If you keep reading further in the manga, you will find hints that Kraft was most likely a former hero of a time forgotten by history.
Makes sense, Who knows how old he actually is. To an elf a thousand years is basically nothing. I also think it's interesting that he could be a hero from the past, what was his journey like? Did he defeat the Demon King of his time?
He is also a hero along with a human. They are like a dynamic dou that saves the ancient earth😂
Kraft might be from the Mythical Era same with Serie or he might be older than Serie…

It is implied that he knew the goddess that lived in mythical era. That might be one of the reason he became a monk.

I really do think that Kraft met the Goddess and lived around mystical times, that's how ancient he is.
Yeah he's a bit too confident in the existence of the goddess so it wouldn't surprise me and he probably knows how to read the goddess monoliths too.

I heard from someone that the Holy Sword Himmel failed to pull out from the stone was actually Kraft's weapon. It can be seen from his statues that he is indeed holding the holy sword

In the manga alonh there journey they find a statue of kraft and other like statue of himmel and frieren meaning Kraft is a forgotten people of the past

Kraft looks like in his late 20s maybe early 30s in terms of physical age which means that he's like a millennia old
Even older. Frieren is over 1000 years old and she looks decidedly younger than Kraft. Kraft must be at least 3 times older than Frieren.

I think it is fair to assume that 1 human years = 100 elf years
so Kraft probably has been around for 3000+ years

Appearance has nothing to do with it. Serie is the oldest of the 3. She looked the exact same when she trained Flamme 1000 years ago.

Once the current anime season is finished. I love the sounds and art style of the anime so I want to savor this whole season first with out any big spoilers if I read the manga now. From what I see in this video the manga has one of the art styles that I really like to replicate in my own drawings so I'll be reading it after the anime season ends.

@@KICKASSoBASSIST I cried so much on this anime and manga, and seeing Himmel and Frieren, he’s dream to get married to her is a gut wrenching to read. Imma wait till this is finish, so I can cry one time. Hopefully. If frieren love Himmel also, I hope she’ll tell him, when they reach the thing that can speak to someone has passed. The author is cruel to cut so many onions and leave it for me to smell them and cry a lot. I can’t.

They were both surprised to run into each other thinking they were the only elf’s left and that all the others had died out. I found it kinda odd that Kraft mentions when meeting and after meeting Frieren on a couple occasions “We are both Elfs” kinda insinuating “I am Elf Man” you are “Elf Woman”…

Thing is we dont actually know how old she is we know shed atleast a thousand years old but she is always so vauge about that its always "atleast a millennium" like she doesn't actually know how old she is whic is really weird. Kraft also disregarded the fact she was part of the hero party and asked what she was before and she didn't answer thats a very weird interaction with the only clue being there elves implying they are both on the same age scale. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if shes a reincarnation of a acient hero just like sein and gorilla tho gorilla is a reincarnated kraft but hes still alive which is weird.
She’s not that much older than 1000. That’s when her village was destroyed and she became Flamme’s apprentice, and she was super young at the time, never having left it before. Also, she didn’t answer because she did nothing in that millennium. She lived quietly and isolated from when her master died until she meet Himmel, deliberately hiding and concealing her mana until she was strong enough to defeat the demon king. Kraft is much older, to the point that no one alive remember his heroics.
@@HenriqueErzinger that's not proof she's only a thousand years old tho elves don't have a concept of time being isolated from other people would lead to them not knowing the passage of time and she did do some very important stuff before she met the hero party and Kraft knows this he's not daft she trained with one of the greatest human mages ever
@@livingglowstick1337she was kinda like Flamme’s trump card, so she wasn’t really allowed to stand out or do anything important until the time was right. Also, she straight up tells Aura she’s been alive around 1000 years, which only works if she was super young when her village was destroyed. She didn’t know anything outside her village before meeting her master as well. She’s probably the youngest of the elves that still exist, because the demons hunted them down during the war, and she survived by staying hidden. She’s in no uncertain terms much younger than the only 2 others we know of.
They very much do track the passage of time, they just have a wrapped sense of scale.

Could have be that Kraft is much ancient than flamme? And his a hero too probably from the mythical time's cause nobody knows about hi hero atory.
Much more. He is probably (judging from his statue) the one who wielded Hero Sword and left it in stone.
He is probably Hero of mythical era, way way before Flamme. In times of Serie, where Goddess that gave humans healing magic was still walking among mortals.
That's why he told Frieren "you are still young/too young" becasue for him 1 thousand years elf is probably like 20 year old human is for 60 year old one.

The master of the great mage Flamme, Serie is already revealed to be a great mage from the mythical era that is mentioned to be a really really long time ago, even by elf standards. And that Serie still looks younger than Kraft.
@@yonjiru4919Serie is a weird case, she looks even younger than Frieren. I think she’s even more frozen in time because of her magic. Kraft is obviously much older than Frieren, but I don’t think he’s from the mythical era, as he didn’t believe in the goddess when he was younger.

The only reason why she's known is not because of the things she did, but because she's ACTIVELY running an organization. Kraft is living a life where he's just staying silent. So no, that doesn't prove that Kraft is much older. Kraft is not older than Serie. Kraft even said that he does not believe in the goddess. The difference between Kraft's version of goddess is also vastly different from Serie's version. That already speaks volumes that Kraft did not exist before Serie because Serie herself is from the mythical era. If he really was older, then he should at least know what the goddess looked like.
