Getting logged into a game and seeing people discuss some of the weirdest shit in the region chat is one of the HIGHLIGHTS of the game. Apart from that, a solid advice.
@@yvanmezencev4669 I dont have it on either, but on EU i might give it a try. I can at least imagine what the US region chat has been flooded with for the last... 8 years.
"Fire Manual Trigger Weapons Continuously" is 1000% worth switching on, makes some weapons infinitely more pleasant to use. also works on Burst Fire weapons and some "Charge" weapons that automatically fire at full charge like the Opticor or Tombfinger (Primary).
For some weird reason, the weapons i liked using most in Destiny 2, were burst rifles that auto fired. And finally i can have that same feeling in wf. But even semi weapons, with the new cannonade mods that work only on those, i use them a lot more now, and this just makes them feel so much better its not even comparable.
You should've talked about the quality particle setting. Game changer for me, turning it to low makes the game way less cluttered. There is also an option to tone down your squad mates effects, another must use for me.
Actual Pro Tips : - Rebind "Context Action" to Y, so you can double Tap Y to instantly hack Consoles (using a Cipher). This is because the Cipher hotkey (Y) can not be changed. - You bullet jump with Ctrl + Space by using your palm to press Ctrl (not your Left pinky finger) and your Thumb to press Space. I can use all 5 fingers to bullet jump and use WASD at the same time - Use Hold to Sprint OFF so you can use Shift to roll. The basic movement combo is Ctrl & Space (Bullet Jump) + Hold Right Click (Air Glide) + Shift & Space (Air Roll). Air Rolls build up momentum. - You can set stuff like Heavy Attack or Secondary Fire to have an alternate key while keeping the default. I use Mousewheel up and down for quick cast or the default key when I want to hold it. - For PC Type always use Laptop. It will try to place you in whatever Squad has the best connection regardless of what type of PC you're actually using. - I actually didn't know about Inline Private Messages so thank you for that one. - For quickly checking your Energy/HP/ Shields at a glance you should turn the HUD Margins a little bit towards the center of the screen. But we should get a QoL to move all UI elements freely. - DON TURN OFF AFFINITY NUMBERS. This is how you can actually see how much range your Abilities have and also see the general area where other Players are using their Abilities around. - Fire Manual Guns Continuously is always ON for obvious reasons. Makes half of the roster actually usable. - Turn off Screen Shake, Teammate Visual Effects, Bloom and Depth of Field so you don't go blind and get nauseous when playing. I have more Tips, these are only the ones related to this video.
Ally highlights can be very useful when doing Conservation. Targets that can be tranq are always highlighted as allies so I can easily spot them from a VERY FAR distance. I also enjoy using enemy highlights although I had no issue playing without before. But now I just like seeing enemy automatically pops up & say Hey I'm over here! Ofc it can ruin immersion for many ppl so try it out & see if you like it. Good thing is you can turn the setting on/off pretty easily.
So I'm not sure how or why, but some people just have this setting off by default, so this is how to get names on Arcanes: Options / Interface / Customize Interface, Show Item Labels.
Some recommendations for the Customize HUD Colors option: • Focus (orange), so it isn't yellow like an objective. • Life Support Module (dark green), same reason as with focus. Went with a darker color because sometimes there are quite a lot of them at once. • Downed Teammates (pink), so it doesn't look like an enemy/target. The pink still reads as health/needs healing. • Loot (light blue-ish gray), better contrast on the mini-map without making it look like a box of candy. • Buffs (green or yellow), more readable. This also influences how the collectibles in Mirror Defense are shown on the mini-map. • Object Health (dark-ish mustard), more noticeable than the default blue-ish gray, but still pleasantly neutral. • Damage Number (light grey-ish pink), blends into the background as a bit more and separates them from affinity. • Ability Damage (highly saturated magenta/purple), better readability than the washed-out default. Also, it looks cooler to me.
Huge thanks for pointing out the additional (favorite-able) colours in the options there, just too bad it's a temp fav and only 25 individual colours, but that's still a whole bunch more options for starting characters that don't want/can't buy pallettes
Not a whole lot new to me here...but I had to give a like anyways because this is something I always neglect to do in games because its tedious sometimes and I appreciate videos out there that can streamline and simplify the process.
Tip: Cranking up the enemy highlight to like 70+ is super nice for Eidolons, for example. You can spot vombalists from much greater distances than usual. Great if you're not already a veteran at it.
One of the most needed QoL changes, and sometimes game breaking issues console players need, is separate menu analog stick dead zone, from game dead zone, even if you don't have drift at all and can play with deadzone in 0, in menu it still drifts, also sometimes you got stuck on mission selection console with controls zooming in or out, it's been a problem for quite a while, most of the time i give Warframe a break it's because of this issue.
Another good one for those that are photosensitive and prone to severe light induced migraines: Visual Effect Intensity under the accessibility tab. As long as you use a high contrast color, even the lowest setting is comfortable and playable without inducing hangover-level-migraines on a daily basis.
I don’t have any vision issues but sometimes enemies are just hard to see in this game so I use a low opacity light orange blight. It’s not very bright but just enough to help
Wow, I just discovered that you can invert hold/tap skills on warframes, something that has really annoyed me in the past. And that´s the main reason to watch basic videos like this. Thank you^^.
Along with hold crouch on mouse back, i also have toggle crouch on alt key, it's great for flying modes(space is up alt is down, adjacent keys), and for void mode.
Really like this vid, it's interesting to see other people's preferences. I personally like affinity numbers on for visual confirmation of a kill and it's interesting to see how much affinity each enemy gives; also, like being able to see enemies by an aura makes me not shoot my Moa all the time! though I do like the immersion factor, but I digress it's SiFi fantasy.
My brother calls me weird for this but my toggle crouch/toggle slide is on Q while just roll is on C. I dont like the double tap to roll on the sprint key at all. Sprint is just a toggle with shift.
@@DishonoredSkull It is all preference. I have my roll on C. It became even better once I started to use rolling guard to have a roll on demand key and also not accidentally waste a rolling guard charge randomly.

Surprised matchmaking ping limit was glossed over. I got tired of dc'ing, lagging, and losing or failing due to someone else's dog shit internet. Seting it to 100 makes it so you host most missions, or actually join a stable match.
@Unified-Codex Worse? It's a traditional setup. Every pc game from the 90's to early 2000's use these commands. Including fast FPS games like Shadow Warrior, Doom, Unreal Tournament. Warframe wasn't the only game to adopt ctrl+Space as a command, every game that had super jump uses this exact setup. In fact, Bullet jump is just an aimed super jump. Ctrl is in fact a better button once you learn how to use it, you can easily do it with the side of you hand and your thumb while keeping you fingers in the WASD
I feel like an underrated option is UNbinding Sprint/Dodge, and then only binding the separated Sprint and separated Roll keys. This makes it impossible to fumblefinger a dodge or roll when you intended to start sprinting, and generally makes parkour much smoother.
@@dracobutwhatever8611 OH, you're totally right, it's been so long that I forgot: I technically rebound it to some obscure key in the middle of nowhere like Right Square Bracket or Numpad Slash

@rockyman7577 That's the *void sling.* It behaves that way if enabled, yes. But you said "bullet jump." So pressing jump twice still doesn't give you a bullet jump. And I obviously didn't think you were referring to the operator when you didn't mention anything about the operator or the void sling, but instead a move that is exclusive to Warframes with the wrong inputs.
