For my first 1000hrs of the game from around 2013-15 i was an awper and only really advanced too gn4. I realized as i got older that i wanted to learn the game not just try to hit crazy clips and kills, so i began training with a rifle only and never touching the awp. Of course after becoming about as good with a rifle i started to practice both, and now sitting at a little under 4500hrs i can confidently say that in my casual play i dont have a preference. In serious matches like faceit ill focus on using the best weapon for the situation of course. The m4a1s is easily the best sounding gun in my opinion, its got a certain punchy and pressurized sound that just hits the right note for me.
High sensitivity ppl dont have such weaknesses, but i do still hate mdfkin spots where u gotta guess which side ur opponent is like mirage first window on b site, shadow-sandwich mirage a site

Isolate and kill. Put yourself in a position where you are exposed the least while holding a certain angle. Being exposed to 2 angles is better than five. It will make you stop saying "i can't do anything! I got shot everywhere!" Use smokes and Molly's too. 3. Pick up habits the other team has like they always do 3 long and 2 B, we should rush cat. Something a long the lines of that. 4. Practice with the M4a4 and AK. Easily the two most important guns in the game. Learn the recoil and you will quickly rank up. They are way better than any other guns. Learn deagle too. It will help your aim in general because of its high recoil and pin point accuracy. You will be tapping heads in no time. 5. Have fun. On a losing streak? Community. It isnt casual where you get swarmed at A, but competitive witg skins and no friendly fire. Maybe listen to music. I listen to music and i get 30 kills per game just from doing that. Not saying music gives you 30 kills. I am saying having fun and relaxing gives you 30 kills.

I want to play with M4/AK to be more versatile but I am extremely consistent with the awp so I prefer the awp edit: not anymore, I've become used to the ak, but have been underperforming with the awp
500 bots with ak/m4 and 1k bots with awp, I’m a main awper and to become a food awper you have to become consistent with the main rifles too because In certain situations it might be better to pick up an m4/ak then keep the awp

In clutches, I prefer the AWP because it one shots opponents. However, over the course of a game, I will use rifles more because I can get kills more consistently and get multikills easier.
Also a good tip, go outside and do some sport so your mindset is clear and so you’re getting some fresh air, exercises is also good that can for an example improve your wrists for flicking, because you are using ur wrists and then they wont get as rusty/robotic :)

So about the sensitivity.. For those who don't have a big mousepad I recommend you to don't use low sens ( like 1 ) because it would be really hard for you when you are in-game and you can't flick your mouse when in a fight. You can use higher sens like 2 or 3 maybe ( I use 2.5 rn ) and it'll be easier for you if you are a begginer. You can indeed use low sens on a smaller mouse pad if you are willing to play with it a lot and get used to it but that won't be easy if you are already used to your present sens. If you started to play CS and you played with low sens till now and you got used to it it's great but if you feel like you don't like it and you think you could do better with other sens then you'll have to change it.

If we talk about consistency, people should learn to lose and not stop playing after a bad game, but to keep a good, fresh mentality, getting ready for the next game. This is how you improve your skills, learn from mistakes and be better in those situations you messed up. Doing other stuff after a loss, might free your mind and relax you, but it will not improve your gameplay. I may not be among the best players in the world, but I have 2 accounts with The Global Elite on them, I play everyday with this mentality and I keep winning. Consistency comes from the mindset. If you try to constantly improve you will get there. I was playing the best gamers on EU on another game and could do same amount of kills against them. Ofc I lost as my teammates are not the same lvl as I am. That is the reason why I am watching this video as I am just getting into CS (played Valorant for a month for gold2). I prefer the AK47 over an awp or M4, I love the versatility of it being good at range with taps and up close it's better than an M4 imo. If you're an awper, there's so many ways around it like flashbangs, mollies and teammate baits
But the awp is such a high risk high reward weapon. High cost and being less versatile and easily countered is why you only have one awp per team. But the award of picking someone without taking a single point of damage is amazingly good. The range is also good and if ur a mobile awper then utility is useless.

