First off thank you for your videos they are great! Brand new 2021 800xc, love the machine! First ride since I bought it today and every time I stopped I had to open the gas cap to release pressure or else it would stall. Glad to know this is a simple issue with a simple fix!
Just had it done on my UForce 500. It would get hot and would not start if I turned it off. It would have to cool down before re starting. The dealer suckered me into the 20hr service. Ended up costing me 350 dollars. Warranty covered the bypass. Thanks for the videos.
Real Talk Powersports yes I totally agree! I won’t be back unless it’s something I can’t handle. I will do my own oil changes myself from this point forward. The service manager at my dealer claim that these machines have to have valve clearance adjustment. I just had it done because I was second guessing it.

They need a positive online presence to help Change the narrative and set the record straight. And someone who can show fair comparisons against other machines and give feedback to them. If there a vote on who, u definitely got my vote.

I have a 2021 400s and I have some kind of vent hose that is next to the oil cap where it vents and connects to the underneath of the motor .I always keep my machines very clean after each ride and I happened to notice the tube had what was a oily sediment in it and I replaced it with a new one that I had a roll of . What I immediately noticed was the throttle instantly became very smooth in all ranges . Can you tell me what this hose is for and why I have this oily sediment in it . What could be causing this I cant find any information in the manual . This hose is clear around 1/4 OD / 3/16 ID and please note I have not Ben going through any water that go over the foot rest . I usually do most of my own maintenance and would appreciate your input . Thanks Rene Martel

I have a CF Moto Cforce 500 manufactured 11/21. It won’t run for nothing. My local dealer where I bought it is absolutely horrible. They keep slapping sparks plugs in it and calling it good and wanting to charge me even though it’s under warranty. I’ve mentioned this to them and they won’t even acknowledge it. I’m tempted to make the 4 hour drive to let you guys do it
On my 2019 500s the hoses run forward to the canister located behind left front wheel inner fender shield. I went ahead and did mine myself yesterday and it runs great after deleting. I cheated and left canister and hoses in place so it could be changed back in the future if ever required.
ok been dealing with this issue on my wifes 500s for 3 weeks, i knew it. after this vid i did hers and mine, they run so much better, its noticeable, seems the tank vent has a check valve as well.

I have a 2020 cforce 600 I have had for 3 weeks now and the first long ride out I had the throttle and hesitation issues and seeing these videos before I was aware of the gas cap venting issue so I cracked open the gas cap and sure enough it spewed and vented and this issue was resolved at the time. I’m am wondering if the 600 will become included in this issue and repair.
I just had the same issue last week we’re about to find out because I cussed out Hondo for it’s because everything still under warranty and I’m having a bunch of issues in the last five months of owning one brand new 2021
Did my 800xc. Plugged the throttle body and pulled the rear hose off the canister with a T marked on it. Tie up all loose hose ends and your done. Literally a 5 min fix.
What about the 600 -- touring and regular -- I have a 2021 XC800 and touring 600 (had the EVAP removal done by the dealer on the 800 and made a world of difference) - what about the 600? You guys don't mention that model at all, but I have heard others that have had issues similar to this with the 600... what kind of fix for the 600?
Blake, do you think the 600 Touring is ok like the 600? I haven't had any issues yet with idle or anything. I'm up to 25 hours and just changed my oil for the 1st time yesterday. Thanks buddy!

I have had problems with my 2021 CForce 500 not cranking - they changed the control module -switch and everything they could think of. Come to find out after trial and error the fuel pump keeps loosing its prime and you have to turn the key on and off through about 5 or 6 prime cycles to get it to start. Is there a check valve in the fuel system somewhere that can be replaced to stop the flow back problem?

