    Duramax is a good motor but extremely limited by the soft front suspension. Even in 3/4 ton I could see independent being ok but the 1 tons, dually or single I could see GM benefit from a Dana 60 solid axle front. Ford & dodge both have comfy coils up front that prove you don’t need independent up front for a decent ride.

    • @hastyhillfarmand4x480
      @hastyhillfarmand4x480 Месяц назад

      I would never own anything with a computer, a diesel engine, or independent front suspension. 70s and 80s dodges and Chevy's are the only trucks that are built like a real truck, and Chevy is clearly the best out of those year models, dodge is a close 2nd and ford is just a woman's truck since day one.

Inline 6 means the cylinders and connecting rods go straight up and straight down, allowing gravity to aid in the power stroke creating a more efficient powerstroke. It sends the torque straight down to the ground instead of back and fourth. That is the number 1 reason Semis use Inlines, not Vs.

    tug of wars don't mean one has more power than the other. If one truck is taller than the other it will win because it makes a uplift on the other truck which makes less traction. But in this one it looks like they were hooked about even.

People like you say 'Dodge Cummins'. That's not they're called. Dodge in no way, shape, or form has ANYTHING to do with producing and manufacturing the 12V 6BT 5.9 or the 24V ISB 5.9 that comes in their trucks.
