Hi guys, great video! I was excited to see this one pop up today because we live full-time in our 2017 Dynamax DX3 37RB (Rear bath). It has everything we wanted in our rolling home; factory solar, king bed, washer and dryer (separate and vented), residential refridge, mid-bath and rear double vanity master bath. We just upgraded to BB batteries and put in a Recpro recliner. We pull our Jeep and we're still 18.6k below our GCVWR. We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Dynamax. From one retired O4 (CG) to another, safe travels and hope to "see you on the road" someday!

Great video on comparison’s. I know when I say I’m not the only one that appreciates you two doing this for everyone. Not everyone can get to these things and you two help tremendously. Your videos are always enjoyable to watch. Another great job well done. Don’t take this the wrong way but the ends are awesome. Because of the blooper segment only. Thanks again and safe travels.

For us, a big advantage of a Super C Vs a class A is the safety factors by having the engine and lots of metal out in front of you. You have a significantly better chance of survival, in the event of a frontal crash, in a Super C. We purchased a new Jayco Seneca 37TS and love it! While the fit and finish is nicer in the Dynamax and Renegades, we just couldn't justify the extra $60k. It would be easy to add tankage in the pass-through area of the basement. The Freightliner S2 RV chassis is really nice and the Cummins has plenty of power when running with the Allison Transmission in the 2nd shift mode. Jayco modifies the chassis to make it even better than the stock chassis from Freightliner. We are not full timers thus, I am sure we have different views and requirements. They are all very nice! Great reviews...

My biggest plus to a Super C is safety. In an frontal accident a Class A only has a bit of glass and fibreglass which is a bad thing. A Super C has steel bumpers, Cummins engine and frame to absorb impact, plus many have air bags as well. The video you showed where the lady drove through the service bay door and got pinned in her Class A is a perfect example...😀

The Entegra is an upgraded Jayco. One of the drawbacks I find for a Super C is when the generator is underneath the bed slide. Many will run their generators in hot weather when lot-docking at Walmart and such. I looked at buying a 45 ft Haulmark Super C that had a 600 HP diesel with a 40,000 lb towing capacity.

Nice to see more Super C videos! We have a Seneca 37RB and I wanted to comment on the tank capacities. On the models that have 1 1/2 bath layouts have 2 - 40 gallon gray and 2 black tanks, for 56 gallons (1 -23 gallon and 1 - 33 gallon) but you still only have 72 gallon of fresh water. Since we boondocking a lot, this was one of the main reasons we went with this floor plan. Found you guys from Changing Lanes, keep up the good work!

Hey! Thanks so much for taking the time on the reviews. The three you showed are very reasonably priced and have great floor plans but as you pointed out there are features that are not taken into consideration probably for cost reasons. Also, you may want to discuss the features of the Freightliner chassis and serviceability of these Super C's. Those are huge selling points. I have been reviewing videos on the Renegade Classic by a dealer in Idaho. Though a significant price difference the quality differential is obvious. Would recommend taking a look at one. Thanks again and happy RV'ing!

Thanks for the tours. I have been living on wheels for decades and feel the very best rig for you and your significant other is the one that actually gets you on the road. I have friends that have been looking at RV's for many years and may NEVER actually settle on one model they feel perfect. Their search has turned into nearly a full time hobby. Always keep in mind that few stay with their first rig forever and the knowledge gained from being on the road allows their second rig to be a near perfect fit. Just a thought. See you in the boondocks!

My retirement plan is a Super C, I like that they’re like driving a truck instead of a bus. Also much easier to work on than a class A with those engines difficult to access. Great videos.

I’m glad you looked deeper for the outlets by the bed because I had that same situation in a class A and we couldn’t believe there weren’t any outlets so we looked further and found them. Most units that we’ve looked at have them somewhere close and some even have a C-Pap setup overhead. I like the Dynamax and I’ve always liked certain Seneca models. I see why you like the full wall unit Stacy, it does make it roomy but I worry about the full wall slides I guess because of the weight. Thanks for taking the time to show us these models.

Hey there!! Great video! As an owner of a 2019 Jayco Seneca 37RB, a Super C, I can attest that not every layout is the same. While one floorplan may not have what you are looking for, another layout will commit you to joining the super C family. I fell in love with the Seneca 37RB layout, the others not so much and for the same reasons you mentioned in your video. Yes, I have a RUclips channel dedicated to my RV travels and adventures, Eagles Quest Adventures, where I share my Seneca with all, including the updates/upgrades to suit our taste and our lifestyle. We just sold our Tiffin Phaeton for a Renegade 40’ Verona LE Super C. We LOVE it! Driving it is so easy. I love the Diesel engine in the front for the added safety and the quality of everything...Amish made cabinets are beautiful. Also love the bath and 1/2, aqua hot, and THREE doors. Renegade should be at the show, I would think. The thing we have had to adjust to is the under belly storage is not as big...but we purged (again) so it has worked out. 👍 sad to leave our Tiffin family, but the Renegade family is awesome also, and they take care of their customers, like Tiffin. 😎

Just in time... We are looking at trading our 43' Allegro Bus in on a Renegade XL 45'. One big difference is how much safer you feel driving the Super C. The storage under the body is really a big difference. Class C can't compare to our motorhome, but....that can be adjusted for. It's too bad Renegade doesn't have more dealers or we would probably be driving one right now. Thanks for the video.