It depends on if I'm T or CT really. More of an rifler on T side, to make room for plant. On CT side I like to apply pressure with awp and attempt to lockdown certain angles and pushes
just to let you know, almost no pros actually memorise the recoil pattern mentally. ive gotten pretty accurate with my spray because i learned by watching where my bullets go and corrected for them over and over until i got the muscle memory. there are probably other ways to get it down but mentally is very bad in my opinion cos almost no pros do it and it takes up too much focus to memorise spray patterns on the spot in the heat of the moment. ask most high tier players and they will tell you its a feeling (not that im high tier). i stopped playing cs for a while but when i did play it i would see my friends try to learn it in the wrong way and as a result alot of them couldnt use rifles very well so i was the one who got dropped the ak on ct side. maybe if you learn it temporarily it will work but dont use mentally memorising as a permanent tactic. learn it, practice it, hone in on your muscle memory and use that. i may not be the best overall but i do want to help newer players or even vets sometimes. glhf and remember... wan teps
yeah that is one thing that you cant learn right away, you have to 1) Memorize the map, 2) Know the routes and available rotations the enemy team can take, and 3) Develop your "game-sense" i.e. intuition. You learn all these things automatically, but only by playing for a while.
Honestly a lot of this can be summed up by experience, experience is the most valuable thing you could ever use to get better at anything, spots to check will be ingrained in your head after enough lead is, map knowledge will let you learn with every new game and map you explore, strafing will become natural once you’ve tuned enough hours and once you realize how fucked the bloom is on every AR, so if you’re stressing about what to work on first, just play the game and have fun

also to add when talking about internet is your connection... your upload speed can also affect your game play.... if you have slow internet your ping will be higher and also cause your game to upload at a lower bit rate.... other words slower connections means slower input to the server . just becuase fps wins games so does ping and response time of the equipment you have from your pc to your mouse and keyboard. wired vs wireless
I do prefer playing with the awp but I miss a lot of shot by millimetres like a lot of shots and its very tilting. furthermore also depends on what map I'm playing, if I'm playing train ill play b anchor with a rifle but say if I'm playing inferno I love playing aggressive awp to get an opening kills
im very good at awping but my rifling sucks so im playing with the ak or the m4a4 much more lately and i also think that rifling is much more reliable like when multiple enemies peek on you so you can kill them in just a spray instead of just 1 shot and to lose 4750$ after that
To be more specific with it, I like the AK-47, the M4A4, M4A1-S, AWP in that order. I dont use the awp because I always feel bad when I do and its a crutch for a lot of players who only use it
I prefer sniper for most of the game but I find myself performing better with good rifles like AK and M4s when clutching, especially after a bomb plant.
As an actual newbie to CS:GO, I've noticed the AWP is by far the most popular rifle among players, but I really can't understand why... On one hand, yes, it gives you a guaranteed kill if you land your shot, but it's EXTREMELY expensive, and for an extra $250, there's simply no reason to not buy a SCAR-20 instead (which is the most OP and effective gun in the game, at least from my experience with it... Automatic rifle with NO reloading time?! Awesome!!). Other than that, I much, _much_ prefer the SSG 08 in terms of rifles. It does the exact same job as an AWP and it's vastly cheaper (almost a third of an AWP's price), and even if your shot doesn't always give you an automatic OHKO, it deals a highly enough amount of damage to the opponent for you (or others) to take them out way faster/easier than with other types of guns. At least if you miss your shot, you won't lose a fortune on the next round.

I'm more confident with AR's due to the huge chance of death if an AWP shot is missed. The ability to take on any weapon in the game is in my opinion more important than easier long range kills.

