My friend when he gets into a situation when he can’t reach enemy in close combat but he has a shotgun he says: “shotgun is a long range weapon” and tries to outsnipe a rifler
The only time this is useful is on short maps where the bombsites are close like Nuke. Other than that, maps like Mirage, Dust 2, and Cache have bombsites that are further apart meaning the only time you'll hear the sound of the ticking is when you're already on the right bomb site.
Number 7 is actually so OP when you are more of a close range rifler. I used that trick so often on CT B-side on Overpass, you just stick close to a corner and watch the ground for Ts.
There was literally nothing new (atleast for me) except that you can move the bomb with a football. And im a gold nova 3 who started to play the game in 2018

yea people dont really spray 30 ammo and not kill the enemy in any human elo. if youre low on cash buying a helmet just in case you get wallbanged is never worth it in that situation. there are corners and walls that you can hide behind and reload, or your teammates are there. you dont just walk into the open and duel it out.
Quick switching the reload, to my knowledge, wasnt to reload faster, it was to make the reload sound that the enemies hear shorter by cutting off the last sfx of releasing the bolt.

A nice fact is: *whenever playing with a BOT in your team (specially MM) and wanting him to drop you a gun, do this:* in the last seconds of the round chose the knife and stick with it until the round ends. Next round the BOT will drop the gun. Simple as that. Know when the bot has an AWP plus 8k and still doesn't drop? Those days are over. Thank me later :)

The AWP while crouching is the only weapon that has any significant asymmetry while peeking. A much more significant factor is ping and peeler advantage.
If i remember correctly every gun had a different reload time and anime cancel time which made the quickswitching possible.It is true that M4A4 indeed cant fastreload but some weapons can.

Just think of peek like this: all the guns are right handed, the gun is on the right so naturally peeking to the right exposes less body, (try it IRL on a door) vs peeking left with a right handed gun you will need to move your whole body across and around the doorway just to get the gun up (since you cant swap shoulders). You can try this IRL. Without shoulder swapping, do a left peek while ADS while holding a right handed weapon, then try a right peek. Technically, right peek being favored is somewhat realistic. This RH peeking favor is universal in every game except Hunt: Showdown which favors a left handed peak for some reason.
Did you know that on apolo there are these little buttons and if you stand close to them and press your use key there is a voice (or a sound) that plays and tells actual facts about the things in the showcase
51) if you want to really ninja difuse. Throw a smoke on bomb... then go close bomb throw a molotov on the smoke and tab the bomb at the same time. It blocks the difusing sound enemies can't hear you tab it.

The "quickswitch" is not to reload faster. it is to remove 50% of the sound cue when reloading.
The enemy always hears 100% of the sound cue. You can fake a reload with this technique