You will be very happy with them im sure.. but the warranty deal comes down to your local dealer... and they honestly wouldn't know weather it had a clitch kit in it or not unless they took your clutches apart and saw the different weights and springs.. so i would recommend that if you are concerned with warranty work in the future, i would just talk to your dealer and feel him out about the coverage.
How do we keep water from sucking back up Into the tank? Could you leave the one way valve on there? I know on carb bikes the carb bowl over flow we just plugged them with a golf tee

My 2019 500s doesn't have this can. Just bought it used with 50 mi from dealer. The rear storage has no holes or anything that would suggest this was even there. I'm in CT
I wonder if my 2021 yamaha kodiak 450 has this set up? My daughters atv kept stalling on the trail. Dealer thinks its the fuel pump but can't figure it out because they can't get it to fail like it was failing on us.
My 2020 600 builds up so much pressure in the tank that this weekend I did a 75 mile ride and when I opened it to refill the cap actually shot about 3 feet into the air. I let the pressure out but not enough obviously.

I catch Joel for a couple of seconds on different vehicles but if you could do one to show the patrons how to pull the plastic off the sides without breaking the tabs that would be much appreciated. Had a problem last ride with my CForce 800. It would stall while on the trail. When I tried to restart it would not do anything. Battery was fine but it would not even attempt to turn over. I would turn the unit on and off 2-3 times and tried to start. Usually would start on third try but ran rough and wanted to stall if RPMs were low. I bet this is the issue. Already have this going to my dealer on 8/28 for the first service. I will have him delete the evap.
Hey DJ there is a cfmoto forum and what you are describing is what 6 other people were. This fix eliminated their stalling issue. Hope it works out for you!
Received my units back and dealer stated they applied the “fix”. I have not driven the Cforce much since getting it back. But there is no sign of the issue so far.
Just got a brand new 21 cfmoto cforce 500s. 70 miles and 11.3 hrs I've put on it since it was assembled. Had that fuel issue happen 2 times today (9-24-21) Since the hoses shoot forward is that a fuel bypass issue or is the emissions reduction stuff causing my problems? Would this affect a snorkel system it being down like that would water/mud get inside the tank? Iv heard a guy have this problem. And if so what should be done with it to void water getting inside
I have a 500 2018 and after an hour and a half of driving it will turn off when I stop on any gear, It will stay on again if it's in parking but as soon as a shift it will turn off. So I have to turn it on while in gear and accelerate and after that it will keep running fine till I stop again. Do you think this might be the same issue?
I’ve had an issue lately with while running down trail in snow, my 800XC will stall out, also when coming to stop after hard run. Yet idling around yard is fine with kids.

You will have to call your dealer about it.. some dealers act like they have never heard of it.. but it was a bulletin that was sent to all dealers (except in California) for the 2020 cforce 500, and 800

So this is odd-mine doesn’t have that canister in the back I also called my local dealer he said there’s no type of recall or anything to fix anything on a 2019 CForce 500 my issue is I’ll be driving and then go to full throttle it and it just goes to surging rev high and then not go anywhere and it’s like it tries to put out power but it just won’t go and then eventually stalls and dies- this is withholding the throttle wide open- really getting fed up with it but only has 29 hours on it

2021 cforce 800 first ride of the year after about 20 miles was real choppy at idle when I gave it throttle died can’t seem to figure it out.. I run 90 octane no ethanol and air filter is new.
I just bought mine this weekend (800 cforce) took it out for the first time it stalled out when it got hot and wouldn't start and would stall out when I put it in gear had to wait till it cooled down. Is canister the issue ?
Looking deep into cfmoto. Will my los al cfmoto dealer provide maintenance and repair come that day or would any arc shop help me out. Just a bit Leary of my “local” cfmoto dealer is not one of the better motorcycle stores. Any advise would be awesome

Hey Daniel i have a UFORCE 1000 as well but i havent even thought to really check the Evap system out yet.. Ill have to take a look at it first.. Im sure if its like the 950 canister you can had a hose for the vent of the canister and reroute it. But ill have to verify,
The evap canister is mounted at the bed frame and is above the tires. You would have to be in some pretty deep crossings to get water sucked in through the canister.

@@Ccam1190 the evap is up front kinda behind the headlights. I had a evap line that was pinched and also I modified the exhaust tip to make it flow better. And I don’t tighten the gas cap till it clicks I just make it barely snug and haven’t had a problem since then.

