Sir, if I may make a few suggestions. When cooking a whole chicken, it’s much easier and you get a better result if you put the bird in the Cook and Crisp basket that came with your Foodi.
Pressure cook first, then, gently pat it with a paper towel to remove any moisture.
If you want to use your chicken rub, brush the chicken with olive oil, or melted butter, and sprinkle your seasoning on and gently brush it to combine with the oil or butter.
Close the regular lid, and use Air Crisp @ 400° for 15 minutes, adding 5 minuets until the skin is as crispy as you like it.
Your chicken is browned and it’s much easier than searing it. Much easier to lift out, too.
You can also tie the legs together, with kitchen twine at the ankle bones, to make it more compact.
    Thank you for the video.

It'd have looked even better had you put it in the basket, then air crisped it after you pressure cooked it.It would then have been lovely & crispy.

Thank you, sir! I wanted a recipe that would make bone tender chicken without worry of browning the skin. Perfect!

I PC my chicken in the basket 15 min then air crisped it and the breast got dry. Not sure how to adjust.

@ Loretta Gravelle , if you'd put a bit of oil on it, then it'd have come out crispy but at the same time so moist. If the skin is really tender, then just brush a bit of oil on it very gently

Next time use the air crisp basket and skip the sear. Put your rub on, pressure cook for about 12 minutes. Then run the air crisper at 499 degrees for 15 minutes. Should be perfectly crispy and cooked tender and juicu

I'm sure this gentleman is a very nice person but.....this is the most UNappetizing chicken I've ever seen! If somebody served me that chicken I'd think that person didn't like me!
