PLEASE WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO SO THAT YOU WONT BE MISLED. Dont ask questions until you watch the whole video please. this is about the Evap system on the cforce atvs. Several have asked questions about it. if you have a 2020 500 then go search for that video on my channel. this is for the 800. if you have heard the phrase vapor lock and you are having running issues with your machine then this might just solve your problem. There is NOT a bulletin from CFMOTO on the 2021 models to do this. So your dealership most likely will not remove it on a 2021 model. This was a issue on the 2020 models but CFMOTO redesigned the system and I personally believe it works great! I have no issues with mine. But I did this video for those who may be having issues with their CFORCE
I have this problem mine was manufactured Sept 2020 as a 2021 model.Called CFMoto said there is a bulletin on this and to take it to dealer for repair until a fix is determined. Dealer is backed up so he pulled the bulletin and its exactly what you are doing here. Just watched your video did as Joel showed very simple. will see if this corrects it.

Good detailed video tho n yes I’m aware this is on a diff wheeler than mine lol. Love your content and always waiting for more🤘✝️🙏🏼☮️ be well friend from way up in the back woods of Vermont
My 2021 800xc has vapor locked since brand new but only on very hot days on long rides. Now at 1500 km and no other problems.....I'm going to delete the evap on my own doing since it's simple and hey a guy can always put it back on if it dont fix the issue...great vids thanks for makeing them youtube is more of a help than dealers are..I asked my dealer and the response I got was your the only one that is haveing problems we dont know what it is causeing that...diy is the way to go thanks
So in Jan 2022 I bought myself a 2022 cforce 1000 overland & my lady a 2022 cforce 800 xc. No problems with the 1000. The first day we rode, the 800 had acceleration hesitations/stalls... it even shut off a few times while cruising. I thought I bought a lemon. Never had time to take to dealership. To make a long story short, I just completed this mod and now no hesitations or stalls. Runs smooth! I have yet to taken it back out on trails, but so far this has seemed to solve my issue. We will be riding tomorrow to see how she handles.
nice video i have the same problem on my cforce 600. i just want to comment on the fact that some people call it a vapor lock when is exactly the opposite. vapor lock causes a lean problem most common in carburetor engines. cfmoto problem is that the EVAP system allows excess of fuel vapor and some times raw fuel to reach the throttle body at the wrong time upsetting the computer program, creating a rich rough running engine. EVAP delete takes care of it. god thing we dont have to do emissions testing. LOL. GO CFMOTO!
Nice modification for the solution. 🥰 However I would have repurposed the vent line from the carburetor by relocating it up high next to the handle bars. Then connected it to the gas tanks vent line of course blowing through it to ensure that it actually works. Finish it off by adding a small filter on the end up by the handlebars and you're all set high and dry. 👊😉👍
Thank you guys for this video. I've been scouring your channel trying to find info on the evap system for the 21 CForce 600-T. The canister for these is behind the front right headlight and is a B*TCH to get to. I mean it is mean. I'm removing the entire left body panel above the shifter to hopefully track down the line that comes from the gas tank so I can delete this POS design
did this mod on a friend’s overland that i’ve modified the variator on it and more stuff and now has much more bite on throttle it’s awesome for a free mod..it seemed to have muddy water go through from the beggining
I had this issue on my 2021 XC800 -- bought FEB 20th, 2021.... dealer did the EVAP delete and now runs decent -- covered by CFMOTO as they said there is a bulletin for people that come in with this type of issue.
I have a 2021 800XC and still have the vapor lock issue. Will be getting the dealer to delete it when it goes in for initial service. This is a Canadian bike with 275 km's on it, approx 170 miles.
Thank you so much, been waiting for this video, my 2021 has been running like crap. I have less than 500 Km's and runs like its 30 years old lol, let ya know how it runs after this weekend!
Went for a 80 mile ride last weekend, hit everything from sand to muskeg you name it, it was 26 celcius and it ran awesome. I recommend removing it for sure
I did everything u did except I left the hose on the throttle body and then capped it back by the canister. That way I can use that hose for a vent line if I decide to snorkel someday. At that time I would pull it off the throttle body and cap it at the throttle body. I just capped it at the rear by the canister when I was taking off the canister like you showed on your video. Dont you and Joel think that would be ok?