I have a 2020 800CXC, when I called the dealer and asked about getting this done as a recall or service bulletin they said it wasn't a thing. Do i need to tell them something specific? Afraid if I do it myself that'll void my warranty.
i just got a 2015 800 quad, Im thinking it has some problem like that, since when i open the gas tank a big breathing shhhhhhh comes out, im gonna have to investigate it. i live in argentina, i wonder if that canister even comes this way

I have a 2018 cforce 400 it will start up run for a few minutes then dies bogs under acceleration but it’s not consistent runs like a top then bogs out and dies but fires right back up any ideas only has 28 hours on it
Have a 2019 800 cforce vaperlocking on long hot rides will they take care of that? Also had a beeping issue and what you said I'm hitting the Rev limiter in high and low just beeps all the time. Maybe I'm a little tuff on it.😁 Is there a way to stop the beeping or a delete it ?
I'm pretty sure this evap problem just got me I was driving my uforce 800 and it started running poorly out of nowhere started shaking and lost power bran new 2021 stopped running and the efi light came on and when cooled down it just ran poorly I'm pretty ticked off only 114 miles
I called my dealer and he said they contacted cf moto directly and they have said there is no service bulletin or recall for this. I was wondering where you are getting the information cause I would like to have cf pay for this also
I got a question I accidentally melted the evap cap on top of the gas tank and it is that replaceable or necessary it melted the plastic top and the plastic vent coming off it shut 😒 thanks for any information
whooofff... Im sorry that happened.. and hopefully one of the shop guys will see your comment and be able to give more input on what to do.. never hurts to let your local shop take a look at it and see if its a part they can order and replace.

Tap into the gas cap put a barbed fitting and then put a rubber hose on it !! Same thing the older quads did

So I have to turn it on while in gear and accelerate and after that it will keep running fine till I stop again. Do you think this might be the same issue?
I’ve had an issue lately with while running down trail in snow, my 800XC will stall out, also when coming to stop after hard run. Yet idling around yard is fine with kids.

Hi guys, i have a cforce 450 and my thumb gets tired when i drive for a while. Is it possible to adjust the spring in the throttle or replace with a softer spring?
My cfmoto 500 will start and run for 15/20 min. Then stops I what for a half hour or more and it will start again what is my problem help
Hey Blake....would this issue kick the EFI dash light on? Also, is this something the dealer eats the cost on....or do they charge the machine owner to delete? Any info is appreciated.
You will have to call your dealer about it.. some dealers act like they have never heard of it.. but it was a bulletin that was sent to all dealers (except in California) for the 2020 cforce 500, and 800

Hey guys, does the cforce 1000 overland have a evap. Mine seems to idle a little off and yesterday while plowing stalled for no reason. Had to cycle key off and back on to restart. Thanks for any info!!
So this is odd-mine doesn’t have that canister in the back I also called my local dealer he said there’s no type of recall or anything to fix anything on a 2019 CForce 500 my issue is I’ll be driving and then go to full throttle it and it just goes to surging rev high and then not go anywhere and it’s like it tries to put out power but it just won’t go and then eventually stalls and dies- this is withholding the throttle wide open- really getting fed up with it but only has 29 hours on it
So I figured out what the problem with mine was 🤦🏻♂️ The negative battery cable ground was loose 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😂😂
Is this just a 2019/2020 problem? My 2018 800 has a hesitation and I'm wondering if it's the same problem thx.

i have a 2019 cf moto 2 up 500 and i fill up drive for 5 mins and gauge goes down 1 notch will this fix that

2021 cforce 800 first ride of the year after about 20 miles was real choppy at idle when I gave it throttle died can’t seem to figure it out.. I run 90 octane no ethanol and air filter is new.

I just bought mine this weekend
(800 cforce) took it out for the first time it stalled out when it got hot and wouldn't start and would stall out when I put it in gear had to wait till it cooled down.
Is canister the issue ?
Are the 2001 XC 800's affected by this as well?

Looking deep into cfmoto. Will my los al cfmoto dealer provide maintenance and repair come that day or would any arc shop help me out. Just a bit Leary of my “local” cfmoto dealer is not one of the better motorcycle stores. Any advise would be awesome
Any CFMOTO shop is supposed to be able to take care of it. It doesn't have to be the place where you bought it at.

