour. I know it's been awhile since I have written/commented but The Magnificent Seven & I have been busy. The Purple People Eater was totaled coming back from VA to AZ. The 3 service dogs, 2 Chichi pups in training, 2 therapy Siamese & I are all fine! We've been forced into a rental until this insurance thing is settled. Until then, I'll keep looking for a new SNIP Mobile! Don't know if you remember but it stands for spay and neuter for impoverished persons. Basically a free spay and neuter clinic on wheels.
My four-legged furries & I were happy to watch the video today. It was great seeing y'all again. Love from Mary Pat & The Magnificent Seven!
OKH THANK YOU
@@catalinstoica6919 it's never a problem. I'm just glad everybody is doing okay. I still get to rescue. Can't complain when you get 7 beautiful fur babies + you get to rescue other animals on top of that!
Glad to hear you all are ok! That is pretty scary! Hopefully, you get the insurance thing all ironed out so you can get another set up!
@@todayissomeday thank you so much. We're working very hard right now and still unboxing. You guys keep safe and know that I wait for the next video! It's funny, The Magnificent Seven watch your videos with me. They have certain channels they love to see! LOL
Renegade does it better. This is missing the collision mitigation system, which I think should be standard. I always check the IWS site for the super C.
I think Newmar missed the mark on this one - I agree with all your evaluation points. As a high-end coach builder, I'd expect better batteries, a much more updated driver's cockpit, and I completely agree on the lack of appropriate kitchen storage. I do like the flip-up rear cap and the storage there - nice touch. I'm a Tiffin fan and I sure wish they'd design a Super C. I think more and more Super C's are going to win more fans just due to the inherent safety and maintainability of the engine up forward. I do have to wonder how the driving compares to a Class A. Nice work on this video - as always.
Miss having an ashtray in my vehicles. Ever used them for ashes but great place to keep assortment of coins so you don’t need to dig in pockets for change for tolls, parking lots etc.
Very true!
The dash is old style Freightliner class 8 truck chassis 😱😱
This has a vintage feel however with a modern day high price point. TV should drop down & have a window, need more cabinet space for the size of this vehicle. Can you access the bathroom & does the bed remain full size with slide in ?? Not crazy about floor vents either.
Nice rig I like that they put in ashtray in the vehicle I wish they would put them back in cars I'm so fed up with watching people throw cigarette butts out the window of cars all the time now especially when they are recyclable
Renegade and Show Hauler are now offering motor coaches built on Peterbilt chassis as an option!
Standard Freightliner medium truck chassis. Probably their "top of the line" cab for the commercial trucking industry. But, sadly still a truck cab with ashtray and lighter!! Kind of surprising there aren't USB ports, but either of the power ports can easily be converted with an inexpensive plug in 12v to USB. Maybe there's a USB hiding in the glove box. I'd be interested in the turning radius. My guess is it will be a pretty wide circle. Sorry, not for us!
We chose to go with, Dynamax Force 37 TS HD. We ordered our 2022 last week, well have delivery in November of this year. Can't wait!!!!!
Awesome! Congrats!
A 37’ SuperC has a lot less living space than a 35’ ClassA because of the engine compartment in the front. The upsides to any SuperC are the commercial truck chassis (and towing capacity) and the serviceability of the engine.
Is a class C's length measured bumper to bumper like a Class A, or just the living compartment of the C?? Bumper to bumper a C will obviously have less interior so it's not really a fair comparison. A better interior space compare would be a 40ft C vs a 32 or 34ft A.
Tom Krause Bumper-to-bumper. Same with travel trailers, cars, vans, pickup trucks, etc. it’s the overall length of the unit.
ASHTRAY - Naw, coin holder!
Good Call!
OKH THANK YOU
@@todayissomeday Some people actually do smoke.
Its fun to look at these new rigs. The Kitchen is too small for the Sgt Maj.. She needs more space than that.
Agreed
That"s a Nice RV but if I had a choice I would have to go with the Dynamax Dynaquest XL 37.8 Ft. , a 650 HP engine and a full time left right and rear camera so you don't have to put on your signal to see whats around you and is a little cheaper then the Newmar
It's better than some people's homes it's the height of luxury.
That front cab would be a deal killer for me. No glass dash panel. Ash tray and lighter? That is all straight out of the 80s. While the 350hp is not underpowered that engine will work hard going through higher elevations with a tow. Hard pass. Oh, and lead acid batteries? You've got to be kidding me. This is something I would expect from Coachman or Thor, not Newmar.
