@@antoniosp3713 well, his powers does have a connection with his appearance in this context. He would not possess Gwyndolin’s spells (the arrows) for example, or the lifehunt scythe.
So underrated song. Also I love how it gets louder and more intense it just gets beautiful.

Definitely my absolute favourite of the Tone Variations, love the tragic and sad tone it emphasises, just the way I want Dark Souls to be served (or is it my souls being swallowed by the game and that music ?)

This... is disturbingly good revision music for my uni finals and for the life of me I cannot understand why. Still, you did an amazing job!
I realized, that this boss is a very poor one. Imagine, you walk into a holy cathedral, killing everything that's moving. And then at the end, you meet the deacons. You kill every single one of them for a little doll. My question now: Is it worth to take so much lifes... to get a toy?
They were already dead and are simply undead, their saint was a murderous cannibal, they protected this saint, the "toy" is the only way to kill said saint and I could go on if you aant me to.
It's supposed to be disappointing because we expected Aldrich to be there

That does make perfect sense to slaughter them all, evil beings corrupted by the Deep who adored a creature eating men, "so many" in fact, that "he bloated like a drowned pig", with no virtue, and I know Gwyndolyn was kind of a bad guy in DS1, but I can't help but to feel bad for him in this game

Well, i just mess around with audio settings until i find it good ! i think i made the pitch higher and added echo in this one..
But i don't have any education / knowledge about music itself :)

This fits the tone better, plus i assume 99% players rush this boss fight so it also fits its rythm !

so what did you do to it ?l
Modified the speed and the pitch, and added a bunch of filters to make the quality somewhat decent, because as soon as you change the smallest thing, the track goes berserk and it sounds awful.
Sometimes i add an echo for a "religious" feel, and sometimes i add an effect that makes the music sound more "brutal", like i did with the nameless king ost.
Go check it out, you'll see what i mean :)

This has nothing to do with tone. All you've done is increase the pitch a little. Probably used Audacity to do this after downloading the original youtube video.

Tone is more the overall noise or sound that an instrument makes.
Pitch is just the frequency.