Hey Bill.. its totally different than the 500.. ive seen no issues with the Overland 1000 yet... mine runs good and no vapor lock issues.
Yeah my 1000 overland is working the same as what u explained ,poor idling and not sounding good n will shut off
Do you have a video or details on doing this to the 2021 Uforce 1000? Same concept as the wheeler im assuming? I have the canister and have seen posts of a couple guys getting water intake from it. Thanks
Hey Daniel i have a UFORCE 1000 as well but i havent even thought to really check the Evap system out yet.. Ill have to take a look at it first.. Im sure if its like the 950 canister you can had a hose for the vent of the canister and reroute it. But ill have to verify,

The evap canister is mounted at the bed frame and is above the tires. You would have to be in some pretty deep crossings to get water sucked in through the canister.

@@Ccam1190 the evap is up front kinda behind the headlights. I had a evap line that was pinched and also I modified the exhaust tip to make it flow better. And I don’t tighten the gas cap till it clicks I just make it barely snug and haven’t had a problem since then.
Does the 2022 800 xc need this as well or did CF Moto figure this out?

Hi I have a 2020 Cfmoto Cforce 800xc. It gets really hot around the engine compartment. Where I live doesn’t allow relocating the radiator. Does anyone know how to redirect the heat?

Also I wonder if you could leave it all hooked up the way it was and just remove that filter?? Maybe it's not breathing right through that filter? Just a thought.

I have a 21 800 that was stalling out the other day when I had driven it about 40 miles... shut it off,,, started it back up and it would die if you gave it throttle,,, I’m thinking it has something to do with this.. I’m gonna disconnect it and report back. Blake, what symptoms did your 800 have when you bypassed the evap system?

I have a 2020 800CXC, when I called the dealer and asked about getting this done as a recall or service bulletin they said it wasn't a thing. Do i need to tell them something specific? Afraid if I do it myself that'll void my warranty.
Yea wait and let your dealer do it.. i know for a fact my local dealers recieved this information from CFMOTO.. so i don't know what the deal is..

i just got a 2015 800 quad, Im thinking it has some problem like that, since when i open the gas tank a big breathing shhhhhhh comes out, im gonna have to investigate it. i live in argentina, i wonder if that canister even comes this way

I have a 2018 cforce 400 it will start up run for a few minutes then dies bogs under acceleration but it’s not consistent runs like a top then bogs out and dies but fires right back up any ideas only has 28 hours on it

Have a 2019 800 cforce vaperlocking on long hot rides will they take care of that? Also had a beeping issue and what you said I'm hitting the Rev limiter in high and low just beeps all the time. Maybe I'm a little tuff on it.😁 Is there a way to stop the beeping or a delete it ?
When it beeps do you notice if your little oil light flashes up for just a second or 2?

I'm pretty sure this evap problem just got me I was driving my uforce 800 and it started running poorly out of nowhere started shaking and lost power bran new 2021 stopped running and the efi light came on and when cooled down it just ran poorly I'm pretty ticked off only 114 miles
I called my dealer and he said they contacted cf moto directly and they have said there is no service bulletin or recall for this. I was wondering where you are getting the information cause I would like to have cf pay for this also
It was on US models.. for 2020 cforce 500, cforce 400 and cforce 800.. I saw the bulletin myself.. they fixed the issue on the 2021 models.

I got a question I accidentally melted the evap cap on top of the gas tank and it is that replaceable or necessary it melted the plastic top and the plastic vent coming off it shut 😒 thanks for any information
whooofff... Im sorry that happened.. and hopefully one of the shop guys will see your comment and be able to give more input on what to do.. never hurts to let your local shop take a look at it and see if its a part they can order and replace.
@@RealTalkPowersports thanks I called the shop they said it's a gas tank vent and I would have to replace the whole tank I don't have 400 bucks to replace it and its on back order for along time anyway, if it is just a vent for the gas tank couldn't I just drill the whole back where it was through the melted nipple