I cant tell which one I pref, I always wanted ( and still do ) to be good with the ARs, but I'm never consistent with them but I enjoy using them, but I'm good on the AWP and am consistent with it
I play SMGs- less to lose *when* I die, and I'm not really good with AWPs or the Rifles. My best rounds are commonly Pistol and Half-Buy/Eco as a result.
good honest answer. However you really can only go so far with SMG's because NONE of them are effective long range, and you will die every single time you engage a rifler at a distance.

Use pistols when there are multiple enemies and use awp if there is a single enemy. (Note: If you use AWP more than any other gun and you have a good experience with AWP then use awp with two or more enemy.
There are a few methods of gamesense. I prefer to use logic and memory, everyone has their own strengths luckily for me i found my strengths pretty early on. There is no real way to fid your strentgh other than to try new stuff. Let me explain how using logic works -- A guy peeks banana with an awp -- He was successful all the other rounds -- I know he will be confident because his mind thinks that he is unbeatable in banana, if you outsmart him by playing passive, super aggressive or prefiring you can kill him without him even knowing what happened. To all the silvers if you find your strength you can go from silver elite to guardian elite in a matter of days/weeks
Also, i semi disagree that practice is the most important aspect, trying new shit is the most important aspect of cs:go in my opinion atleast, OFC practice is really important as well and after you find what you fancy then you can really sky rocket in wins

100% agree. Entry-fragging is a lot easier with an AK, and AWPing defensively forces the T's to either try their luck or rotate, eating up the clock.

My biggest problem when playing is that I find it hard to be aware of all the directions that enemies could be coming from when moving
yeah that is one thing that you cant learn right away, you have to 1) Memorize the map, 2) Know the routes and available rotations the enemy team can take, and 3) Develop your "game-sense" i.e. intuition. You learn all these things automatically, but only by playing for a while.
Bro sometimes i can hear people footsteps perfectly fine, but sometimes i cant hear maniacs running straight at me with a pp bizon
Honestly a lot of this can be summed up by experience, experience is the most valuable thing you could ever use to get better at anything, spots to check will be ingrained in your head after enough lead is, map knowledge will let you learn with every new game and map you explore, strafing will become natural once you’ve tuned enough hours and once you realize how fucked the bloom is on every AR, so if you’re stressing about what to work on first, just play the game and have fun
Dude the awp is the only reason why i still love counter strike. Why? Because im tired of inacurate rilfels and recoil that is higher than snoop dog at 4pm.
I love the awp but need to consistently grind the game to stay accurate. After a break I usually just use the ARs to warm up a wee bit

@@ymiras7881 I don't disagree that practice is required. It is definitely the most important method to improve at CS. All I am saying is that the title does not match the point of practice. Practice cannot happen "instantly"..

also to add when talking about internet is your connection... your upload speed can also affect your game play.... if you have slow internet your ping will be higher and also cause your game to upload at a lower bit rate.... other words slower connections means slower input to the server . just becuase fps wins games so does ping and response time of the equipment you have from your pc to your mouse and keyboard. wired vs wireless
I do prefer playing with the awp but I miss a lot of shot by millimetres like a lot of shots and its very tilting. furthermore also depends on what map I'm playing, if I'm playing train ill play b anchor with a rifle but say if I'm playing inferno I love playing aggressive awp to get an opening kills
im very good at awping but my rifling sucks so im playing with the ak or the m4a4 much more lately and i also think that rifling is much more reliable like when multiple enemies peek on you so you can kill them in just a spray instead of just 1 shot and to lose 4750$ after that
i could relate. in the morning when i have fully slept i play really good but in the afternoon after doing some stuff i cant play as good
To be more specific with it, I like the AK-47, the M4A4, M4A1-S, AWP in that order. I dont use the awp because I always feel bad when I do and its a crutch for a lot of players who only use it
I prefer sniper for most of the game but I find myself performing better with good rifles like AK and M4s when clutching, especially after a bomb plant.
I love both actually, I really love to play the AWP and hit insane flicks but I also love to play the AK because I feel more comfortable, more "safe".
In kind of bad with the awp so I after watching this video I practicted in deathmatch and will keep on practicing to get better with it.
I primarily play with rifles. It’s more affordable and allows for fast pushes & makes it easier to deal with multiple enemies
As an actual newbie to CS:GO, I've noticed the AWP is by far the most popular rifle among players, but I really can't understand why... On one hand, yes, it gives you a guaranteed kill if you land your shot, but it's EXTREMELY expensive, and for an extra $250, there's simply no reason to not buy a SCAR-20 instead (which is the most OP and effective gun in the game, at least from my experience with it... Automatic rifle with NO reloading time?! Awesome!!).
Other than that, I much, _much_ prefer the SSG 08 in terms of rifles. It does the exact same job as an AWP and it's vastly cheaper (almost a third of an AWP's price), and even if your shot doesn't always give you an automatic OHKO, it deals a highly enough amount of damage to the opponent for you (or others) to take them out way faster/easier than with other types of guns. At least if you miss your shot, you won't lose a fortune on the next round.