Agreed!
The cab was made for a truck driver, not an RV driver. And like it or not, there are still a lot of older generation smokers alive.
@@tomkrause62 That is exactly my point. Pass. The chassis was designed to hall cargo, not be a home. It's a fail.
@@tomboard1 Depends on your application. If you want a cargo hauler with sleeping quarters then a real truck chassis, maybe even a tandem axle C would be my choice. If you want a house with wheels then a bread truck chassis is sufficient. Even As with "truck" chassis often have some real compromises built in that make them far less capable haulers.
Tom Krause you stole my line lol, and it’s probably shipped around the world, lots of smokers out there
I love my Super C ,the turning radius is great, the ride and drive ability is fantastic. It has more power than this rig does and more storage too. I think that if the only thing in the cab you don’t like is an ash tray and a lighter you’re reaching. That’s really not a big deal. If you want to spend a half a million dollars and want to see an Awesome Super C check out Show hauler !! You can customized them the way you want as long as you have the money. Anyway just my opinion, I would take my Super C over a class A any day!
We were just shocked to find them in the cab. We did like the layout of the cab.
What is the black object at the head of the bed, a head board with a mirror behind it, hard to make out, thanks, so glad I don't have that kind of money! LOL
I know you guys did videos on three other Super C’s, watched them all😊 I was hoping this one was a more in depth review on your favorite of those three to live full time. We have a Newmar DP, 2019 Ventana LE 4037, and we have not been impressed. We know that it’s their entry level DP but....had 36 repairs within a matter of months not counting all the times before waiting on mobile tech 🙁🙁 in various parks in Florida and Georgia. I know what everyone is going to say “you have to work the kinks out first year”
Possibly true but we thought Newmar did better than most 🙁🙁
We are actively looking at Super C’s but it won’t be a Newmar.
Newmar does make a nice rig. The Renegade is up there with there different price points as well. Newmar has way more outside storage. We are staying with our Tiffin.
Thank you for your review. I would be interested in seeing your review of a Showhauler Super-C. For the Newmar rig, I was impressed by some features but still surprised by the old-school lead-acid batteries and 80's style cabinetry and countertop. I like well-crafted wood and stone interiors but these seem really dated and without much imagination. Battleborn batteries (or equivalent) is the only way to go. LIPO4 offers twice the usable power in half the weight for the same footprint. On a completely different note, I would love to see a review of a "Cinderella" incinerating toilet (both gas and electric) as a way of eliminating the black-water tank and freeing up more storage. My last comment is that the rig is underpowered. It needs a bigger Detroit or Cummins to have a hope of towing big trailers.
We agree. For the price point we expected more...especially from Newmar. Never heard of the incinerating toilet....will look into it.
@@todayissomeday www.cinderellaeco.com/ca-en
Nice, great for two people. Biggest flaw is the under-powered HP, 350 is not bad if you keep your weight down and stay on flat ground, just go up hills, you’ll have to get out and push.
Very true!
Hi 👋🏻 , its a subscriber from Puerto Rico🇵🇷 !!!
Can you please make a video about the interiors of an ARV slide-in and then slide-out? To compare how useful are they with the slides in park and driving on the road.
We cant always do that when they are sitting in the lot for sale. Our videos do show our class A closed throughout our videos.
You, Me & the RV Thanks, I have just subscribe to your channel few days ago; your channel has such a great content, and in my future I want to become a full time RV liver, like you guys.
Thanks for answering!
Wish they had tv on televator so you could have picture window at dinette …for that price I think they should update a few things on the interior finishes but I did like that storage for tools on that back end as well…it still gets a 👍🏻
We live in a 2013 Entegra Aspire. Would like to see you preview an Entegra Accolade.
Lead acid batteries, cigarette lighter, and an ash tray? Does it come with a VHS tape player and eight track as well? Super Cs have so much potential as an RV but all seem to be designed like an oversized sleeper cab.
i saw those batteries and starting laugh,,, like is that from 20 years ago or what,, not even sealed,,, not even agm
When will you two be heading out west love to meet up, maybe Arizona this winter!!!!!
Great question.....we don't know where we will be next week! LOL. It will happen......just don't know when.
It has an ashtray and lighter because it's based on the semi-truck chassis.
