Great Video!!!! Us 2 Old Guy's followed your directions to a tee. Even had the same bloopers you did. Thank You very much. Your help was Greatly Appreciated!!!❤❤🙏👍
Thanks, provided just enough in a short amount of time that someone with basic mechanical skills should be able to know what they are facing....much appreciated!:) I found this very helpful!
My friend I don't know if that's your daughter or your wife but I can assure you the best part I seen wasn't the door regulator it was her she's a keeper you guys are awesome👍🙏
2006 Ford f150 super cab OEM rear window regulator needs a new nut for the new bracket style. Nut at this time does not come with purchase nor did they tell me i needed one. The nut will be same size for screws that hold regulator in place.
I thought about doing that. I was concerned the wire would just slip off again and didn’t want to repeat the repair. I have not had any issues with the new window regulator.
@@thedad1i took my off and noticed one of the plastic clips on the window clamp that go on the rail owas broken causing my window to tilt and possibly causing the wire to tangle. Unfortunately for me I’ll have to replace the part as well.
Can this still be done with the window down (front drivers side) since a reulator usually goes with the window down? I think i hear the cable off on mine like your video
Why were the animals credited without being in the video. Were they part of the crew? Perhaps the best boy grip or the sound director? If so it is unacceptable that they were not credited specifically for their work. The actors guild will be hearing about this. Also NASA.
Actually, the old regulator does not show any damage to it. Cable is wound up and on track. But no power is going to it. The new regulator is fresh out of the box, no damage and there is power going to it. It buzzes when you hold the down and no response if you press up. Wondering if it may be a harness issue. The harness that plugs into the switch that controls the window...
Not a waste. The cable would likely slip off again and the door would need to be taken apart as shown in the video. Cheap insurance to replace the regulator.
The video is perfect for my need, clear and concise. Thanks you saved my day!
Glad to help.

Great video! I’m not sure if you know but can you readjust the wire on the wheel?

Excelente
i like the tape idea.

I believe so. You can push the window up by hand when the inside panel is off. Then tape it well.
Good video... :)
I am inspired! I think I'll fix my own windows now..
How do you get the window to roll down if it's stuck in the full upright position?
I don’t know
good job.....thanks for the video!!!
Your awesome great job :)

😂
What if the new regulator does not work? There's power going to the new regulator but it does not operate..
If the new regulator does not work it may need to be exchanged. Does the old regulator show the damage illustrated in this tutorial?

So you wasted a bunch of money because the cable slipped off ?? that’s awesome 👏
