Wish I’d never had gall bladder removed- docs did tests and said it was low functioning-must come out. Surgeon got the gall bladder and also “accidentally” totally severed my main bile duct! This was not detected until almost a week later (duct had a clip on the severed end or I likely would not be here). Long, expensive road to recovery after many more tests and procedures plus major surgery to build a work around for the bile duct function. Was given NO information on what was to occur --- I'm now 86 and have had NO problems. (did suffer 10 years prior to the surgery, was told I had an ulcer). I saw him multiple times, where he told me he wouldn't take it out. I finally tearfully begged him to remove it, and he removed it the same day. US healthcare system is awesome in that way!
After the surgery, he said my gallbladder was totally abscessed and could have gone septic within days. He said my condition was absolutely life threatening.

Struggled with gall bladder attacks and stopped all dairy and artificial sweeteners. Watched all fatty oils closely. …found I can consume “organic” dairy without having an attack. Also was able to consume “organic” beef, without having an attack. Vinegar and fresh squeezed lemon is part of every day meal planning. I can not tolerate fast food. Thanks for the information. I had a GB attack after doing uninformed intermittent fasting. I chose to keep my gall bladder because everything was back to normal after the large stone passed. I ate less fatty foods and more veg. Two years later, I took the medicine for the other big ‘c’ after getting it from a relative’s exposure. Gallstones is one of the side effects of the medication. Hospital let me sit in pain for a day, passing the stones, having pancreatitis before giving painkillers. Again, they tried to railroad me into removal surgery and something inside told me it wasn’t right. Even the nurses who cared for me quietly advised not to do it. I went home after arguing with teams(yes, TEAMS) of doctors coming by to pressure me into surgery. I realized surgeries were down and the docs wanted to really perform one for their residents😂.
Got a second opinion from a GI doc who prescribed some stone breaking drug and another surgeon. By then it’s been months and I was back to normal. That was nearly three years ago. Eating better and staying away from unnecessary medications for me has helped tremendously. I’ve only had my seasonal allergies and one cold during all of this time since 2020.

I had my gall bladder out 29 years ago and was told exactly that, you don’t need it! Knowing what I’ve learnt now I am wishing I still had it. Strict high fat carnivore now, 2 years. Took me 6-8 months to adapt to all that fat and now I am fine. Just the occasional issue but feel much better now.

Me too. Had my gallbladder removed 22 years ago. Just recently I started month seven on carnivore and my digestive system is finally coming around. First month was absolute hell! The fats would just run right through me. Basically I couldn’t leave the house for long periods. I almost abandoned the diet but marched on. Glad I did. I still struggle with bacon have been avoiding it. Feel best on the lion diet. Eggs with a couple tablespoons of butter once in a while seems to be okay. However, nothing replaces consistently eating ribeye, porterhouse, or 73/27 ground beef.

I did fine for about 10 years and then I started having issues at the same time as perimenopause started. It got worse as I entered actual menopause. My doctor recommended taking digestive enzymes. I didn't have any gallbladder symptoms until it went gangrene. Emergency surgery to remove it resulted in it rupturing in my abdomen, spilling contents everywhere. 8 hours on the op table to clean it up. A year later (2023) I had hepatic/liver abscesses and sepsis. A week in the hospital and they removed 4 more stones from my liver bile ducts and had to remove a bit of the liver. A year later, I sit here, with the same exact symptoms that have returned, but no apparent abscesses at this time. I feel like I am being told to wait until they can "see something"...I'm anemic, elevated ALP (200) and nauseated, pale icky stools, with nightly itchness and fevers...but because they cannot see anything on a CT or MRi, I'm being told not to worry, that they'll keep an eye on things come back in 6 months for another scan. My God...I'm trying to head this off at the pass, but I'm at a loss

For anyone watching these gallbladder removal videos make sure you understand WHY you're having the gallbladder removed before avoiding the procedure. For instance, if you have biliary dyskinesia you are already experiencing inefficient or no bile + swollen gallbladder issues. The gallbladder removal can be an improvement because it might allow bile back into your system that was previously blocked and it removes the swelling issues that occurred.

    • @pam5389
      @pam5389 5 месяцев назад

I had biliary dyskinesia and it has reversed ( I had a recent hida scan and it's fully functional again 🙏). I also don't have sludge anymore just small gallstones. But I was told by a surgeon that they didn't know what causes it and that many patients that have their gallbladder removed with this still have the same problems after their gallbladder is removed. So I took his advice and didn't get it out. It was over a year of taking digestive enzymes , ox bile, different bitters and nac but I still have it. Yes I do still have gallstones and had a recent bile duct blockage but no infection and it worked it's way out . I have very small gallstones.

