Definitely a Past vs Future theme. Time travel potential and that's how we get the Hisuian forms
I just realized that the Professors' names are a reference to that. "Turo" is from "futuro" (future) and Sada might be from "pasado" (past) but in femenine. Like "era pasada" (past era).
@@erickcruz4752 There is also a reference in the legendary names! It's Koraidon and Miraidon, and in Japanese, korai (古来) = ancient, while mirai (未来) = future
I heard from another Video that someone theorized that Koraidon (Scarlet) is the Original Legendary of the Region and that Miraidon (Violet) could be the result of Humans either trying to replicate the legendary or is The attempt to resurrect Koraidon (Kinda like how Genesect is) I’m pretty sure that they’ll just be there as legends that have always existed in the region but hey..Kinda neat theory.

Mirai is Japanese for future. Odon is the suffix used in prehistoric animals that means tooth - so it's name basically is Future tooth.
Don is also used in Japanese to reference someone/something standing at the top (Was used to refer to prominent figures in the Yakuza I believe), also Korai can be translated to Ancient.
Korai is also japanese for Ancient :)
Raidon also sounds like Ride On and aparently they are the ride pokemon in the game (Why the trailer showed going through a cave over sea and going up the air as if to say Fly/Surf etc:

Curious to see how the Past and Future will be used for the plot.
I’m not sure why I’m speculating some sort of time-travel mechanic? The version exclusive professors feel like a dead giveaway and the legendaries look like past & future versions of eachother.
If we get some sort of battle mechanic utilizing armors or mechanized/primal evolution (like with Groudon and Kyogre with primal stones maybe?), would be a whole lot of fun to see and explore

Probably, the profesors are literally named past and future
Time travel mechanic would also explain why we had Hisuian Zoroark (which is supposed to be extinct) in the previous trailer

Legendaries could be Dragon/ Fire or Dragon/ Rock for prehistoric and Dragon/ Electric or Dragon/ Steel for futuristic. However, just like Shady I am more excited for Lechonk!
Venonat has not appeared in a main series regional dex since GOLD AND SILVER BACK IN 1999. 22 years, that's insane!
There was a leak (BEFORE this trailer) that the cover Legendaries are *Dragon/Fighting* and *Dragon/Electric* on Centro Leaks, so I'm convinced that's their final typing.
(I like *Miraidon, the Pokemon Violet Legendary more* and that's probably the game I'm going for because of that)
I haven’t seen anyone else mention this yet but this reminds me so much of B&W and B&W2. Because this is the logical extreme of the “in one version it’s a futuristic city and in the other it’s an older village”. And its fun to see the concept, of the games being different from each other, revisited.
I think the ending frames show something more of a different world, that effect u usually see when dimension breaking or dimension transportation is trying to be shown
I think that could be a representation of the timeline. Think about it, Dialga, master of Time, connected to diamonds.
I think this is a representation of how they are pulling the ancient Hisuian Pokémon into the present times, through the timelines.
Great theory about the mechanic just being the combination of past and future. That would be very interesting to see for sure.
Can’t wait for Shady, Luke, Dylan, and Patterz to do a 2v2 randomizer cagelock:)
These are some of the coolest legendaries and the idea of one version representing the past and another the future is just such a cool and unique idea I really do believe these games can be very very special in more ways than one.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite looking trailers and it has some of the coolest legendary Pokémon I have seen in a Pokémon game.

So excited for co op but hope one day they will add a hard mode or randomiser mode that unlocks after you beat the game so makes replays more challenging and fun.
I dont think they ever will, they've answered this question in the past and their response is that people can play the game with their own proposed rules "nuzlockes etc" and that's why they don't need to add one themselves. So they want people to play the games however they want, so you want a hard mode, make the game hard by giving yourself restrictions
@@TheBomberman122 that’s fair with hard mode and nuzlockes but I’m always jealous that I don’t have the skill, pc or knowledge to be able to randomise with our favourite content creators do.
Randomizer would mean that the pokemon would be illegal and you cannot transfer them, but I dont see any trouble though.
But randomizing pokemon is very easy assuming you have PC.
@@HeyitzGary89 can't help you with not having a pc but once you get one there's plenty of people online that could help you download and run emulators
SO interesting bit of information i gathered from this trailer, scarlet looks kinda like a theme from the past, with the professor's look and violet looks futuristic. Also the two legendaries Koraidon and Miraidon mean things. Korai means ancient, time honoured, whilst mirai means future. and they both follow the theme of their names. Its gonna be interesting to see how things play. One version representing the ancient past and the other representing the future.
I adore ALL the Pokemon reveals so far, which is... the first time that's ever happened for me, tbh. There's always at least one starter that takes a while to grow on me, or one of the early route reveals that I don't care for. But these games have shown nothing but bangers which is real exciting. They got a good streak going, I really hope the rest of the new Dex is just as quality
I can't wait to see the different stages of evolution for these new Pokémon.

