I was two slow on the previous video . The Monster that you asked about happiness and how to get more subscribers. Totaly cracked me up. I am riding alobg with your older rides. I really enjoy these Delaware rides!😊😊
Glad you like them. Delaware is a wonderfully bike friendly state. The southern area (beneath the canal) is gorgeous countryside. And the beaches are fantastic. I’ve been here 20 years now and I have really grown to love it. I’m thinking of going back and redoing some of these rides with random history and other nonsense. Thanks for watching.
You're a braver man than I. Riding on those narrow roads with no shoulder and then in all that traffic made me nervous as hell and I'm just sitting at a desk watching. Glad you made it safely.
You’re welcome, Robert. I feel fortunate to live in such a bike friendly state. If you’ve got time to waste, here’s another: ruclips.net/video/8o4IKfgZQYc/видео.html
Thanks for uploading the video for Delaware and the GAP rides. I am a life long DE resident and have high hopes to go ride the GAP/CO from Pittsburgh to DC soon. Your videos are inspiring. Just watched all 2 hours of this video and the whining about the wind direction is comical. Made me smile. 8). Thanks again.
Glad you enjoyed it. I love that ride to Dover but that wind was just killing me. 😂 We’ve got some great rides in our area. And we are fortunate to have so many cool places within a short drive. Including the GAP C&O! Thanks for watching.
Another great video. Started it late last night and finished today. Again I appreciate you taking the time to make these. A lot different than here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of N.C.
Would you mind putting how long these adventures are? I know you show a map of where you are going, but knowing how much time to devote to such a ride would be good. I know everyone's pace is different, but it would give a good starting point. Same with your last video where you went along the towpath along the Delaware. I'm fairly local (Columbia, MD) so these jaunts could be places I or my son and I could go. We are JUST starting out on biking and I would love to get to more rail trail locations. Thanks.
Sure! That's a great idea. I'll start adding that into future videos but I can definitely add that to the descriptions. You/we are fortunate to live nearby so many great rail trails! :)
@@melissasinclair9303 I’m normally a 14-16 mph rider. On this ride, with all the wind, I was pushing to keep at 10. I’ve added time estimates on the video descriptions-thanks again for the suggestion.
Is this a marked trail from end to end, or did you need to follow a Strava route to navigate? Living in MD, I would like to add this one to one of my summer rides.
Well, Rt 9 is well marked after you get to New Castle but, no, it's not an official bike trail. I'd be glad to share directions. I'm thinking of putting some cue sheets on my website for these rides. Any routes in MD to share? I'm needing some summer rides also. Now that the weather has opened up, I'm going to repeat this ride and take a second day to Rehoboth Beach. Maybe a third to Ocean City.

lol…yeah, Miles the monster is a fountain of wisdom. 😂

Delaware is pretty chill with cyclists. Especially in the lower half of the state. I enjoy riding down there. Northern DE is a different story. 😳
I like this better than getting out on the trail, but will be doing that tomorrow. Will put this on pause and come back later.😊
I’ll be waiting…😂
thank you for making this video

Thanks for uploading another adventure. Its late in the evening. But I'm gonna stay up and watch it. Keep putting these adventures up for us.
Thanks! Hope you like it.

Thanks, Chad. I’d love to get down your way someday.

At the end ( was still watching when I posted) you put how many miles. How long does it usually take you and what speed do you go?

A little narration would make this much more interesting!
Agreed, Jimmy. This is relatively old. I hope I’ve gotten better since then. Although now people say I narrate too much! 😄
