- This is a ride-along adventure from Rehoboth Beach to Lewes to Cape Henlopen and back to Rehoboth Beach. This 15 mile trail includes the new(er) trail through Gordon's Pond and the Junction Breakwater Trail--absolutely beautiful trails.
It also doesn't hurt that this was such a gorgeous day.
Mrs. Ride Along Adventures is your tour guide for a change! :)

I'm addicted to fatbikes! I was stoked to hear your riding one at the beginning of this video. The videos your making are very entertaining for fellow cyclists. Thank you!
Glad you enjoy the videos. Fat bikes are fun for sure.
Thank you for this informative video! We will be in Lewes in Mid March. Do you think its too cold to cycle - Thoughts? Not as much an avid cyclist as I used to be however, I hope to do more of it starting right now.
Mid-March can be all over the map weather wise. I’d say dress appropriately or be prepared to dress appropriately. Lewes is such a beautiful area. It’s worth being a little cold to see it by bicycle. 😊
I’m here today (May 23,2022). The parking lot is all torn up due to construction BUT there’s still plenty of space and there are detour signs to get you to the path.
Is this trail mostly gravel? Looking for a loop trail to ride with my road bike while staying at Dewey Beach
A mix. Gravel through the park, asphalt roads and paths. However, I see a lot of road bikes on this trail regardless. It’s pretty packed down.
I saw her looking at her watch. She is on a mission.
Lol. Always, David. Always.

Another great video, what a gorgeous day. Have you ever ridden the Katy trail in MO? I want to try to fit it in sometime next year.
Are you monitoring my computer????? I was JUST researching the Katy for this summer. 😂
maybe we could share details. I'd really like to do it sometimes soon as well. Seems very similar to the GAP in many ways. it's a serious drive from Delaware but it's worth it. hit me up at contact@ridealongadventures.com if you'd like to compare notes.
Do you have a GPX file or Strava link to share? My parents live around here and would like to do this ride myself.
Sorry, I don’t but here are some links that might help you:

@@RideAlongAdventures I have a friend from there who is heading back for a visit, and he was interesting in the trails in the area. I think I was able to generate a reasonable accurate map based on the your video. I had to make a guess about the path you took thru the campgrounds at Cape Henlopen, but I think the rest should be close. Do you want it linked?
@@dimitriosfotopoulos3689 sure! Thanks!!
So is "Speedy" training for the Tour de Delaware?
She’s not but she should. My son and I do it each year. Have you done it? I think I’m signed up already for 2023. It’s a great ride although we made a wrong turn last year and dropped 15 miles. 😉
@@RideAlongAdventures Hi! I am watching the video again for the tenth time I think because it looks like the move to Delaware is going to happen. I have emailed you but in rereading the posts and enjoying the video I was just joking about the Tour de Delaware. However your reply makes me think it is a real thing. Is it? Oh how fun. I will look and see if you have any videos on it. Hope I get to ride with you around Delaware soon.
How many miles round-trip?
The entire loop is between 15-20 miles depending on where you go in Lewes and Rehoboth. The official map says 15 miles. destateparks.com/wwwroot/maps/cape-henlopen/regionalloop15.pdf
Thank you
