Family Bike Ride Through Coastal Delaware - Junction Breakwater and Gordons Pond Loop

- In this Video: We bike to the start of the Junction Breakwater trail in Rehoboth Beach Delaware and then we bike the trail to Lewes. We then bike through Lewes to Cape Henlopen State park where we bike to Gordon's Pond Trail. We bike Gordon Ponds trail back to Rehoboth Beach and then we bike back to where we started. As someone with a disc bulge, I'm incredibly jealous. Would love to do these trails one day. For now, I'm grateful to be able to watch someone else do it!

I feel like as a fellow disc herniation victim I have to response to your comment, hope your disc bulge got better. I too had a disc herniation last year around November ish and I am still taking it easy right now. I am planning on biking this easy trail shown in the video next month with my family and it seems to be moderate/easy enough for me, I will report back after! Wish you all the best!

I've seen people ride different looking bicycles that seem easier to balance on - like two wheels in back and one in front.
Nice ride. We’re like you, we just have regular bikes 🚲 nothing fancy. Sometimes riding a bike is a nice change to walking. 🤗
Yes, we have the bikes but don't always use them. Biking more was something we are making an effort to do more this summer.

That’s a serious bike ride for younger kids. So how did everyone do? Were there a lot of sore legs? 👍
My daughter was working, so just our 13 year old son came with us. He did great! We have been working up to it, kind of training with smaller rides. It helps that the trail is very flat too.
