Fun fact: "Lechón" is how you call a young pig in Spanish, so Lechonk is a very funny name in both Spanish and English 👌🏻

It's a food to. When there is a fiesta or anniversary or etc. Lechon is very delicious food and it can cause you high blood if you eat to many.

Probably has been said but it’ll be interesting if there’s a time theme. Pasada is feminine form for past and futuro is the male form for future in Spanish. Professor Sada and Turo match that plus the Violet legendary looks very futuristic
Not only that but the Legendaries' names are Koraidon (Korai in Japanese means ancient or time-honored) and Miraidon (Mirai in Japanese means future)

Praying they don’t have gimmicks like the gen 8 starters. Hated the ‘drummer, sniper and soccer player’ wish disregarded those gimmicks and kept the designs otherwise.
Hopefully the open world isn’t dull and is lively. Having a Zangose and Serviper fight in the open world would be cool. Or some other things to do like side quests
most surely those two are going to be version exclusives

@@Mandudebroho Agreed. Those battle scenes and environments felt pretty off. The battles looked pretty stilted, and the environments felt kind of... stock? Where are the intriguing landmarks and crafted sceneries? Textures and character animations had serious problems too.

Lechonk is my new favorite pokemon. Also, the name apparently comes from the dish Lechon, which is spit-roasted pig, so I wouldn't be surprised if it evolves into a fire type.

the one thing that really caught my eye was the two legendaries and the professors. the professor for scarlet dresses like some sort of cave woman. flintstones style. the legendary for scarlet looks like a dinosaur from ancient times. the professor for violet dresses almost futuristic. and the legendary for violet also looks futuristic with its jets and robotic design
My guess on the legendary typing is fire/dragon and steel/dragon

It's weird how were going to get two different professors based on what game we get
Also the names. Turo is well, futuro which means future. And Sada is the female version of pasado. Which is weird because pasada doesn't existe but whatever, pasado means past.
I really like this theme of old versus new, the red school being connected to old rots and the purple school being up to date, as well as the professors, the best example of this theme is obviously the legendaries, which personally I think the steel dragon looks better.
I’m getting strong Unova vibes from this game.

A few things I saw: I saw that there were a few confined Pokémon that have megas, including: Salamence, Altaria, Tyranitar, Gengar and Lucario. I also thought the crystal in the Japanese logo could relate to the end of the trailer.
I don’t think megas are ever coming back considering how broken they were and players complained their butt off

Pasada in spanish stands for past and Futuro for future, so there it goes Sada and Turo professors.
So as with their clothes. Sada has like tribe clothes whereas Turo has futuristic clothes
@@NanchiPan honestly to plot of PLA answers a lot of plot holes for me. Like “Why are their apparently so many Fallers when we have never witnessed a UB before?” Turns out its because Palkia and Dialga’s fight ripped holes into Time and Space and were randomly throwing things, people and Pokémon into random universes at random points in time, “why is Looker in ORAS a Faller but not the Looker in Sun and Moon?” Because they aren’t the same Looker and might not even be in the same Universe. I feel like even in games moving forward we will see results of that ancient fight linger across all other games. This game might also involve random Space-Time rifts in the Overworld.
I'm pretty sure that the legendaries represent the past and future, same with the professors. The Scarlet one is traditional to represent the past, while the violet one is modern/techy to represent the future.

I was thinking the same, “Mirai” means “the future” and “Korai” can be interpreted as “the past”

@@lospollinos1978 And the professors name are Sada and Turo, wich come from the spanish words Pasado (past in Spanish, guessing they changed the o for an a since Sado doesn't sound as femenine) and Futuro (future but you can probably guess that one)

Sada: "Pasada", which means "a thing from the past", like "una actividad pasada" = "a past activity"

All the games could've potentially had good story writing. It's a bit unfortunate that Gamefreak's never really given it a proper attempt.
It's the only way to allow pokemon from PLA to be transferred in. There's definitely gonna be a time machine

I normally don't get too hyped for games which has me excited (and nervous) because this had me smiling like a kid the whole time.
I think those kiosk things will be the new pokemon center. Look at the red roof. Which would mean no loading zones to get in the pokemon center. Really nice for open world

The official photos show the professors' fashion, resembling the legendaries. Scarlet/sada looks more tribe/historical like, violet/tudo looks more science/futuristic.
Don't certain lizards puff up their chest when territorial/aggressive? Makes me wonder if the "past vs future" theme is quite literal in the "vs" part, in that the two lizard legends are fighting over the region (or maybe a mate 😏) and the game you choose determines which side of said battle you end up on.
This could also tie in with the school rivalry theory

The fighting over a mate seems true cus there is always a 3rd legandary pokemon that they introduced at the end of the game or that 3rd legendary Pokemon separates them when fighting and I have a theory that the second pokemon might present the present and it won't be a game exclusive

My theory is that Scarlet is themed on the past and violet on the future? The legendary Pokémon and the professors show that. Also I’m definitely picking violet and most likely, for my first play through at least, Sprigattito
I’m a sucker for the Robo-Lizard Legendary plus I like Purple more than Red anyways.
I tend to sway one way and another as more details are released. 1st trailer, I couldn't pick which version I wanted, but I was leaning Sprigatito. Now I'm leaning Scarlet and Fuecoco.
I heard that there are just two different schools one based of science and the other a more tribal feel
@AndrewWithEase11 11 I didn’t see the other ‘billion’ people, I watched the trailer and thought that past and future were the themes and when I say ‘my theory’ I don’t mean I am the only one that thinks this, I mean the theory I think it true is that it is past and present/future.