That is not an ash tray, it is a gum an candy wrapper receptacle. Another great super c review. Thanks.
Right! LOL
To all that are saying its under powered at 350 hp need to learn about torque its at 1150 ft# and a super c will deliver more of that torque to the ground then any comparable class A.
Wow that’s a nice ride but you guys were correct a roll up vent and cigarette ashtray and lighter. Three things I never would have guessed would be in a coach for 350k.
Exactly
You guys wore same clothes in august as in november? lol I realize you did multiple rigs same day, just kidding. The group sounds fun, I just never felt like one of the Village People.
$340K, NO WAY! that’s insane.
Outside compartments: A retired, county worker, with a ‘beer’ belly, cannot get that low to do anything in those cabinets outside.
I didn't like where the television was located. Some people smoke cigars among other things.
I think you missed the 8-track cassette player under the dash...
For the price point they could certainly round off all those sharp edges and corners.
I prefer the Renegade if we were to go with a Super C, but I think we'll stick with our Tiffin Allegro RED 33AA. You're right about the interior room of the 33AA. With all the slides out it's very roomy.
BAI BAEYI CAT CONSUMA MOTORUL LA 100 DE KILOMETRI ?
We love Ruby so much more that that C
Buy one,You know you want too,but first look at the Renegade models the XL would be good
The batteries could be singe point fill set up to a feeder bottle.I would go to say the Newmar is the poor relation to the Renegade line of super c
We have reviewed a few Renegades....we do like them a lot.
Believe it or not, some folks still do smoke cigarettes, even while driving, and better to have an ashtray than flick a still burning cig out the window. Also easier to keep eyes on the road while lighting a cig using a dash lighter than a flame lighter. Dash cig lighter can also be used as a power outlet if one has the proper adapter. As a smoker, I would never consider buying a vehicle that didn't have both and ashtray and a dash lighter...
I see Newmar is still trying to burn through those wall clocks. Hopefully somebody at least got a note in their file over that choice.😜
The 80s called....
Son of Dad We took our wall clock that came with our 2006 27ft travel trailer and moved it into our 42ft new 5th wheel. You can’t find clocks with that mounting backing, normal wall clocks don’t stay on the wall. There is nothing 80’s about having a wall clock. 🤪
I don’t have a beef with all wall clocks, just that one!😉
Son of Dad 🤦🏻, lol.
Guys, in it’s regular life it is a truck. Many truck drivers of the big rigs still smoke, hence the ash tray and lighter. 😆
We discussed that after the tour.
Agreed they seemed to cut a few corners. For that amount of money you think it would have been the very top of the line. I wasn't impressed!
Way cool Super C! Way above my pay grade! Lol
Hi, Phil. To my knowledge I may be wrong though but the newer Newmar's come with a sensor on the steps. So, let's say if the steps are coming out and they hit a curb or even your leg they will automatically stop so they don't get damaged. Does that coach have sensors on the step?
We did not know that. Unsure if this rig had it. I didn't read it on any of the paperwork in the rig.
@@todayissomeday A lot of the newer Newmar King Aires do I think.
Well guys I'm going to buy a Super C but it ain't gonna be that one, like you it's out of my price range. The one I'm looking at is a about a foot shorter and $100,000 less money on a what you can buy them for basis not MSRP. It was nice to see what I'm never going to have though. Keep the good stuff coming.
Good luck on the search. We agree.....out of our price range as well.
OKH ASTEPT SA AMI SOSEASCA MASINA SI PLATFORMA AN ROMANIA
Yes i could live in it
Guys there’s smokers so it safer for the trees if there’s a ashtray just saying 😊
You guys keep doing all these reviews of Super Class C. Are you trying to sane something? Lol 😂
Not a chance. We kept getting asked to review them, we just couldn't find them and then BAM....they were side by side in my hometown in CO!
I like the Super C idea but the length doesn't work for National Parks. Definitely would consider for full-timing though.
Great point!
OKH THANK YOU
I am really surprised at the old technology. The 2800 watt inverter instead of the 3000 watt hybrid. Lead acid batteries ash tray cigarette lighter. Small engine, I can't see a 350 hauling 20k. What about solar wiring/charge controller? Sooner or later the RV industry needed to look at aftermarket upgrades and sales. Its pretty but it seems tech wise dated. But hey as always nice job on the review.
We couldn't agree more with all of these points!!
Wanting to determine if we want a fifth wheel or a C maybe watching you will help
You will know when you walk into it....it will feel just right!
