Happy to say I was there. I've followed Judas Priest since the Sin After Sin album, and been lucky enough to see them live through most of the tours since 1980 (yep, I'm old. And I rock. Bite me). I heard the new Avenged Sevenfold album, scored some tickets, went with my neice (old, remember) to the NEC and loved every second of FFDP and Avenged. Rob Halford rocking up and knocking the shit out of it just shows that us old timers aren't fossils, we're granite, the hardest rock of all. Best. Gig. Ever.

I was here too, massive A7X fan and a big FFDP fan too, but when Rob Halford walked on stage, having been a Priest fan all my life, I nearly collapsed through sheer awesomeness!!!
This band is very good... And To see Rob Halford THE GOD of heavy metal.....Is really fantastic !!!!

I said to my Mum a couple of months ago "Bet Rob Halford turns up for Lift Me Up". I wish I HAD bet on it. I could have made some cash for Christmas!!!! Best live show this year by a mile and it's so great that bands that come to Birmingham are so excited to be there because we are th ehome of heavy metal.

Our annual 2 day concert will take place on Aug, 1 & 2, 2015, (11 am - 11 pm ).
This year’s theme is: Acoustic / Country Day's & Blues / Rocking Nights.
Featuring a Fund raiser “Motor cycle Show & Shine Contest” with 100% of the proceeds from the Motor cycle Show & Shine Contest Entrants (Riders & passengers tickets purchased at the gate) going to:
Blind River Early Learning Centre, (ALL STAR CHILDREN SERVICES INC.)
Our goal continues to be providing a healthy all ages family & community activity, also collecting CANNED FOOD DONATIONS for the local food bank.
In addition to our goal we make a commitment to raising awareness of and supporting Local Businesses. In order to meet this goal, we are asking for donations & sponsorship from local / regional businesses and community leaders such as yourself. Your financial participation in this annual event will be supporting families in our community as well as the economic development and growth of the North shore district.
A drop-box for canned food donations will be promoted at the gate on days of event (11am-11pm).
As an individual, you can contribute by purchasing a ticket and making a canned food donation at the gate on your way into the event.
As a business, your donations will be recognized at our event in several ways such as being displayed on our Donor board at the event, being announced to the crowd during event and listed on our web site and in a thank-you to donors / sponsors in a newspaper after event.
Your name or company name will also be placed on materials that advertise the event; as well you may provide banners / materials that publicize your business at the event.
Since activities start the first week in August, our deadline for collecting: funds / product donations / gift certificates / advertising material / etc... is July /24/ 2015.