I have to admit I had my heart set n an Entegra Anthem Coach and then started looking at the Super C's I like the Cs because of something you never mentioned. That is the included safety features like the side curtain air bags. These unlike coaches have to meet all of the safety requirements in the cab as a regular truck. This I think is a huge peace of mind. But I still find myself going back to the anthem.

Great video. So sorry you didn't look at Renegade Super C's. Quality of build and tank sizes blow the 3 you reviewed out of the water. Of course you need to add at least $100k to the price. We have a 2019 Renegade Verona LE LRB. 1.5 baths, and the larger Freightliner (M2 106) chassis. Many of the less expensive models are using the Freightliner M2RV chassis to stay within their price point. They have a smaller engine, transmission and a towing capacity of 12k pounds. The larger chassis can tow 20k pounds. We love ours, probably a bit pricey for use only 3-4 months a year but I like the feel of something well built. One other thing, service on the chassis and engine can be done at basically any place that services semi-trucks. This is not true with diesel pushers. Just some piece of mind if you break down in the middle of nowhere. Happy travels.

Our first rig though not a super C was a Dynamax Isata 3 with a full wall slide out. We picked the Dynamax after looking at Thor's, Jayco, winnebago and others because of the higher quality of finish work. Even though now owned by Forest River (not always a great product) it has maintained itself as a separate entity and has been able to still control quality. I think you saw the same thing on the Super Cs. We really liked our rig but found it too small for us for the amount of time we were spending in (4+ months at a time) so .....enter the Tiffin RED 37PA.. and love this one even more.
Great video and keep it up.
As to the Broncos I think we may have something to cheer about next year!

The Dynamax was Phil's favorite. But you can't go wrong in the Tiffin either. It has to fit your needs. Check out today's bonus video. I hope the Broncos capitalize on Lock's capabilities and shore up both O and D lines.

It's interesting, to see the differences in the 'likes' and 'dislikes' of individuals, and mine stood out quickly on all of the Super C's shown! As it's also something I don't have on my Tiffin Phaeton, and that is having all the necessary placement of buttons, on the steering wheel. That would include wipers, radio/GPS/Phone/Sound-up&down and anything else they could fit on there so I don't have to reach towards the dash, and can keep my attention on the road ahead of me! My last pickup truck had all that, and these unit's should consider doing the same! Many of the higher end Class A's have this feature, and something I feel would be important (to me). Also, I suppose it's an option perhaps, but I'd like the additional 'Safe T Plus' steering stabilizer, which would be another safety item! Like Phil, I'm a big proponent for large tanks as well, even as a casual boondocks, the more room for fluids, the better!

Dynamax, Need the bigger holding tanks. The last one (Bunks) can due double duty for storage (Quilting material) (sales materials for a sales rep) Some of us still work on the road. Presently our kitchen in the travel trailer is my office. I purchased it as I have 100GL Fresh and twin 85GL holding tanks. You go with what works for you. Love your vid's John

Great video. We liked that rig as well. It was great to meet you guys in person at the show. How would you expect a super C to drive compared to a Class A?

    • @todayissomeday
      @todayissomeday  4 года назад

They would probably ride as smooth or smoother than most class A's. Chassis and suspensions would factor in.

If you guys could mention the height of the rigs when you review them. It’s important to some of us. We only have a 13 foot door on our garage. Great video! You guys are getting good at this.

Enjoyed the walkthrough my favorite was the Dynamax of the 3 but the trade off in reduced basement storage to get increased towing capacity does not meet our needs, I think we will stay with the Class A

I like the first one, the third one then the middle one. Not a slide fan but the full slide kitchen could convince me! I don't care for the unfinished wood under the dinette seats and the limitations of storage in those compartments because of hoses etc. I Love convection instead of an oven. Such a better use of space! USB is a must at bedsides these days. Residential refrigerator is just ok in my book. I prefer a smaller one with a freezer and NO water and ice. We don't usually drink the water or use campground water from the tap for drinking.
Thanks for the tours! Great optionas out there that we never really considered! We will go browsing in the spring. It's only 20° here today and we're expecting snow 😜

Phil & Stacy, Love your channel, One thing to note. The Seneca & Accolade are really the same unit. You just toured two different floor plans. Entegra is just the Luxury division of Jayco. You will find they have the exact same floor plans available in both lines. Our preference is for the 37HJ..

We started out in a Jayco Seneca. I work on my own unit. While driving, we found the engine to be loud. With the generator in the back it would be loud at night while we were trying to sleep. The drive shaft really affected the basement storage capacity. We now have a Tiffin Phaeton class A

I prefer the A over the super C because of the giant view and same level seating with the rest of the rig. I like turning my seat around and making that part of the living room. I love the openness.

We did notice that the seat will turn to face the rest of the RV.
