We do all the windows by hand with ladders, squeegees, scrubbers, and synthetic pads to get the rough stuff out. This year we kicked it up to $70/man hour because of the inflation and gas prices. It kind of depends on your area also, we operate out in Wisconsin but I heard areas down south are more saturated with amateur window cleaners trying to get beer money. Been at it for 7 years and people will pay out the prices I mentioned above if they think you're professional and you have good reviews. A lot of your work will be repeat customers, referrals, and people who see yard signs you put out. Don't race to the bottom with other window cleaners, it's usually not worth your time if the client is too stingy

With higher pricing you can afford to pay and retain higher quality employees, have higher profit margin, among other things. If you were to go to 10 houses and knock on their doors, how many of those would you say want your services?
They say 1 in 3 so probably about 3 which would be 450-750 Dollars per 10 houses if what they say is true