If the legendaries end up being Dragon/Fire and Dragon/Electric, then they're basically Reshiram and Zekrom 2.0. I like them a ton, they look incredible

Weird crystals at the end look like diamonds, like the adamant orb. Could be referring to Dialga, the Lord of Time as the new legendaries represent past and future. Similar to how Alola was big about space
My theory on the new mechanic is something related to time. PLA has introduced to us old versions of pokemon like Hisuian Goodra and others.... What if the gimmick was that you can reverse the genes of a pokemon back to an old state or advance it to a future state. And it'll probably only change the typing and ability, and a slight change to stats, so you won't have a gimmick where you have to use it to win a game, it'll just be an optional thing to make your team more diverse than initially expected.
Just discovered this channel somehow despite my hardcore addiction to new Pokémon news, love it. You have a great screen personality for this, not too annoyingly loud and screamy but you can feel the excitement and actual enjoyment of Pokémon. Guess I have just one question, how many marriage proposals are you currently seriously considering?

I know the legends are dragon typed according to the rumors/riddles and "leaks", but I hope that they used the symbol for dragon type in the riddle to indicate the legends were lizards/based on dragons and gamefreak takes a more creative approach. I hope they are Fighting/Ground and Psychic/Electric to bring some variety to box legend typings (Not redoing Zekroms typing unnecessarily) and keep the theme of past and future going, and also the possibility of the two legends actually being the same mon from different time periods. It would/could make since for the fighting/ground type (Koraidon) to over time become psychic/electric (Miraidon) as technology and life around it develops.
As soon as I saw the new guy Professor… I was yelling KEEP IT SHADY!
looking forward to your lets play the most. also 'mirai' from miraidon means future & 'korai' means 'past/time-honoured' in japanese, so very likely will have a past vs future theme :D

Might be a stretch, but since the legendaries are dragons, which we haven't gotten since Gen 5, it would be awesome if they brought back the Challenge mode, which was introduced in Gen 5.

I think the last splash screen is some sort of time travel. The two legends look like the same Pokemon at different time periods too
The Buwaya in a massive crocodile with a coffin built-in on its back. It selects a specific person, comes out of the river, walks up to its target and opens its coffin. It’s literally telling you to accept your death or else.
I think I'm definitely leaning towards the Violet legendary. The other one just looks like it had a car tire for a throat lol

Also Shady, you cracked it for sure. Riddler Khu teased saying 'Every keeps saying RF stands for 'regional form' what else could it mean' so Radiant Form sounds absolutely on the mark for me so I am taking with this idea and running with it now.
I thought seeing the box legends would help me make me decision and now I'm more confused than ever!
I think the last part where we see a pokeball in the diamond dimension is a _mystery gift_ containing a pokemon or something. Just a hunch 😶
The professors names also make allusions to past and future Prof Sada (pasada is feminine form of the word past in spanish) and Prof Turo (masculine futuro which is future in spanish)

I'm thinking electric. The eyes look like pixels on a screen, and the jagged, quivering horns look like lightning, along with the high-tech, futuristic theme violet seems to be going for.

Professor Sada seems to come from "Pasado" and Turo from "Futuro" aka past and future.

I’ve heard that you can ride the legendaries…in fact that’s suppose to be their main gimmick. They even look like vehicles and have the word “Ride On” in their names. I love that.

The fact that they show a stadium makes me think dynamax/gigantamax will still be a thing. It might not be the main gimmick, like how mega evolution was in SM/USUM, but I think it's still in the game.

I’m predicting the crystals mean a break in time. It’s focused on evolution, so it makes sense
I love Khu's play on words using "Ride" pokemon. Koraidon and Miraidon. Get it? "Ko RIDE ON" and "Mi RIDE ON". LOL
Also, the last scene looks like a prism kaleidoscope, implying that light, and therefore time, plays a big part in the story or new mechanic. This plays into time as traveling at light speed or near light speed causes time dilation and is theorized that time travel could be possible through faster than light travel. Just a thought.