I think this is the first time I'm having trouble picking a version based on the cover legendary. And the professor doesn't make the decision any easier. Both look great for both. I guess I'll have to wait to see what other version differences there are.
Also, I'm glad you can make the player character look less uncanny than they looked in the first trailer.

There seems to be a theme of "past vs future". The professors and the legendaries are big hints to that. Proferssor Turo might be a reference to "futuro" or "future", he could also be a reference to Alan Turing, grandfather to the modern computer, he looks a bit like him. Professor Sada might be a reference to "pasada" or "past". I was planning on getting Violet, but seeing Professor Sada, I don't know; call me weak, but I see cool, pretty lady, big oof. I also wonder if Lechonk will evolve to be a fire type, because Spain does love their pork, he could be a fire-roasted pig, so-to-speak. Also, I think this is the first Pokemon game with a sole-female rival. Usually it's either been the other player character as a rival like May/Brendan or Dawn/Lucas or just some boy like Blue, Barry, or Silver.
Being as inclusive as possible and also breaking biases is something extremely important now.
Therefore, the four characters being an African girl, a Latino guy, White guy and finally Asian girl.
Also having a female antagonist/friend.

I think the scarlet dragon looks very much like a cockerel (the head plumage), and I would bet it’s part fighting type. I wonder if the violet legendary is steel or electric

I think it's cool too how both legendaries look like you can ride them! The scarlet legendary has what looks like a wheel on its chest and if you look at its design it's shaped like a bike, lol. The violet legendary looks like you can ride it too, looks like a modern day jet or something, especially with the turbines! Plus, look closely at its chest and body too
I love the dichotomy between Austin Johns thumbnail (not over exaggerating his reaction) and aDrives usual over exaggerated thumbnail right above this video in my sub box
With the theme being past and future it would be cool if they were set in sightly different times. It would make it worth buying both games other than just having version exclusives.

@@Krihskillz oh i didnt mean like they did with sun and moon. Agreed that was kinda of annoying. I meant more like set in entirely different eras, so both different looks but both having the same story. Sort of like alternative universes I suppose. But then that's essentially 2 different games so I doubt they would ever go for that!

The Legendaries are interesting. Currently in favour of the Scarlett Legendary, though the wheel thing in the chest is weird.
I mean, from the glance of em I'm guessing theyre based on Motorcycles. The Scarlet one being current day ones (rubber looking wheel, handlebar horn things) and the Violet
being futuristic (digital eyes, sleek appearance)

Looked into the official site, seems we're still missing official info on the the new region's name, Koraidon's and Miraidon's types (these are the legendaries' names) and on the new battle mechanics that there is supposed to be in the games
I know the legends are dragon typed according to the rumors/riddles and "leaks", but I hope that they used the symbol for dragon type in the riddle to indicate the legends were lizards/based on dragons and gamefreak takes a more creative approach. I hope they are Fighting/Ground and Psychic/Electric to bring some variety to box legend typings (Not redoing Zekroms typing unnecessarily) and keep the theme of past and future going, and also the possibility of the two legends actually being the same mon from different time periods. It would/could make since for the fighting/ground type (Koraidon) to over time become psychic/electric (Miraidon) as technology and life around it develops.
Professor Turo totally looks like Austin John! There's even the side-by-side comparison! Right down to the hairstyle 🤯😲

I could be wrong because it has been a very long time since I took theoretical physics. But the equations and the graph on the board behind the professor resembles wormhole equations and graphical representation.
I liked these legendary Pokemon who are represent the Pokemon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Games coming out this year in November before Christmas. Hopefully very soon we'll get to see what Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly would looked like in their middle and final evolved form because I would liked to pick Sprigatito as my starter Pokemon and hoped it's final evolved is beautiful like Snivy, Fennekin and Popplio's final evolved form🤞.
I really like the look of the legendaries the red lizard looks very traditional and past like while the purple lizard looks like it came from the future and has been upgraded gonna be very interesting how past vs future will collide in the story
It looks like they're bikes/motorcycles. The purple one even looks like it has a built in seat/backrest! Hover jet bike and a mono-wheel dirtbike!

@@connergaskell2344 Just gonna ignore Magnezone and Klinklang lines? Even Latios/Latias megas are Jet Fighters. All of Rotom's forms are literal Appliances. It's not even the first purple pokemon with jet engines lol! The do look pretty cool though, curious what the form changes are gonna look like.

Actually, Lechonk is a combination of two words: Lechon + Chonk
LECHON is what you call a young pig in spanish. It is traditionally cooked whole, often roasted, in various cuisines. The most popular preparation can be found in Spain and Portugal under the name lechón (Spanish) or leitão (Portuguese). - from Wikipedia

I mean it's not like other games haven't toyed with the idea before. Black and white had different 8th gym leaders in Iris and Drayden (granted they both used the same team) the city they reside in Opelucid city even looks different depending on the version. Black's is more modern while White's is older and traditional. and they even have slightly different post game areas. Black had black city and White had White Forest. You could even say that the past and future debate that scarlet and violet are going for was already done in Black and White.
@@dustinvance243 that is true, I had forgotten they did that in black and white. Though after those games they never really did it again.
But those were mainly visual difference with the locations. Different characters, teams and places were done in SWSH and I'm glad it seems like those types of differences are gonna be a staple from now on