Hey hope you did not stuck in the storms and staying covid free
We are staying safe way far away from the storms.
I could not find the link to the Renegade
@@happycampbell7517 click the "show more" button above......under our channel name.
hi guys i go by skip i would like to friends watch your videos all the i also are friends with watts on wheels take care and safe driving
Any coach builder who relies on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis such as Newmar, is stuck with a 1980s cab complete with ash tray and cup holders that fit a Styrofoam Big Gulp perfectly, but not your Yeti. It really is pathetic that you pay $400K for a really nice coach, but then have to settle for an el cheapo cab!
The interior wood/finishes look like they could be from 1998 in that rig. I prefer the style cabinets like you see in the new Airstreams.
Thay rig looks trapped in time in the living area.
CE CABINET ?
Wow. 340k for what appears to be a 1980's model. When is the last time you checked the water level on any vehicle's battery? But you do get a cigarette lighter.
We had those batteries in our Tiffin before the lithium upgrade.
Yeah, very 80's.
That’s not an ashtray it’s a coin catcher. 🤣
😂😂
Long live the ashtray for change
👍🏻👍🏻
Starting to see a lot of Super C videos on your channel. Not starting to get the itch are you?
LOL......not a chance. We had a ton of folks asking us to find and review the Newmar Super C's....we got lucky and found them both sitting next to each other.
It has an ash tray and lighter because it is on a truck chassis and a lot of truck drivers still smoke.
Did you mention the diesel tank capacity?
It is 100 gallons.
Good review and certainly NOT for me. Not nearly the room (storage and living ) as a similar sized Class A. We have MUCH more room in our Tiffin 37PA at only 3 feet longer. And at that price point we could upgrade to a Tiffin 40PA bus. You have confirmed my view that they look "tuff" but not practical for us. Keep safe guys.
We agree. Tiffin for us!!
Those are Truck Driver front ends. A lot of drivers still smoke
Have you seen it with white interior? Wow
No....will look for it.
ruclips.net/video/dRESt6I4hhE/видео.html
Agree with your assessment! Not a full time rig!
GOOD NIGHT THANK YOU
Not this one, I fell head over heals for the Supreme Aire. So, Phil & Stacy, which one are you getting? 😉
HA....sticking with our Ruby!!
Ok i almost spit my coffee out when ya showed the ash tray....haven't seen ash tray in over a decade in a vehicle...i guess it's illeagal in a lot of places to smoke in a car with your kids in it..talk about a time machine experience. USB or even better a full power outlet to plug in a laptop for the navigator.
Agreed!
Porsche still has smoking package options.. This is a Super C built on a freightliner M@-106 chassis. The M2-106 chassis is part of the FL med use truck line and not the RV chassis that FL makes. IMO this is a much better chassis than the RV chassis. I guess FL thinks their truckers still need a place ash their butts...
Thanks for the info on chassis
I thought the ash tray and lighter are "special order" from Newmar. That means they have to ask for it, which the dealer may have done. (Knows his market?) I love Newmars but I am not a fan of their Super Cs.
OKH THANK YOU
I'm sure it came standard. Both of them had them, we just missed it in our other review.
👍👍
Somehow I get the feeling you guys are in the market for a super C
LOL...not a chance. These were actually requested reviews.
Guessing the ash tray is a non American feature. Our Sprinter came with an illuminated ash tray and push lighter? So European 🤔
Just shocked.....hadn't seen one in a very long time.
coming from Europe I can confirm they all still have them here haha
I don't know about only having 350 HP, seems a little weak to me.
I love ash trays! It's for coins... right?
LOL
That’s what I use mine for. It’s also the home for my McDonald’s gift card I use frequently for a Diet Coke !😃💕💕
@@judithhayes4236 Best reply ever!!!!
Uhhh, the hitch rating of 20k is not an indication of how much it can tow.
LOL...a cigarette lighter and ashtray!?!? That is crazy.

I could live in it but to long I want 35ft or shorter.
That is the length of ours. Its the perfect size for us.
Just wished they’d go away with natural wood colours. Otherwise love those super C, safer than a class A
OKH THANK
I'm with you Stacey, kitchen too small & no storage space, no power in cab area, engine is too small for a 20,000 lb hitch, I'm not buying it.
nice,,, those lead acid batteries are junk,,, get some battle born lithium or something like them