Well I'm praying this is an issue and that your machine (Blake Stalans) is the odd one out. I was left high and dry a month ago and have done this delete to hopefully prevent a reoccurrence...if this doesn't fix my situation, CF Moto may have another issue on there hands...REALLY HOPING NOT THOUGH!!! I'm hoping to get back out and do some more riding this weekend after being off it for a few weeks following knee surgery....FINGERS CROSSED!!!
Fantastic. My new 800 had this issue. Any at home fix for that power steering recall. I've been waiting over a month on my dealer. Also my wife's 600 throws an empty fuel tank warning at 3/4 tank? 2 new atvs can't ride em. The fuel warning buzzer just makes her mad as hell.
Just picked up a brand new cforce 600 touring. The same issue. As soon she warms up, she is acting no good. Lots of pressure in the fuel rank as soon I open the gas cap. After I relive the pressure she runs fine for a while. It would be great if you guys could make a cforce 600 „evap delete“ video on your channel. The setup seems different than the 500 and 800. Even some pictures of the throttle body location and canister would be great. Thanks for your help.
I have the 2021 800xc and had the same issue as the 2020. Had to take it to the dealer and they bypassed it. Haven't had a problem since. Said they had 5 more 2021 other than mine do the same thing this year
Why not just cap the hose from the throttle body back by the canister and leave the hose on the throttle body wouldn't that work just the same that is what I did and then I took the cap toes and tied it and wrapped it up inside the frame. I was just wondering instead of doing two steps I just did one and I was back there by the canister don't you think that will be okay?
I'm taking my 2021 to the dealership next week. They talked to cfmoto and said bring it in to get it done. Just a fyi. But that freaking buzzing when you get on it is ANNOYING.
I have cforce 800 2021, and mi temperature gauge is not working, I tried changing water temperature sensor but is still not working, it stays on first line all the time, do you have some wiring diagram for this model, i suspect that is a problem with the display or with wiring
My 2021 cfmoto 800xc turned off while driving. Cant hear Fuel pump turn on now, but relay does click and the fuses next to battery are all good? Do you think is the fuel pump? Have you had this problem before?
@realtalkpowersports Hi I have the 23 800xc and don't see that evap can on mine. I do see the check valve and it leads to side of gas tank. It looks like evap can is built into tank. I'm pretty sure it's not fuel pump as that is in diff location. I bought mine new and I'm having a issue where engine starts to stall when taking off from a slow stop start.
After deleting the EVAP and the fuel line vent hose is free - is there not a risk of dust going through it and in to the gas tank? I was thinking about putting a fuel line vent cap on the end of it - which acts like a check valve. Just a thought to consider as it might be an issue in case that vent line draws air IN from time to time.
I know for sure mine is vapor locking. Rides great gets warm the you stop and she dies. Open the gas cap and it's a woosh man have not had that problem in years
I never really rode my 2019 800xc to hard or long rides. I never had an issue. Past weekend I rode it for about an hour straight with 2 or 3 quick 5 minute breaks. Got to the end of my ride and was about to go up a big hill and it stalled. Unscrewed the cap and it let out a psssshhhhh. It was hot to. Sat it with the cap off for about 10 minutes and it was good to go. I'm doing the delete, just need to go to AutoZone tomorrow for the cap. Let you know if I have any other issues with it. Thanks for the video.
Hi I have a 2021 uforce 800 that I still have issues with I love the machine it runs great for a couple of hours and then it starts to run like poop if I turn the ignition on and off three times it reset itself then runs great. I'm having problems with a 2022 cforce 1000 it heats up my belt and exploded three times dealership can't figure it out or just wants to keep selling belts but the belt isn't the problem
Nice video. When I did my 2021 I found it easier to remove more of the panels. I also used a hose clamp instead of a zip-tie. I still haven't found a great routing for the fuel tank breather. I would also add that if your state prohibits modifications to an "emissions system" (IE: California) don't do it... I think you mentioned that in the 500 delete video...
I have a 21 600T - Our canister is in the FRONT of the bike, bolted to a bracket on a frame member behind the right headlight. I'm currently trying to figure out how to the hell to get to it... Pretty sure it's full of muddy water from an unintentional submersion
My 2021 800xc has run great but it does beep occasionally when slowing down and oil light flashes a couple times. I've read a few other people mention it. Do you have any solutions for that?
Yes I have heard of this issue as well.. and there honestly is not a solution for that. They made the oil pressure sensor too sensitive and also its not located in the best spot.. so when you are decending a hill or coming to a stop it may flash and beep. Cfmoto is aware of that.
