- Today we took the Stealth Arms Platypus out for some first shots and initial look at what you get for a long wait and around 2k hard earned doll hairs.

Spoke with Steath Arms at the NRA convention. I was told it’s now a 28 week wait….
That's pretty wild. I'm glad they have taken off so well and seem dedicated to maintaining a quality product. Honestly I think it's worth the wait to get one.
Bought mine in February. It showed up at my ffl last week. Worth the wait imo

Wow! I think they are a victim of their own success! After trying this one I would definitely say the price and the wait are worth it. I was really impressed with everything about the Platypus.
@@skeenshandguntraining9429 I don’t have my platypus yet. I ordered it 10 weeks ago, but I have shot a couple. I do have a shadow 2 done by CGW that was converted a single action that is absolutely phenomenal. I also have a prodigy that was completely done by Tommy Guns USA that is pretty awesome. I can’t wait for the platypus to come in and do my own comparison. But my mind is gonna be hard to top that shadow 2 lol. Thanks for the video
@@sugarbear573 I wish I was better able to show off the Platypus in the video. I was definitely a victim of my own excitement! My wait was 15 weeks from time of order. Its a FANTASTIC gun for the price point! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!

Handled one at the range last week and it made me regret most of my recent purchases. I worry that their popularity will cause build quality and QC to go down as they try to get orders out the door???
@@ronaldwoodman224 I see the time frame to get one continues to grow as the popularity goes up. That makes me feel confident that they are maintaining their level of quality even as orders pour in. At least I hope so.
