Detailed my coworkers car yesterday(a single mom) and when she came to pick her car up I offered to maintain it monthly and she happily accepted! hopefully the start of something good. Im trying to specialize in interior cleaning as I dont have a good means of exterior cleaning(pressure washer, mitts, etc) and the water here is insanely hard and near impossible to keep spots off unless you know what you are doing (i do not :P) Your channel has been invaluable, thank you.

That is a lot of work for a maintenance job. I would charge the regular price if I had to pull a drill and a brush. I maintain a car with a detailer. If it gets dirtier than that, its a higher charge. My customers know that. A customer will give a super dirty car as a maintenance. Get the customer used to extra charge when you have to pull extra tools or products.

Subscription Based model is the key. Its sustainable income rather than chasing customers.

When you get started, you have to get new clients and reviews. The goal is then to keep them coming back with good customer service.

So I just came across your channel and subscribed. I have a question for you. I'm looking for a long throw polisher that doesnt stall easy. Don't want to spend 500 but 300 is ok. I'd like one that has the power not to stall on edges or when i putting a little pressure on it for wet sanding. Iv used dewalt rotary for a while but I'm looking to find a dual action with the power I need. Thanks for any help you can give me

Hi Wilson, I'm thinking about investing in The Optima Steamer with the diesel boiler. I'd love if you could share your thoughts on this machine and it's applications.

Better to work for the same set of customers, when you get beat up roughed up vehicles that take a ton of labor the likelihood that those people are going to come back within a month is likely nill and more like a few years with another beat up, disaster detail.
In business for 5 years. I've noticed it.

I only do maintenance clients. Set the prices high too. If they miss the appointment they still get charged for the month.

Is there a big price difference for a maintenance customer as opposed to a one time or first time customer?

Luke is a vulture. A salesman not a servant. anytime you break out a steamer it's only for theater. It does more harm than good.if you want to make money in detailing just be honest and humble and don't b******* your customers. Nobody's looking for a miracle they just want an honest person to show up and give an honest effort. No gimmicks