Dr Berg! I had major pressure & pain on my gall bladder when i found your videos. Definitely had a problem starting there. I bought your gallbladder formula and all the pain went away. After i finished the bottle there was no problems. A few months later, it started to feel pressure there again so i went the cheap method and just bought some oxbile on amazon. It sorta worked and releived pressure but would come back a couple days later. After going that route like 2 months till the oxbile was gone, the problem still persisted.
So i had to get another one of your blends. This was like 2 months ago. After just a week, your mix had once again made all signs of the problem gone again.

Great info! Wish I would’ve had this info before my gallbladder was removed. I’ve had many problems since. Was having lots of pain so I went gluten free and that was amazing for me. Within few weeks I got so much better with pain. That was beginning of Dec. Still had lots of stomach issues with stuff I ate. I’ve been eating healthy for months. And was eating somewhat healthy when I had it removed. I watch ALL ingredients I use. I don’t do seed oils and cook everything. I recently gave up most sugars, like honey, coconut sugar, dates etc. also, gave up cheeses. Doing goat cheese tho. I’ve been doing fermented stuff like Keifer, sour krout, quality Greek yogurt and bone broth. Started taking Seed a month ago too. Started with castor oil liver packs nightly few weeks ago and I’m seeing great improvement on my gut.
I decided to go to doctor because I’m not digesting my food. I have good bowl movements but not digested. Did blood work and pancreas numbers are high. Had Ct scan and they didn’t see anything. Had recheck two weeks later and number was a bit better but still high. So now I go see gastrologist next week. I’ve been second-guessing that decision, but I am not sure how to handle the non-digested foods, although I’m feeling better and other ways, and I can feel my gut healing.
I’ve worked so hard to get to this point, and heal my gut up, but I just can’t seem to figure out the undigested food in my bowel movements movements.

I had my gallbladder removed and told that it was “sickly”, no stones. Constipation has been my life, even before the removal. I was also diagnosed in 1982 with Type 2 diabetes, took meds until the end of 2022( I control with herbs, like Berberine, and herbal teas). A1C now is 6.5. Considered taking bile salts, but haven’t. I’ll ask my PCP, who practices alternative medicine. Thank you Dr. Berg! Your videos are always helpful! ❣️

I have cut all pop (soda), junk food, bread, beef of any kind, dairy and other things. I now live on black beans, chicken, turkey, romaine lettuce and have recently added bean sprouts, cole slaw (as an add in without sauce) and sauerkraut just to have variety. All gallbladder and pancreas friendly.

Wow! I’m always learning more and more from you than I ever have from all my doctors throughout my life. I have had stomach issues since I can remember. It started more so when I fell off my back deck steps on a rainy slippery Sunday morning. I hit the 8th step, busted 3 ribs, and collapsed a lung. In shock even drove myself to hospital. Returned back to work, 2 1/2 months later, but was still having pain on my right side. Everyone kept telling me it’s just your ribs are still healing, but the pain kept getting worse. Three hospitals later, only one suspected it was my gallbladder. They referred me to see this gallbladder specialist, with all these appointments, it seems like it was forever of getting any help for this. Omg eight months later, the doctor says to me, I’ll never forget this, oh I see you’re still holding your side? I’m thinking, REALLY?? Did he just say that? I’ve been in agonizing pain working through work with this, and he says I see you’re still holding your side? He says because your gallbladder is only working 3%, and it has to come out.. I still remember that pain.
This is why I do things naturally, to what’s put on this Earth to heal our bodies.
I just wish you were around back then for me .. IBS/ulcerative colitis. I can’t have gluten or dairy. I have huge gut problems to the point of not wanting to eat. So it sounds like I need to start with Bile salts then first? If that doesn’t work then, TUDCA. THANK YOU very much, for helping, and educating us on getting to the root cause, to live our lives pain free. 🥰👍

Almost 30 years ago,I had my gb removed. However, the doctor accidentally cut the main bile duct, causing bile to leak into the abdomen. During a reoperation, part of my intestine was stitched up to the liver. They also mentioned there was inflammation in the gb and I didn’t need it.
I’m incredible grateful to have survived. However, I still experience gallbladder pain, which now manifests in my liver.
Thank you for always useful knowledge😊

I'm so happy i found your channel. I was supposed to have my gallbladder removed July 2023 and I decided to cancel. I started going to the chiropractor and taking your gallbladder function and tudca. I haven't had gallbladder pain since. My gallbladder was functioning at 17% and now no issues. My cholesterol was creeping up and I'm sure it was because of my gallbladder problems. I'm curious to see what it'll be at my next physical.