practice what you preach cos i dont mean to be mean but the first rule of movement is dont hold "w" while strafing and i can tell u are doing exactly that by the way you slow down when you strafe

I'm more confident with AR's due to the huge chance of death if an AWP shot is missed. The ability to take on any weapon in the game is in my opinion more important than easier long range kills.

I cant tell which one I pref, I always wanted ( and still do ) to be good with the ARs, but I'm never consistent with them but I enjoy using them, but I'm good on the AWP and am consistent with it
I play SMGs- less to lose *when* I die, and I'm not really good with AWPs or the Rifles. My best rounds are commonly Pistol and Half-Buy/Eco as a result.
good honest answer. However you really can only go so far with SMG's because NONE of them are effective long range, and you will die every single time you engage a rifler at a distance.
I can play both awp and rifle depending on what the team needs

Got mad tilted today. I got prefire 1 shot for 3 rounds in a row and when I watched my teammates 2 enemies came jumping around the corner he was holding.
I prefer the AWP because it is one shot body, and since i have descent aim, i usually kill everyone when using the AWP
I just can't figure out how to no-scope with the AWP. Like the bullet goes the opposite direction I aim..

i usually prefer awp in ALMOST every scenario..but it is situational..i do M4-S or galil for T because my spray control isnt good enough for the AK too tho

I prefer the M4A1-S. It's nice and silenced and is a decently powerful weapon. I'm more consistent with holding angles with the M4A1-S
i use the Assault Rifles a lot because i always get into close range fights but i use the awp at some situations

I'd say I'm decent, but what I really struggle with are headshots, and my aim, I am not constant with any gun, but I only have around 200 hours into CS:GO so I probably just need more practice

im playing cs go on a computer which was build 10 years ago. On cache my fps drops below 70.. on dust i have around 90. my screen is very old and has only 60hz. And im playing very good at it.. can you imagine what happend when i played on a computer which had a good equipment?

I prefer assault rifles, i just feel they are more versatile than the AWP.
i prefer the assualt rifles, im not really an awp kind person because i like to rush and i dont like to stay in one place and shoot people from that place.
Use pistols when there are multiple enemies and use awp if there is a single enemy. (Note: If you use AWP more than any other gun and you have a good experience with AWP then use awp with two or more enemy.
There are a few methods of gamesense. I prefer to use logic and memory, everyone has their own strengths luckily for me i found my strengths pretty early on. There is no real way to fid your strentgh other than to try new stuff. Let me explain how using logic works -- A guy peeks banana with an awp -- He was successful all the other rounds -- I know he will be confident because his mind thinks that he is unbeatable in banana, if you outsmart him by playing passive, super aggressive or prefiring you can kill him without him even knowing what happened. To all the silvers if you find your strength you can go from silver elite to guardian elite in a matter of days/weeks
Also, i semi disagree that practice is the most important aspect, trying new shit is the most important aspect of cs:go in my opinion atleast, OFC practice is really important as well and after you find what you fancy then you can really sky rocket in wins
