its a bit late, but i have things to say. first of all, some spells ranked wrong. hot tea - nobody said HOW MUCH of it it can produce. if you can drown your opponents in hot tea, that spell doesn't look that useless anymore, huh? also its still a hot liquid, which means it can be used to: make something hot like water bath, melt the ice, treat frostbites, warming the food up removing rust from bronze - if Fern said it removes the rust from bronze statues, doesn't mean it only works on statues, it can easily work on any bronze fake grimoirs - even if thy're fake they still contains knowledge of some spells in them. they're are magic books, thy're just not writen by Flame. see through clothes - this spell is ACTUALLY useful and it was mentioned by Frieren herself. you can see if a person have a hiden weapon. if somebody steal your things you can see it throught thier clothes, so the thief can't hide in the croud. shaved ice - not just for cold drink or to eat, you can use it to, lets say, freeze the meat so it won't rot that fast(remember, they have no fridges) spell to save person from the swamp its a spell that can save somebody, what else use of it you need for it to be useful? tongue twister - that spell would be OP in a world when you need to read the spell words, like Harry Poter or The Witcher paper airplane - nobody said it can't use some paper with some spell put into it. a paper plane made of a paper with explosion spell on it, traveling for many kilometers is actually scary... heat the body spell - this thing can make you walk in the winter like its no big deal and some of those spells can be extended, not to extreme, we'll get there later, but just a little in thier original use area. hot tea - and what if it may produce other hot liquids, hot water for bath or cooking, hot oil to pour on your enemy, etc. removing rust - and what if it could clean rust from any metal? finding accesories - what if it could find any item? spell to scratch the back - could be an incredible trolling spell if it could scratch someone's back... spell to turn red apple into green - could be a great trolling spell if it could do the opposite - turn green apple into red. so green apple would look like a red, but still be sour as green one and finaly the main point. Frieren being a genius in magic analysis can turn and of those "useless" spells into something world breaking if she really wanted to. for example, sour grape spell is basically a spell that changes the grape juice acidity, basing on that harmless spell she could make a spell that change the acidity of any liquid. do you get where it doing? acid rains(not like acid rains we have, but a rain of ACTUALL acid), changing acidity of someone's blood which is instakill ability, producing extremely corrosive substances, extracting metals from ores and the list can go on for literal days... see though clothes spell, well, seeng through body and... how about casting your spells INSIDE the enemy. flower field spell, in manga Fern showed us a spell that creates a butterlies and the turn each of them into zoltrack. now imagine a field of flowers each petal of which will turn into zoltrack, good fkn luck to survive this shit. heat the body spell can easily be turned into self-ignite curse-like thing, basically another death touch spell. hot tea spell basicaly makes a hot liquid, which means it can changes its temperature... creating a lava or molten metal doesn't sound as a joke anymore, huh? with enough time and effort Frieren could turn any of those spells into something very strong, because her strongest ability is not some spell or her giant manapool. her strongest ability is her magic analysis, the thing in which nobody ever beat her yet, even Serie.