So glad I found this video because I just had my first baby in January and had to have an emergency c-section. I was crying and dreading another surgery only 3 months after my c-section. Gallbladder was removed after cancer diagnosis/treatments, when my oncologist recommended it, as it showed a few gallstones and sludge. No worries, since I was "put through the mill", on a super intense chemotherapy regimen, to eradicate the destructive tumor in my head (hard palate). That was in 2009, and ive never noticed a difference in my health, nor digestion. At the current age of 60, I still remain healthy and active, and have never been on any maintenance medications, other than vitamin supplements that support natural aging.

I was told i needed my gallbladder removed 15yrs ago due to overly large stones. Turned out i didn't have gall stones at all. My gallbladder was 100% calcified. Not the average situation/it had to come out, but my whole body has been a nightmare since. Including an enlarged liver and a ball of interior scar tissue the size of a large orange.
I can not eat 90% of food anymore. And oddly enough, all of the healthy foods make me the sickest.

I consulted a surgeon at KP who recommended removing my gallbladder due to moderate sludge. I was surprised to learn she wasn’t aware of TUDCA, which I had been taking for the past two weeks. I’m convinced TUDCA has kept me pain-free for the last four days and reduced the chance of recurrence. Surgeons are trained to recommend surgery, and from a statistical standpoint, it often has a clearer outcome compared to trying other treatments. Dr. Bergs information is giving my bladder a chance 😂

I had my gallbladder removed maybe... 10 years ago? I had to be rushed to the ER about 5 times for gallbladder attacks (stones)... so painful, one doctor lady told me the pain is worse than giving childbirth. I had a laparoscopic surgery and I've had no side effects. I can eat anything. OK, maybe I digest food a little bit slower, since I now rely on the constant drip, rather that purging all of it from the gallbladder at once. But honestly, I couldn't be happier. I hear that some may suffer from prolonged pain, but I'm all good. You might want to eat a just a little bit smaller portions at a time, but that's beneficial for everyone. I don't really watch for anything different than before. I guess I got lucky with a good doctor and a good surgery. If you're dealing with the option now, I would of course opt for the stone breakup if it can be successful, however. Surgery should always be the last option.

8 years ago I had a severe gallbladder attack that was beyond painful and I was rushed to the ER. I didn't know what was wrong with me? I only knew that the pain from 1-10 was a 12! The Doctor in the ER said that I was having a gallbladder attack and that I needed to have the stuck stones that was causing the severe pain removed. He said that my gallbladder needed to be removed and to make an appt. with a specialist, So I did, but the specialist I was recommended to would not answer a few simple questions that I had. That threw up red flags to me! The first simple question I asked him was; What would happen if I decide to keep my gallbladder and eat a more healthier diet? The second question was; What type of diet or complications to expect if I decide to have my gallbladder removed? The third question I asked the Dr. was; Wouldn't my liver have to work overtime due to the missing gallbladder that helps digest our fats?! I was very polite when asking these 3 simple questions to him that he refused to answer and said back to me with a loud boastful voice and a snare on his face; It's Your Life Do What You What With It! I said politely back to him; You know your right! My discernment that the Good Lord gave to me answered all my questions for me and He said to run!!! I'm So grateful that I listened. I am so very Thankful that I still have my gallbladder. The specialist is use to people being sheep to the slaughter and just doing what they tell them to do without batting an eye because it's Big money for them. I believe most Doctors today despise critical thinkers that like to do their research first. Now when I feel my gallbladder acting when I eat something it doesn't like, which is very few, I drink lots of organic apple juice, with fresh squeezed organic lemons and Braggs vinegar, I will sometimes down two teaspoons of Epsom salt when I feel like a bad one coming on and also rub castor oil over the lower half of my stomach area, I then place a piece of plastic wrap over the area I rubbed the castor oil because castor oil is very sticky before placing a warm water bottle over the area while laying down resting for 20 minutes or so to let the castor oil do it's magic. I also do a parasite and gallbladder flush every year or so. I'm so Thankful I still have my gallbladder. Thank You Dr. Berg for all your valuable information and being such a Blessing to all of us! God Bless!
