Even in 3/4 ton I could see independent being ok but the 1 tons, dually or single I could see GM benefit from a Dana 60 solid axle front. Ford & dodge both have comfy coils up front that prove you don’t need independent up front for a decent ride.
I would never own anything with a computer, a diesel engine, or independent front suspension. 70s and 80s dodges and Chevy's are the only trucks that are built like a real truck, and Chevy is clearly the best out of those year models, dodge is a close 2nd and ford is just a woman's truck since day one.

It sends the torque straight down to the ground instead of back and fourth. That is the number 1 reason Semis use Inlines, not Vs.
The dodge hitch was higher than the gm which made more traction for it and less for the gm.. the back of the dodge was puuled down while the back of the gm was puuled up shifting the advantage the the one with more weight pushing down on the rear tires..

Hooked an 06 ram 1500 V6 6 speed my dad had up to my cousins 05 f150 4.6 auto. Both 2 wheel drive. My dad put oversized grappler tires on the back, he liked the nose dive look. On dry dirt I pulled the ford. Higher hitch and more grip with less power won.

diesel tech... best 2 trucks hands down.. 6.6 dmax with allison trans. and ford 7.3 stroker... both have less issues than any other engine... ive seen a 6.6 hit 1mill with just oil changes n glow plugs... one i saw hit 759k with JUST oil changes..idiots first vehicle... changed his own oil..never remembered the filter... wtf? and as for 7.3.. no bullet proofing.. like dmax6.6 both solid motors.. 7.3 only real issue I saw much of was water pump probs..
ram has more American parts than any other truck. most of Chevy's are from Korea. ram and Ford are made much more durable than the Chevy. my buddies 2013 Silverado Lt still has rear drum brakes. ram and Ford both use 4 wheel disk on every truck.
That's funny because my 2011 Chevy has 4 wheel disc brakes. The Chevy only has an Isuzu engine in it. Too bad ram has a crappy transmission to go behind that great motor.
+Graeman General motors has always built the duramax. Isuzu helped design the lb7 but in 2005 gm bought all the rights to Dmax (who builds the motor) it's built in a gm plant in morraine Ohio.

No way to tell that the Guy lied about broke axle. The Cummins would have spun the wheels a little if he was in 2wd.
If you zoom in the rear wheels are spinning and the front are not they are low profile tires they don't smoke like the chevys Mudd grips

Cash Swagberg Um, they're not. That motor comes in a lot of shit. Dodge trucks, Ford medium duty trucks, Freightliners FL60s and 70s, all have the 5.9 12V and 24V. People like you say 'Dodge Cummins'. That's not they're called. Dodge in no way, shape, or form has ANYTHING to do with producing and manufacturing the 12V 6BT 5.9 or the 24V ISB 5.9 that comes in their trucks.

diesel tech... best 2 trucks hands down.. 6.6 dmax with allison trans. and ford 7.3 stroker... both have less issues than any other engine... ive seen a 6.6 hit 1mill with just oil changes n glow plugs... one i saw hit 759k with JUST oil changes..idiots first vehicle... changed his own oil..never remembered the filter... wtf? and as for 7.3.. no bullet proofing.. like dmax6.6 both solid motors.. 7.3 only real issue I saw much of was water pump probs..

ram has more American parts than any other truck. most of Chevy's are from Korea. ram and Ford are made much more durable than the Chevy. my buddies 2013 Silverado Lt still has rear drum brakes. ram and Ford both use 4 wheel disk on every truck.
That's funny because my 2011 Chevy has 4 wheel disc brakes. The Chevy only has an Isuzu engine in it. Too bad ram has a crappy transmission to go behind that great motor.
+Graeman General motors has always built the duramax. Isuzu helped design the lb7 but in 2005 gm bought all the rights to Dmax (who builds the motor) it's built in a gm plant in morraine Ohio.
