Yes, more build talk . you are a a great woodworker and you make your project looks easy any tips and tricks that you can give us is very helpful
Yeah! Build talk is good - watching the build video was great, but if I wanted to build my own or do a similar project I love hearing the what worked/what didn't!
wow the light looks wery cool fantastic job
Love this type of video! Especially hearing your learnings and thoughts behind some decisions! Great video.
Would love to see you make a nice PC speaker build.
I actually appreciate this, thanks for the info
Realy nice work.
Thanks for the overview! I appreciate that you take the time to record your project builds. It's always nice to see how others are innovating as it sparks ideas for others. One thing i would love to see you add are audio samples of the builds. In order to accomplish that however you will need to invest in a decent microphone. Although I think it would really help to showcase what you do.
Cheers,
Greg
Such a cool speaker. I love the idea. Just a thought on the woofer enclosure. If you put the partition directly down the center . You could leave a small cutout behind the tweeter. Then create a small enclosure inside that would house the tweeter while keeping the woofer boxes the same size and completely sealed off from each other. i can't wait to see what you do next. i look forward to seeing you again at MWAF 2019!
Very nice made and cool led light
Really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the project! Why the choice of danish oil?
I appreciate the voice over, and so I think it would be cool if like every other video was like that. The river table idea is great, knowing what you know now about the resin, do you still think you'd go with that color? I think I would do it more blue if I made one. Great video as always!
Beautiful work. Well done bro!
Ништяк получилось. Молодец!))
Lindo projeto! Vc é um gênio Kirby Meets Áudio. Sempre acompanho seus projetos. Vc envia seus produtos para o Brasil? Abraços!
Love the way you work. Would you consider building a speaker that you can sit a big screen TV on top of something similar to the SONOS Playbase?
You should really do how to's and sound demos 👍🏼👍🏼
Hmm. Your *mistake of having different sized woofer chambers and placing the amp in the smaller chamber got me thinking. How about making a second speaker, repeating the same design (on purpose this time), but wiring the BT receivers and amps as two-way mono for each of them? That way, with a suitable phone you would get stereo with great channel separation, plus the added benefit of having differently tuned woofer chambers on each speaker, which would ensure you cover the lower spectrum nicely.
Эпоксидный ручек только ленивый не делал. Мне кажется быстро надоест.
В целом зачет!
Ive been watching a lot of Kirbys videos lately. Seems he no longer makes them and his website is defunct?
Hey Kirby! Could you tell something about DSP Boards or How to pair Speaker units wirelessly together?
It seems that you intentionally oversized the baffle to tilt up the speaker. Is tilt the only reason or is there another?
What colour was the mica powder?
You have great projects, but I don't understand why you build speakers with stereo woofers and only one channel tweeter when tweeter is the most important speaker for stereo sound?? This is very bad for stereo sound
You would be surprised how much the midrange content matters in stereo. Consider that MP3 encoders do a very bad job of representing high frequency content at the "sides," and how little that hurts playback for general use, and it starts to make more sense that a speaker meant for casual listening has only one tweeter. HF is very directional, so without placing yourself between two tweeters, stereo HF collapses in air. However, the midrange band, anywhere from 200 Hz to 1 kHz, has a massive impact on how much of a stereo soundstage there is. That is coincidentally the region that the woofers perform in. Having two means the sound that SOUNDS stereo is actually reproduced in stereo, and mixes in the room in a more perceptible way. Bass doesn't do this, for acoustic reasons related to the rooms this speaker would likely live in, plus the omnidirectional traits low frequencies have. All in all, this is a perfectly good design for this speaker's intended use, and probably does a decent job of conveying stereo information to a point. You are right, though, that true stereo would necessitate two discrete 2-way systems, tweeters to the outsides.
U rule
why isn't colour blue
when is acrylic build gonna happend
Middle one feels odd
Les talk more show , i do not even see the final product wish is the main reason to see the video. Do not get me worng i love your work but this one please a few seconds more and from another point of view to apricieate the job thanks.
